20:2 | The feare of a king, is as the roaring of a Lion: who so prouoketh him to anger, sinneth against his owne soule. |

20:14 | It is nought, it is nought (saith the buyer:) but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth. |
20:15 | There is gold, and a multitude of Rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious iewell. |
20:16 | Take his garment that is suerty for a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman. |
20:17 | Bread of deceit is sweet to a man: but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with grauell. |
20:18 | Euery purpose is established by counsell: and with good aduice make warre. |
20:19 | He that goeth about as a tale-bearer, reueileth secrets; therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lippes. |
20:20 | Who so curseth his father or his mother, his lampe shall be put out in obscure darkenesse. |
20:21 | An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning: but the ende thereof shall not be blessed. |
20:22 | Say not thou, I will recompence euil: but wait on the Lord, and he shall saue thee. |
20:23 | Diuers waights are an abomination vnto the Lord: and a false ballance is not good. |
20:24 | Mans goings are of the Lord; how can a man then vnderstand his owne way? |
20:25 | It is a snare to the man who deuoureth that which is holy: and after vowes, to make inquirie. |
20:26 | A wise king scattereth the wicked, & bringeth the wheele ouer them. |
20:27 | The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. |
20:28 | Mercy and trueth preserue the king: and his throne is vpholden by mercy. |
20:29 | The glory of yong men is their strength: and the beautie of old men is the gray head. |
20:30 | The blewnes of a wound cleanseth away euill: so doe stripes the inward parts of the belly. |

20:11 | A chylde is knowen by his conuersation, whether his workes be pure and right |
20:12 | The eare to heare, the eye to see: the Lorde hath made them both |
20:13 | Loue not sleepe, lest thou come vnto pouertie: but open thyne eyes, that thou mayest haue bread inough |
20:14 | It is naught, it is naught (saith he that byeth): but when he commeth to his owne house, then he boasteth [of his peny worth. |
20:15 | There is golde, and a multitude of precious stones: but the lippes of knowledge are a precious iewell |
20:16 | Take his garment that is suretie for a straunger: and take a pledge of hym for the vnknowen sake |
20:17 | A man liketh the bread that is gotten with deceipt: but at the last his mouth shalbe filled with grauell |
20:18 | Thorowe counsayle, the thinges that men deuise are made strong: and with good aduise take warre in hande |
20:19 | The craftie deceiptfull bewrayeth secrete counsayle: therefore meddle not with hym that flattereth with his lips |
20:20 | Who so curseth his father and mother, his light shalbe put out in the depth of darknesse |
20:21 | The heritage that commeth hastylye at the first, shall not be blessed at the ende |
20:22 | Say not thou, I wyll recompence euyll: but put thy trust in the Lorde, and he shall deliuer thee |
20:23 | Diuers wayghtes are an abhomination vnto the Lord, and a false balaunce is not good |
20:24 | The Lord ordereth euery mans goinges: how can a man then vnderstand his owne way |

20:27 | The light of the Lord is the breath of man, and searcheth all the bowels of the belly. |
20:28 | Mercie and trueth preserue the King: for his throne shall be established with mercie. |
