Isaiah - Chapter: 15

>
15:1The burden of Moab: because in the night Ar of Moab is laide waste and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laide waste, and brought to silence:
15:2Hee is gone vp to Baijth, and to Dibon, the high places, to weepe: Moab shall howle ouer Nebo, and ouer Medeba, on all their heads shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard cut off.
15:3In their streetes they shall girde themselues with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, weeping abundantly.
15:4And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shalbe heard euen vnto Iahaz: therefore the armed souldiers of Moab shall crie out, his life shall be grieuous vnto him.
15:5My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heifer of three yeeres olde: for by the mounting vp of Luhith with weeping shall they goe it vp: for in the way of Horonaim, they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.
15:6For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grasse faileth, there is no greene thing.
15:7Therefore the abundance they haue gotten, and that which they haue laide vp, shall they cary away to the brooke of the willowes.
15:8For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab: the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the howling thereof vnto Beer-Elim.
15:9For the waters of Dimon shalbe full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and vpon the remnant of the land.

15:1The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.
15:2He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.
15:3In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.
15:4And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.
15:5Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.
15:6For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.
15:7Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.
15:8For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,
15:9Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.

15:1This is the heuy burthen vpon Moab: Ar of Moab was destroyed & ouerthrowen in the nyght season: Kir also in Moab was destroyed & peryshed in the nyght.
15:2They wente vp to the ydols house, euen to Dibon to the hye places, to wepe for Nebo, and Moab dyd mourne for Medba: All theyr heades, were balde & all theyr beardes shauen.
15:3In theyr stretes are they gyrded aboute with sack cloth. In all the toppes of their houses & stretes shalbe nothynge but mournynge & wepynge.
15:4Hesebon & Eleale shall crye, that theyr voyce shalbe hearde vnto Iahaz. The worthyes also of Moab shall bleare out and crye for very sorow of their Myndes:
15:5Wo shall my herte be for Moabs sake. They shal flye vnto the cyte of Zoar, which is lyke a fayre yong bullock of thre yere olde, for they shall all go vp to Luith, wepinge. Euen so by the waye toward Horonaim they shall make lamentacion for ther vtter destruccion.
15:6For the waters of Nimrim shalbe dried vp, by reason wherof the grasse is withred, the herbes destroyed, & the grene thynges gone.
15:7For the residue that he hath done, they are sory. As for theyr substaunce, the enemyes haue caried them to the broke of the wyllyes.
15:8For the crie went ouer the whole lande of Moab: vnto Eglaim & vnto Beer Elim was there nothing but mournyng,
15:9because the waters of Dimon were full of bloude: for I the Lord shall sende more bloude vpon Dimon, & lyons vpon the remnaunt of the lande, & on them that are escaped from Moab.
