Isaiah - Chapter: 32

>
32:1Behold, a King shal reigne in righteousnes, and princes shal rule in iudgement.
32:2And a man shall be as an hiding place from the winde, and a couert from the tempest: as riuers of water in a drie place, as the shadow of a great rocke in a wearie land.
32:3And the eyes of them that see, shall not be dimme; and the eares of them that heare, shall hearken.
32:4The heart also of the rash shall vnderstand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall bee readie to speake plainely.
32:5The vile person shall be no more called liberall, nor the churle sayd to be bountifull.
32:6For the vile person wil speake villenie, and his heart will worke iniquitie, to practise hypocrisie, and to vtter errour against the Lord, to make emptie the soule of the hungry, and hee will cause the drinke of the thirstie to faile.
32:7The instruments also of the churle are euill: he deuiseth wicked deuices, to destroy the poore with lying wordes, euen when the needie speaketh right.
32:8But the liberall deuiseth liberall things, and by liberall things shall hee stand.
32:9Rise vp ye women that are at ease: heare my voice, ye carelesse daughters, giue eare vnto my speech.
32:10Many dayes and yeeres shall ye be troubled, yee carelesse women: for the vintage shall faile, the gathering shall not come.
32:11Tremble yee women that are at ease: be troubled, ye carelesse ones, strip ye and make ye bare, and gird sackecloth vpon your loynes.
32:12They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fieldes, for the fruitfull vine.
32:13Upon the land of my people shall come vp thornes, and briars, yea vpon all the houses of ioy in the ioyous citie.
32:14Because the palaces shall be forsaken, the multitude of the citie shall be left, the forts and towres shall be for dennes for euer, a ioy of wild asses, a pasture of flockes;
32:15Untill the spirit be powred vpon vs from on high, and the wildernesse be a fruitfull field, and the fruitfull field be counted for a forrest.
32:16Then iudgement shall dwell in the wildernesse, and righteousnesse remaine in the fruitfull field.
32:17And the worke of righteousnesse shalbe peace, and the effect of righteousnesse, quietnesse and assurance for euer.
32:18And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places:
32:19When it shall haile, comming downe on the forrest; and the citie shall be low in a low place.
32:20Blessed are yee that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feete of the oxe and the asse.

32:1Beholde, a kyng shall gouerne after the rule of righteousnesse, and the princes shall rule according to the ballaunce of equitie
32:2And that man shalbe vnto men as a defence for the winde, and as a refuge for the tempest, lyke as a ryuer of water in a thirstie place, and the shadowe of a great rocke in a drye lande
32:3The eyes of the seeing shall not be dim, and the eares of them that heare shall take diligent heede
32:4The heart of the vnwyse shall attayne to knowledge, and the vnperfect tongue shall speake playnely and distinctly
32:5Then shall the foolishe nigarde be no more called gentle, nor the churle liberall
32:6But the nigarde wyll speake nigardlye, and his heart wyll worke euyll, and play the hypocrite, and imagine abhominations against God, to make the hungry leane, and to withholde drinke from the thirstie
32:7The weapons of the churlishe are euyll, he deuiseth noysome deuises, that he may beguyle the poore with deceiptfull wordes, yea euen there as he should geue sentence with the poore
32:8But the liberall person imagineth honest thynges, and commeth vp for liberalitie vnto promotion
32:9Up ye riche and idle women, hearken vnto my voyce, ye carelesse daughters marke my wordes
32:10Many yeres and dayes shall ye be brought in feare O ye carelesse women: for the vintage shall fayle, and the haruest shall not come
32:11Be abashed you that lyue in aboundaunce, tremble you that lyue carelesse, cast of your rayment, make your selues bare, and put sackcloth about you
32:12For as the infantes weepe when their mothers teates are dryed vp: so shall you weepe for your faire fieldes and fruitfull vineyardes
32:13My peoples fielde shall bryng thornes and thistles: and so shall it be in euery house of voluptuousnesse, and in euery citie that reioyceth
32:14The palaces also shalbe broke, and the greatly occupied cities desolate: The towres and bulwarkes shall become dennes for euermore, where wylde asses take their pleasure, and sheepe their pasture
32:15Unto the tyme that the spirite be powred vpon vs from aboue, and that the wildernesse be a fruitfull fielde, and the plenteous fielde be reckened for a wood
32:16Then shall equitie dwell in the desert, and righteousnesse in a fruitfull lande
32:17And the worke of righteousnesse shalbe peace, and her fruite rest and quietnesse for euer
32:18And my people shall dwell in the innes of peace, and in sure dwellynges, in safe places of comfort
32:19And when the hayle falleth, it shall fall in the wood, and the citie shalbe set lowe in the valley
32:20O howe happy shall ye be when ye shall safely sowe your seede beside all waters, and dryue thyther the feete of your oxen and asses

32:1Behold, a King shall reigne in iustice, and the princes shall rule in iudgement.
32:2And that man shall bee as an hiding place from the winde, and as a refuge for the tempest: as riuers of water in a drie place, and as the shadowe of a great rocke in a weary land.
32:3The eyes of the seeing shall not be shut, and the eares of them that heare, shall hearken.
32:4And the heart of the foolish shall vnderstand knowledge, and the tongue of the stutters shalbe ready to speake distinctly.
32:5A nigard shall no more be called liberall, nor the churle riche.
32:6But the nigarde will speake of nigardnesse, and his heart will worke iniquitie, and do wickedly, and speake falsely against the Lord, to make emptie the hungrie soule, and to cause the drinke of the thirstie to faile.
32:7For the weapons of the churle are wicked: hee deuiseth wicked counsels, to vndoe the poore with lying words: and to speake against the poore in iudgement.
32:8But the liberall man will deuise of liberall things, and he will continue his liberalitie.
32:9Rise vp, ye women that are at ease: heare my voyce, ye carelesse daughters: hearken to my wordes.
32:10Yee women, that are carelesse, shall be in feare aboue a yeere in dayes: for the vintage shall faile, and the gatherings shall come no more.
32:11Yee women, that are at ease, be astonied: feare, O yee carelesse women: put off the clothes: make bare, and girde sackcloth vpon the loynes.
32:12Men shall lament for the teates, euen for the pleasant fieldes, and for the fruitefull vine.
32:13Vpon the lande of my people shall growe thornes and briers: yea, vpon all the houses of ioye in the citie of reioysing,
32:14Because the palace shalbe forsaken, and the noise of the citie shalbe left: the towre and fortresse shalbe dennes for euer, and the delite of wilde asses, and a pasture for flockes,
32:15Vntill the Spirit be powred vpon vs from aboue, and the wildernes become a fruitfull fielde, and the plenteous fielde be counted as a forest.
32:16And iudgement shall dwel in the desert, and iustice shall remaine in the fruitfull fielde.
32:17And the worke of iustice shall bee peace, euen the worke of iustice and quietnesse, and assurance for euer.
32:18And my people shall dwell in the tabernacle of peace, and in sure dwellings, and in safe resting places.
32:19When it haileth, it shall fall on the forest, and the citie shall be set in the lowe place.
32:20Blessed are ye that sowe vpon all waters, and driue thither the feete of the oxe and the asse.
