| 33:2 | O Lorde, haue mercy vpon vs: we haue put our hole trust in the. Be an arme to suche early: and our helth, in the tyme of trouble. |
| 33:3 | At that confuse noyse, the people fledd, and at thyne exaltinge, the Heythen were scatred. |
| 33:4 | And the spoyles shalbe gathered (which shalbe youres) as are the gathering of Bruchus. And the multitude going to it, shalbe as locustes runnyng to and fro. |
| 33:5 | The Lorde is exalted, for it is he that dwelleth an hye: he hath fylled Zion with iudgement and righteousnes. |
| 33:6 | And a sure stablysshing of thy tymes shalbe strength, health, wisdome & knowledge: and the very feare of the Lorde shalbe the treasure of it. |
| 33:7 | Beholde, the messengers shall crie without: & the ambassatours of peace shall weape bytterly: |
| 33:8 | The stretes are wast, ther walketh no man therin: God hath broken the appoyntment, the cyties are cast awaye, & men are nothing regarded |
| 33:9 | the desolat erth is in heuynes. Libanus is shamed: & hewen downe. Saron is lyke a wyldernes: Basan & Charmel are despoyled of their frutes. |
| 33:10 | And therfore sayth the Lord: I will vp nowe: now will I be auaunced: now will I be exalted as a mightye God. |
| 33:11 | Ye shall conceaue stubble, & beare strawe, & youre sprete shalbe the fyer, that it maye consume you, |
| 33:12 | & the people shalbe burnt like lyme, & as thornes burne that are hewen of, & cast in the fyer. |
| 33:13 | Now herken to ye that are farre of how I haue done, & considre my power, ye that be at hande. |
| 33:14 | The sinners at Zion are afrayde, a soden fearfulnes is come vpon the ypocrites. What is he amonge vs, say they, that shall dwell by the consuming fier? which of vs maye abyde that euerlasting heat? |
| 33:15 | He that ledeth a godly lyfe, say I, & speaketh the trueth. He that abhorreth gaines wonne by violence & disceyte: he that kepeth his hande that he touch no rewarde: which stoppeth his eares, that he heare no councell agenst the innocent bloude: which holdeth downe his eyes, that he se none euell. |
| 33:16 | He it is, that shall dwell on hye: whose sauegarde shalbe in a bulwarcke of rockes, to hym shalbe geuen meate, & hys waters shall not fayle. |

| 33:18 | thine herte studied for feare thinkinge thus. What shall then become of the scribe? of the receyuer of our money? what of him that taxed our fairest houses? |
| 33:19 | There shalt thou not se a people a straunge tong to haue so diffused a language, that it may not be vnderstand: nether so straunge a speach but it shalbe perceaued. |
| 33:20 | There shall Zion be sene the heed citye of oure solempne feastes. There shall thyne eyes se Ierusalem that glorious habitatyon: the tabernacle that neuer shall remoue: whose nayles shall neuer be taken out world wt out ende: whose coardes euerychone shall neuer corrupte: |
| 33:21 | for the gloryous magestie of the Lorde shall there be present among vs: as a place, where fayre broade ryuers & streames are, thorow the which shall nether galey rowe, ner greate shyppe sayle. |
| 33:22 | For the Lorde is our iudge, the Lorde is our lawe geuer. The Lorde is our king, and he him selfe shalbe our sauioure. |
| 33:23 | There are the coardes so layde abroade, that they cannot be better. And therfore they haue not fyxed their maste, nor spredde abroade their sayle. Then there is dealed great spoyle: yee, lame men ronne after the pray. |
| 33:24 | There lyeth no man that sayth: I am syck, but all euell is taken awaye from the people that dwell there. |

| 33:2 | Lord, haue thou merci on vs, for we abiden thee; be thou oure arm in the morewtid, and oure helthe in the tyme of tribulacioun. |
| 33:3 | Puplis fledden fro the vois of the aungel; hethene men ben scaterid of thin enhaunsyng. |
| 33:4 | And youre spuylis schulen be gaderid togidere, as a bruke is gaderid togidere, as whanne dichis ben ful therof. |
| 33:5 | The Lord is magnefied, for he dwellide an hiy, he fillid Sion with doom and riytfulnesse. |
| 33:6 | And feith schal be in thi tymes; the ritchessis of helthe is wisdom and kunnynge; the drede of the Lord, thilke is the tresour of hym. |
| 33:7 | Lo! seeris withoutenforth schulen crye, aungels of pees schulen wepe bittirli. |
| 33:8 | Weies ben distried, a goere bi the path ceesside; the couenaunt is maad voide, he castide doun citees, he arettide not men. |
| 33:9 | The lond morenyde, and was sijk; the Liban was schent, and was foul; and Saron is maad as desert, and Basan is schakun, and Carmele. |
| 33:10 | Now Y schal ryse, seith the Lord, now I schal be enhaunsid, and now I schal be reisid vp. |
| 33:11 | Ye schulen conseyue heete, ye schulen brynge forth stobil; youre spirit as fier schal deuoure you. |
| 33:12 | And puplis schulen be as aischis of the brennyng; thornes gaderid togidere schulen be brent in fier. |
| 33:13 | Ye that ben fer, here what thingis Y haue do; and, ye neiyboris, knowe my strengthe. |
| 33:14 | Synneris ben al to-brokun in Syon, tremblyng weldide ipocritis; who of you mai dwelle with fier deuowringe? who of you schal dwelle with euerlastinge brennyngis? |
| 33:15 | He that goith in riytfulnessis, and spekith treuthe; he that castith awei aueryce of fals calenge, and schakith awei his hondis fro al yifte; he that stoppith his eeris, that he heere not blood, and closith his iyen, that he se not yuel. |
| 33:16 | This man schal dwelle in hiy thingis, the strengthis of stoonys ben the hiynesse of hym; breed is youun to hym, hise watris ben feithful. |
| 33:17 | Thei schulen se the kyng in his fairnesse; the iyen of hym schulen biholde the londe fro fer. |
| 33:18 | Eliachym, thin herte schal bithenke drede; where is the lettrid man? Where is he that weieth the wordis of the lawe? where is the techere of litle children? |
| 33:19 | Thou schalt not se a puple vnwijs, a puple of hiy word, so that thou maist not vndurstonde the fair speking of his tunge, in which puple is no wisdom. |
| 33:20 | Biholde thou Sion, the citee of youre solempnyte; thin iyen schulen se Jerusalem, a riche citee, a tabernacle that mai not be borun ouer, nether the nailis therof schulen be takun awei withouten ende; and alle the cordis therof schulen not be brokun. |
| 33:21 | For oneli the worschipful doere oure Lord God is there; the place of floodis is strondis ful large and opyn; the schip of roweris schal not entre bi it, nethir a greet schip schal passe ouer it. |
| 33:22 | For whi the Lord is oure iuge, the Lord is oure lawe yyuere, the Lord is oure kyng; he schal saue vs. |
| 33:23 | Thi roopis ben slakid, but tho schulen not auaile; thi mast schal be so, that thou mow not alarge a signe. Thanne the spuylis of many preyes schulen be departid, crokid men schulen rauysche raueyn. |
| 33:24 | And a neiybore schal seie, Y was not sijk; the puple that dwellith in that Jerusalem, wickidnesse schal be takun awei fro it. |
| 33:1 | Therfore wo vnto the (o robber) shalt not thou be robbed also? and vnto the that laiest wait, as who saye there shulde no waite be layde for the? Wo vnto the which doest hurte, euen so shalt thou be hurt also. And as thou layest waite, so shal wait be layde for the also. |
| 33:2 | LORDE be merciful vnto vs, we wait for the. Thine arme is at a poynte to vyset vs, but be thou oure health in the tyme of trouble. |
| 33:3 | Graute that the people maye fle at the anger of thy voyce, & that at thy vpstondinge the Gentiles maye be scatred abrode, |
| 33:4 | and that their spoyle maye be gathered, as the greshoppers are comonly gathered together in to the pyt. |
| 33:5 | Stonde vp LORDE, thou that dwellest on hie: Let Sio be fylled with equyte and rightuousnesse. |
| 33:6 | Let treuth and faithfulnesse be in hir tyme: power, health, wisdome, knowlege & the feare of God are hir treasure. |
| 33:7 | Beholde, their aungels crie with out, the messaungers of peace wepe bytterly. |

| 33:15 | He that ledeth a godly life (saye I) & speaketh the treuth: He that abhorreth to do violence and disceate: he that kepeth his hode that he touch no rewarde: which stoppeth his eares, that he heare no councel agaynst the innocent: which holdeth downe his eyes, that he se no euel. |
| 33:16 | He it is, that shal dwel on hie, whose sauegarde shalbe in the true rocke, to him shalbe geuen the right true meat & drynke. |
| 33:17 | His eyes shal se the kynge in his glory: & in the wyde worlde, |
| 33:18 | and his herte shal delite in the feare of God. What shal then become of the scrybe? of the Senatoure? what of him that teacheth childre? |
| 33:19 | There shalt thou not se a people of a straunge tuge, to haue so diffused a laguage, that it maye not be vnderstonde: nether so straunge a speache, but it shal be perceaued. |
| 33:20 | There shal Sion be sene, the head citie of oure solempne feastes. There shal thine eyes se Ierusalem that glorious habitation: the tabernacle that neuer shal remoue, whose nales shal neuer be taken out worlde without ende, whose coardes euerychone shal neuer corruppe: |
| 33:21 | for the glorious Magesty of the LORDE shal there be present amoge vs. In that place (where fayre broade ryuers & streames are) shal nether Gallye rowe, ner greate shippe sale. |
| 33:22 | For the LORDE shalbe oure capteyne, the LORDE shalbe oure lawe geuer, The LORDE shalbe oure kinge, & he himself shalbe oure Sauioure. |
| 33:23 | There are the coardes so layd abrode, that they ca not be better: The mast set vp of soch a fashion, that no baner ner sale hageth thero: but there is dealed greate spoyle, yee lame men runne after the pray. |
| 33:24 | There lieth no ma that saieth: I am sick, but all euel is taken awaye from the people, that dwel there. |
