| 34:1 | Come ye Heythen and heare, take hede ye people. Herken thou erth & all that is therin: thou round compasse and all that groweth there vpon: |
| 34:2 | for the Lorde is angry wt all people, and his displeasure is kindled agaynst all the multitude of them, he hath destroied them, & deliuered them to the slaughter. |
| 34:3 | So that their slayne shalbe cast out, and their bodyes stynck: that euen the very hylles shalbe wet wt the bloud of them. |
| 34:4 | All the starres of heauen shall waist, and the heuen shall folde together lyke a roll, and all the starres therof shall fall, lyke as the leaues fall from the vynes and fyggetrees. |
| 34:5 | For my sweard shalbe bathed in heauen, and shall immediatly come downe in iudgment vpon Idumea, and vpon the people which I haue cursed for my vengeaunce. |
| 34:6 | And the Lordes swearde shalbe full of bloude, & be rusty wt the fatnes and bloude of lambes and goates, with the fatnesse of the kidneys of wethers. For the Lord shall kill a great offering in Bozra, & a great slaughter in the lande of Idumea. |
| 34:7 | There shall the vnicornes fall wt them, and the bulles wt the gyauntes: and their lande shalbe thorowely soaked with bloude, & their grounde corrupt with fatnes. |
| 34:8 | Unto the also, O Zion, shall come the daye of the vengeaunce of God, and the yeare when thyne awne iudgmentes shalbe recompensed. |
| 34:9 | And his floudes shalbe turned to pytch, and his earth to brimstone: & there with shall the land be kindled, |
| 34:10 | so that it shall not be quenched daye ner nyght: but smoke euermore, and so forth to lye waste. And no man shall go thorowe it for euer. |
| 34:11 | But pellicanes, storkes, great oules and rauens shall haue it in possession, and dwell therin. For God shall spreede out the lyne of desolation vpon it, & weye it with the stones of emptines. |
| 34:12 | When kynges are called vpon there shalbe none, & all princes shalbe awaye. |
| 34:13 | Thornes shall growe in their palaces, nettels and thistles in their strongholdes, that the dragons may haue their pleasure therin, and that they maye be a court for estryches. |
| 34:14 | There shall straunge visures and monstruous bestes mete one another, and the wylde kepe company together. There shall the lamia lye, & haue her lodging. |
| 34:15 | There shall the oule make her nest, buylde, be there at home and bring forth his yonge ones. There shall the kytes come together, echone to his lyke. |
| 34:16 | Seke thorow the scripture of the Lorde and reade it. There shall none of these thynges be lefte out, there shall not one, ner soche lyke, fayle. For what his mouth commaundeth that same doeth his sprete gather together, or fulfylleth. |
| 34:17 | He hath cast the lot for them, and to those beastes hath his handes deuyded the line: therfore those shall possesse the enherytaunce from generatyon to generatyon, and dwell therin for euer. |

| 34:2 | For whi indignacioun of the Lord is on alle folkis, and strong veniaunce on al the chyualrie of hem; he killide hem, and yaf hem in to sleyng. |
| 34:3 | The slayn men of hem schulen be cast forth, and stynk schal stie of the careyns of hem; hillis schulen flete of the blood of hem. |
| 34:4 | And al the chyualrie of heuenys schal faile, and heuenys schulen be foldid togidere as a book, and al the knyythod of tho schal flete doun, as the leef of a vyner and of a fige tre fallith doun. |
| 34:5 | For my swerd is fillid in heuene; lo! it schal come doun on Ydumee, and on the puple of my sleyng, to doom. |
| 34:6 | The swerd of the Lord is fillid of blood, it is maad fat of the ynner fatnesse of the blood of lambren and of buckis of geet, of the blood of rammes ful of merow; for whi the slayn sacrifice of the Lord is in Bosra, and greet sleyng is in the lond of Edom. |
| 34:7 | And vnycornes schulen go doun with hem, and bolis with hem that ben myyti; the lond of hem schal be fillid with blood, and the erthe of hem with ynnere fatnesse of fatte beestis; |
| 34:8 | for it is a dai of veniaunce of the Lord, a yeer of yeldyng of the dom of Sion. |
| 34:9 | And the strondis therof schulen be turned in to pitche, and the erthe therof in to brymstoon; and the lond therof schal be in to brennyng pitch, niyt and dai. |
| 34:10 | It schal not be quenchid withouten ende, the smoke therof schal stie fro generacioun in to generacioun, and it schal be desolat in to worldis of worldis; noon schal passe therbi. |
| 34:11 | And onocrotalus, and an irchoun schulen welde it; and a capret, and a crowe schulen dwelle therynne; and a mesure schal be stretchid forth theronne, that it be dryuun to nouyt, and an hangynge plomet in to desolacyoun. |
| 34:12 | The noble men therof schulen not be there; rathere thei schulen clepe the kyng in to help, and alle the princes therof schulen be in to nouyt. |
| 34:13 | And thornes and nettlis schulen growe in the housis therof, and a tasil in the strengthis therof; and it schal be the couche of dragouns, and the lesewe of ostrichis. |
| 34:14 | And fendis, and wondurful beestis, lijk men in the hiyere part and lijk assis in the nethir part, and an heeri schulen meete; oon schal crie to an other. |
| 34:15 | Lamya schal ligge there, and foond rest there to hir silf; there an irchoun hadde dichis, and nurschide out whelpis, and diggide aboute, and fostride in the schadewe therof; there kitis weren gaderid togidere, oon to another. |
| 34:16 | Seke ye diligentli in the book of the Lord, and rede ye; oon of tho thingis failide not, oon souyte not another; for he comaundide that thing, that goith forth of my mouth, and his spirit he gaderide tho togidere. |
| 34:17 | And he sente to hem eritage, and his hond departide it in mesure; til in to withouten ende tho schulen welde that lond, in generacioun and in to generacioun tho schulen dwelle ther ynne. |

| 34:6 | And the LORDES swearde shalbe full of bloude, & be rustie with the fatnesse & bloude of lambes and gootes, with the fatnesse of neeres of the wethers. For the LORDE shal kyl a great offringe in Bosra, and in the londe of Idumea. |
| 34:7 | There shal the Vnicornes fall with the Bulles, (that is with the giauntes) and their londe shalbe washed with bloude, & their grounde corrupte with fatnesse. |
| 34:8 | Vnto the also (o Sion) shal come the daye of the vengeaunce of God, and the yeare when as thyne owne iugdmentes shalbe recompensed. |

| 34:16 | Seke thorow the scripture of the LORDE & rede it. There shal none of these thinges be left out, there shal not one (ner soch like) fayle. For what his mouth commaundeth, that same doth his sprete gather together (or fulfilleth). |
| 34:17 | Vpon whom so euer ye lot fallet, or to whom he dealeth it with the line: those shal possesse the enheritaunce from generacion to generacion, and dwel therin. |
