Jeremiah - Chapter: 30


30:1	The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
30:2	Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
30:3	For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
30:4	And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
30:5	For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
30:6	Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
30:7	Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
30:8	For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
30:9	But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
30:10	Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
30:11	For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
30:12	For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.
30:13	There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
30:14	All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
30:15	Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.
30:16	Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
30:17	For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
30:18	Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
30:19	And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
30:20	Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
30:21	And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
30:22	And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
30:23	Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
30:24	The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.


30:1	הדבר אשׁר היה אל ירמיהו מאת יהוה לאמר׃
30:2	כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישׂראל לאמר כתב לך את כל הדברים אשׁר דברתי אליך אל ספר׃
30:3	כי הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה ושׁבתי את שׁבות עמי ישׂראל ויהודה אמר יהוה והשׁבתים אל הארץ אשׁר נתתי לאבותם וירשׁוה׃
30:4	ואלה הדברים אשׁר דבר יהוה אל ישׂראל ואל יהודה׃
30:5	כי כה אמר יהוה קול חרדה שׁמענו פחד ואין שׁלום׃
30:6	שׁאלו נא וראו אם ילד זכר מדוע ראיתי כל גבר ידיו על חלציו כיולדה ונהפכו כל פנים לירקון׃
30:7	הוי כי גדול היום ההוא מאין כמהו ועת צרה היא ליעקב וממנה יושׁע׃
30:8	והיה ביום ההוא נאם יהוה צבאות אשׁבר עלו מעל צוארך ומוסרותיך אנתק ולא יעבדו בו עוד זרים׃
30:9	ועבדו את יהוה אלהיהם ואת דוד מלכם אשׁר אקים להם׃
30:10	ואתה אל תירא עבדי יעקב נאם יהוה ואל תחת ישׂראל כי הנני מושׁיעך מרחוק ואת זרעך מארץ שׁבים ושׁב יעקב ושׁקט ושׁאנן ואין מחריד׃
30:11	כי אתך אני נאם יהוה להושׁיעך כי אעשׂה כלה בכל הגוים אשׁר הפצותיך שׁם אך אתך לא אעשׂה כלה ויסרתיך למשׁפט ונקה לא אנקך׃
30:12	כי כה אמר יהוה אנושׁ לשׁברך נחלה מכתך׃
30:13	אין דן דינך למזור רפאות תעלה אין׃
30:14	כל מאהביך שׁכחוך אותך לא ידרשׁו כי מכת אויב הכיתיך מוסר אכזרי על רב עונך עצמו חטאתיך׃
30:15	מה תזעק על שׁברך אנושׁ מכאבך על רב עונך עצמו חטאתיך עשׂיתי אלה׃
30:16	לכן כל אכליך יאכלו וכל צריך כלם בשׁבי ילכו והיו שׁאסיך למשׁסה וכל בזזיך אתן לבז׃
30:17	כי אעלה ארכה לך וממכותיך ארפאך נאם יהוה כי נדחה קראו לך ציון היא דרשׁ אין׃
30:18	כה אמר יהוה הנני שׁב שׁבות אהלי יעקוב ומשׁכנתיו ארחם ונבנתה עיר על תלה וארמון על משׁפטו ישׁב׃
30:19	ויצא מהם תודה וקול משׂחקים והרבתים ולא ימעטו והכבדתים ולא יצערו׃
30:20	והיו בניו כקדם ועדתו לפני תכון ופקדתי על כל לחציו׃
30:21	והיה אדירו ממנו ומשׁלו מקרבו יצא והקרבתיו ונגשׁ אלי כי מי הוא זה ערב את לבו לגשׁת אלי נאם יהוה׃
30:22	והייתם לי לעם ואנכי אהיה לכם לאלהים׃
30:23	הנה סערת יהוה חמה יצאה סער מתגורר על ראשׁ רשׁעים יחול׃
30:24	לא ישׁוב חרון אף יהוה עד עשׂתו ועד הקימו מזמות לבו באחרית הימים תתבוננו׃


30:1	The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,
30:2	`Thus spake Jehovah, God of Israel, saying, Write for thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee on a book.
30:3	For, lo, days are coming -- an affirmation of Jehovah -- and I have turned back `to' the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, said Jehovah, and I have caused them to turn back unto the land that I gave to their fathers, and they do possess it.'
30:4	And these `are' the words that Jehovah hath spoken concerning Israel and concerning Judah:
30:5	Surely thus said Jehovah: A voice of trembling we have heard, Fear -- and there is no peace.
30:6	Ask, I pray you, and see, is a male bringing forth? Wherefore have I seen every man, His hands on his loins, as a travailing woman, And all faces have been turned to paleness?
30:7	Wo! for great `is' that day, without any like it, Yea, a time of adversity it `is' to Jacob, Yet out of it he is saved.
30:8	And it hath come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, I break his yoke from off thy neck, And thy bands I draw away, And lay no more service on him do strangers.
30:9	And they have served Jehovah their God, And David their king whom I raise up to them.
30:10	And thou, be not afraid, My servant Jacob, An affirmation of Jehovah, Nor be affrighted, O Israel, For, lo, I am saving thee from afar, And thy seed from the land of their captivity, And Jacob hath turned back and rested, And is quiet, and there is none troubling.
30:11	For with thee `am' I, An affirmation of Jehovah -- to save thee, For I make an end of all the nations Whither I have scattered thee, Only, of thee I do not make an end, And I have chastised thee in judgment, And do not entirely acquit thee.
30:12	For thus said Jehovah: Incurable is thy breach, grievous thy stroke,
30:13	There is none judging thy cause to bind up, Healing medicines there are none for thee.
30:14	all loving thee have forgotten thee, Thee they do not seek, For with the stroke of an enemy I smote thee, The chastisement of a fierce one, Because of the abundance of thy iniquity, Mighty have been thy sins!
30:15	What! -- thou criest concerning thy breach! Incurable `is' thy pain, Because of the abundance of thy iniquity, Mighty have been thy sins! I have done these to thee.
30:16	Therefore all consuming thee are consumed, And all thine adversaries -- all of them -- Into captivity do go, And thy spoilers have been for a spoil, And all thy plunderers I give up to plunder.
30:17	For I increase health to thee, And from thy strokes I do heal thee, An affirmation of Jehovah, For `Outcast' they have called to thee, `Zion it `is', there is none seeking for her.'
30:18	Thus said Jehovah: Lo, I turn back `to' the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And his dwelling places I pity, And the city hath been built on its heap, And the palace according to its ordinance remaineth.
30:19	And gone forth from them hath thanksgiving, And the voice of playful ones, And I have multiplied them and they are not few, And made them honourable, and they are not small.
30:20	And his sons have been as aforetime, And his company before Me is established, And I have seen after all his oppressors.
30:21	And his honourable one hath been of himself, And his ruler from his midst goeth forth, And I have caused him to draw near, And he hath drawn nigh unto Me, For who `is' he who hath pledged his heart To draw nigh unto Me? An affirmation of Jehovah.
30:22	And ye have been to Me for a people, And I am to you for God.
30:23	Lo, a whirlwind of Jehovah -- Fury hath gone forth -- a cutting whirlwind, On the head of the wicked it stayeth.
30:24	The fierceness of the anger of Jehovah Doth not turn back till His doing, Yea, till His establishing the devices of His heart, In the latter end of the days we consider it!
