| 4:2 | and hast placed against it a siege, and builded against it a fortification, and poured out against it a mount, and placed against it camps, yea, set thou against it battering-rams round about. |
| 4:3 | And thou, take to thee an iron pan, and thou hast made it a wall of iron between thee and the city; and thou hast prepared thy face against it, and it hath been in a siege, yea, thou hast laid siege against it. A sign it `is' to the house of Israel. |

| 4:13 | And Jehovah saith, `Thus do the sons of Israel eat their defiled bread among the nations whither I drive them.' |
| 4:14 | And I say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, lo, my soul is not defiled, and carcase, and torn thing, I have not eaten from my youth, even till now; nor come into my mouth hath abominable flesh.' |
| 4:15 | And He saith unto me, `See, I have given to thee bullock's dung instead of man's dung, and thou hast made thy bread by it.' |
| 4:16 | And He saith unto me, `Son of man, lo, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they have eaten bread by weight and with fear; and water by measure and with astonishment, they do drink; |
| 4:17 | so that they lack bread and water, and have been astonished one with another, and been consumed in their iniquity. |

| 4:9 | Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof. |
| 4:10 | And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it. |
| 4:11 | Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink. |
| 4:12 | And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight. |
| 4:13 | And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them. |
| 4:14 | Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth. |
| 4:15 | Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith. |
| 4:16 | Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment: |
| 4:17 | That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity. |

| 4:8 | And, behold, I will put cords on you, and you cannot turn from your side to your other side until you have completed the days of your siege. |
| 4:9 | And you, take to yourself wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and place them in a single vessel; and prepare them for yourself into bread, to the number of days that you are lying on your side. You shall eat it three hundred and ninety days. |
| 4:10 | And your food which you shall eat shall be by weight: twenty shekels a day. From time to time you shall eat it. |
| 4:11 | And you shall drink water by measure: the sixth part of a hin. From time to time you shall drink. |
| 4:12 | And you shall eat cakes of barley, and you shall bake it with dung of the excrement of man, in their sight. |
| 4:13 | And Jehovah said, Even so the sons of Israel shall eat their defiled bread among the nations there where I will drive them. |
| 4:14 | Then I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, my soul has not been defiled. I have not even eaten a carcass or a torn animal, from my youth even until now. And unclean flesh has not come into my mouth. |
| 4:15 | Then He said to me, See, I have given to you the dung of cattle in place of the dung of man. And you shall prepare bread over it. |
| 4:16 | And He said to me, Son of man, behold, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem. And they shall eat bread by weight, and with anxiety. And they shall drink water by measure, and in horror, |
| 4:17 | because they will lack bread and water, and each one be appalled with his brother. And they will waste away in their iniquity. |
