| 30:1 | The worde of the Lorde came more ouer vnto me, sayeng: |
| 30:2 | thou sonne of man, prophecye and speake: thus sayeth the Lorde God: Mourne, wo worth this daye, |
| 30:3 | for the daye is here, the daye of the Lord is come: the darke daye of the Heathen, the houre is at hande, |
| 30:4 | the swearde commeth vpon Egypte. When the wounded men fall downe in Egypte, when her people are taken awaye, and when her foundacyons are destroyed, |
| 30:5 | the Moryans lande shall be afrayed, yee, the Moryans lande, Libia and Lidia, all theyr comen people, and Chub, and all that be confederat vnto them, shall fall with them thorow the swearde. |
| 30:6 | Thus sayeth the Lorde: The maynteyners of the lande of Egypte shall fall, the pryde of her power shall come downe euen vnto the tower of Syenes shall they be slayne downe with the swearde, sayeth the Lorde God: |
| 30:7 | amonge other desolate countrees they shalbe made desolate, & amonge other waste cyties they shalbe wasted. |
| 30:8 | And they shall knowe, that I am the Lorde, when I kyndle a fyre in Egypte, and when all her helpers are destroied. |
| 30:9 | At that tyme, shall theyr messaungers go forth from me in shyppes, to make the carelesse Morians afrayed, and sorow shall come vpon them acordinge to the daye of Egypte, for doubtles it shall come. |
| 30:10 | Thus sayeth the Lord God: I wil make an ende of the people of Egypt thorow the hand of Nabuchodonosor the kinge of Babylon. |
| 30:11 | He and his people with him: yee, and the cruell tyrauntes of the Heathen shalbe brought to destroye the lande. They shall drawe out theyr sweardes vpon Egypte, & fyll the lande full of slayne men. |
| 30:12 | I will drye vp theyr floudes of water, and sell the lande into the handes of wicked people. The lande & all that is therin, will I destroye thorow the enemyes. Euen I the Lord haue sayde it. |
| 30:13 | And thus sayeth the Lord God: I will destroye the Idols, and bringe the ymages of Noph to an ende. There shall nomore be a prince of Egypte, & a fearfulnes will I sende into the Egypcians land. |
| 30:14 | As for Pathures, I wyll make it desolate, & kyndle a fyre in Zoan the cyty. No, I punysh, |
| 30:15 | and poure my wrathfull indignacyon vpon Sin, which is the strength of Egypt. All the substaunce of Alexandria will I destroye, |
| 30:16 | and kyndle a fyre in Egypte. Sin shalbe in greate heuynesse, Alexandria shalbe roted out, and Noph shall haue daylye sorow. |
| 30:17 | The best men of Helyopolys and Bubasto shalbe slayne with the swearde, and caryed awaye captyue. |
| 30:18 | At Caphnis the daye shalbe darcke, when I breake there the scepter of the lande of Egypt, & when the pompe of her power shall haue an ende, A cloud shall couer her, and her daughters shalbe led awaye into captiuite. |
| 30:19 | Thus will I punysh Egypt, that they maye knowe how that I am the Lorde. |
| 30:20 | It happened in the eleuenth yeare, vpon the seuenth daye of the fyrst moneth, that the Lordes worde came vnto me, sayenge: |
| 30:21 | Beholde, thou sonne of man, I will breake the arme of Pharao kyng of Egypte: and lo it shall not be bounde vp to be healed, nother shall eny playstre be laied vpon it, for to ease it, or to make it so stronge, as to holde a swearde. |
| 30:22 | Therfore, thus sayeth the Lorde God: Beholde, I will vpon Pharao the king of Egypte, and bruse his stronge arme (yet is it but a broken one) & will smyte the swearde out of his handes. |
| 30:23 | As for the Egypcians. I will scatre them among the Heathen, and strowe them in the landes aboute. |
| 30:24 | Agayne I will strength the arme of the kyng of Babylon, & geue him a sweard in his hand: but I will breake Pharaos arme so that he shall holde it before him pyteously, lyke a wounded man. |
| 30:25 | Yee, I wyll stablysh the kynge of Babilons arme, & the armes of Pharao shall fall downe: that it maye be knowne, that I am the Lord, which geue the kynge of Babylon my swearde in his hand, that he maye drawe it out vpon the lande of Egypte, |
| 30:26 | & that when I scatre the Egypcians amonge the Gentils and strowe them in the landes aboute, they maye knowe, that I am the Lorde. |

| 30:2 | and he seide, Sone of man, profesie thou, and seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, Yelle ye, Wo! |
| 30:3 | wo! to the dai, for the dai is niy; and the dai of the Lord neiyith, the dai of a cloude. The tyme of hethene men schal be; |
| 30:4 | and a swerd schal come in to Egipt, and drede schal be in Ethiopie, whanne woundid men schulen falle doun in Egipt, and the multitude therof schal be takun awei, and the foundementis therof schulen be distried. |
| 30:5 | Ethiopie, and Libie, and Lidiens, and al the residue comyn puple, and Chub, and the sones of the lond of boond of pees schulen falle doun bi swerd with hem. |
| 30:6 | The Lord God seith these thingis, And thei that vndursetten Egipt schulen falle doun, and the pride of the lordschipe therof schal be destried; fro the tour of Sienes thei schulen falle bi swerd ther ynne, seith the Lord of oostis. |
| 30:7 | And thei schulen be distried in the myddis of londis maad desolat, and the citees therof schulen be in the myddis of citees forsakun. |
| 30:8 | And thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God, whanne Y schal yyue fier in Egipt, and alle the helperis therof schulen be al to-brokun. |
| 30:9 | In that dai messangeris schulen go out fro my face in schippis with thre ordris of ooris, to al to-breke the trist of Ethiopie; and drede schal be in hem in the dai of Egipt, for with out doute it schal come. |
| 30:10 | The Lord God seith these thingis, And I schal make to ceesse the multitude of Egipt in the hond of Nabugodonosor, king of Babiloyne. |
| 30:11 | He and his puple with hym, the strongeste men of hethene men, schulen be brouyt, to leese the lond; and thei schulen drawe out her swerdis on Egipt, and thei schulen fille the lond with slayn men. |
| 30:12 | And Y schal make drie the botmes of floodis, and Y schal yyue the lond in the hond of the worste men; and I schal distrie the lond, and the fulnesse therof in the hond of aliens; Y the Lord spak. |
| 30:13 | The Lord God seith these thingis, And Y schal leese simylacris, and Y schal make idols to ceesse fro Memphis, and a duyk of the lond of Egipt schal no more be. And Y schal yyue drede in the lond of Egipt, |
| 30:14 | and Y schal leese the lond of Phatures. And Y schal yyue fier in Tafnys, and Y schal make my domes in Alisaundre. |
| 30:15 | And Y schal schede out myn indignacioun on Pelusyum, the strengthe of Egipt; and Y schal sle the multitude of Alisaundre, |
| 30:16 | and Y schal yyue fier in Egipt. Pelusyum, as a womman trauelynge of child, schal haue sorewe, and Alisaundre schal be destried, and in Memphis schulen be ech daies angwischis. |
| 30:17 | The yonge men of Heliopoleos and of Bubasti schulen falle doun bi swerd, and tho citees schulen be led caitifs. |
| 30:18 | And in Thafnys the dai schal wexe blak, whanne Y schal al to-breke there the ceptris of Egipt, and the pride of the power therof schal faile there ynne. A cloude schal hile it; forsothe the douytris therof schulen be led in to caitifte, and Y schal make domes in Egipt; |
| 30:19 | and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord. |
| 30:20 | And it was doon in the enleuenthe yeer, in the firste monethe, in the seuenthe dai of the moneth, the word of the Lord was maad to me, |
| 30:21 | and he seide, Thou sone of man, Y haue broke the arm of Farao, kyng of Egipt; and lo! it is not wlappid, that helthe schulde be restorid therto, that it schulde be boundun with clothis, and woundun with lynnun clothis, and that he myyte holde swerd, whanne he hadde resseyued strengthe. |
| 30:22 | Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y to Farao, king of Egipt; and Y schal make lesse his strong arm but brokun, and Y schal caste doun the swerd fro his hond. |
| 30:23 | And Y schal scatere Egipt among hethene men, and Y schal wyndewe hem in londis. |
| 30:24 | And Y schal coumforte the armes of the kyng of Babiloyne, and Y schal yyue my swerd in the hond of hym; and Y schal breke the armes of Farao, and men slayn bifore his face schulen weile bi weilyngis. |
| 30:25 | And Y schal coumforte the armes of the kyng of Babiloyne, and the armes of Farao schulen falle doun. And thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal yyue my swerd in the hond of the kyng of Babiloyne; and he schal stretche forth it on the lond of Egipt. |
| 30:26 | And Y schal scatere Egipt in to naciouns, and Y schal wyndewe hem in to londis; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord. |

| 30:5 | the Morians londe shal be afrayed, yee the Morians londe, Lybia & Lydia, all their comon people, & Chub, & all yt be confederate vnto the, shal fall wt the thorow ye swearde. |
| 30:6 | Thus saieth ye LORDE: The maynteyners of the lode of Egipte shall fall, the pryde of hir power shal come downe: eue vnto the tower off Syenes shall they be slayne downe wt the swearde, saieth ye LORDE God: |
