| 34:1 | And the word of ye Lord came vnto me, saying; |
| 34:2 | Sonne of man, prophecie against the shepheards of Israel, prophecie and say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God vnto the shepheards, Woe be to the shepheards of Israel that doe feede themselues: should not the shepheards feede the flockes? |
| 34:3 | Yee eate the fat, and ye clothe you with the wooll, yee kill them that are fed: but ye feede not the flocke. |
| 34:4 | The diseased haue ye not strengthened, neither haue yee healed that which was sicke, neither haue ye bound vp that which was broken, neither haue yee brought againe that which was driuen away, neither haue yee sought that which was lost; but with force and with crueltie haue yee ruled them. |
| 34:5 | And they were scattered because there is no shepheard: and they became meate to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. |
| 34:6 | My sheepe wandered through all the mountaines, and vpon euery high hill: yea my flocke was scattered vpon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seeke after them. |
| 34:7 | Therefore, yee shepheards, heare the word of the Lord. |
| 34:8 | As I liue, saith the Lord God, surely because my flocke became a pray, and my flocke became meate to euery beast of the field, because there was no shepheard, neither did my shepheards search for my flocke, but the shepheards fed themselues, and fed not my flocke: |
| 34:9 | Therefore, O yee shepheards, heare the word of the Lord. |
| 34:10 | Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I am against the shepheards, and I will require my flocke at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flocke, neither shall the shepheards feede themselues any more: for I will deliuer my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. |
| 34:11 | For thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I, euen I will both search my sheepe, and seeke them out. |
| 34:12 | As a shepheard seeketh out his flocke in the day that hee is among his sheepe that are scattered: so wil I seeke out my sheep, and will deliuer them out of all places, where they haue bene scattered in the cloudie and darke day. |
| 34:13 | And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countreys, and will bring them to their owne land, and feede them vpon the mountaines of Israel by the riuers, and in all the inhabited places of the countrey, |
| 34:14 | I will feede them in a good pasture, and vpon the high mountaines of Israel shall their folde be: there shall they lie in a good folde, and in a fat pasture shall they feede vpon the mountaines of Israel. |
| 34:15 | I will feed my flocke, and I will cause them to lie downe, saith the Lord God. |
| 34:16 | I will seeke that which was lost, and bring againe that which was driuen away, and will bind vp that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sicke: but I will destroy the fat and the strong, I will feed them with iudgement. |
| 34:17 | And as for you, O my flocke, thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I iudge betweene cattell and cattell, betweene the rammes and the hee goates. |
| 34:18 | Seemeth it a small thing vnto you, to haue eaten vp the good pasture, but ye must tread downe with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to haue drunke of the deepe waters, but yee must fonle the residue with your feete? |
| 34:19 | And as for my flocke, they eate that which yee haue troden with your feete: and they drinke that which yee haue fouled with your feete. |
| 34:20 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God vnto them, Behold, I, euen I will iudge betweene the fat cattell, and betweene the leane cattell. |
| 34:21 | Because yee haue thrust with side and with shoulder, and pusht all the diseased with your hornes, till yee haue scattered them abroad: |
| 34:22 | Therefore will I saue my flocke, and they shall no more be a pray, and I will iudge betweene cattell and cattell. |
| 34:23 | And I will set vp one shepheard ouer them, and hee shall feede them, euen my seruant Dauid; he shall feede them, and hee shall be their shepheard. |
| 34:24 | And I the Lord will be their God, and my seruant Dauid a prince among them, I the Lord haue spoken it. |
| 34:25 | And I will make with them a couenant of peace, and will cause the euill beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wildernesse, and sleepe in the woods. |
| 34:26 | And I will make them and the places round about my hill, a blessing; and I will cause the showre to come downe in his season: there shall bee showres of blessing. |
| 34:27 | And the tree of the field shal yeeld her fruite, and the earth shall yeeld her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I haue broken the bands of their yoke, and deliuered them out of the hand of those that serued themselues of them. |
| 34:28 | And they shall no more be a pray to the heathen, neither shall the beasts of the land deuoure them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraide. |
| 34:29 | And I will raise vp for them a plant of renowne, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither beare the shame of the heathen any more. |
| 34:30 | Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, euen the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God. |
| 34:31 | And yee my flocke of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God. |
| 34:1 | And the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying, |
| 34:2 | Sonne of man, prophesie against the shepherdes of Israel, prophesie and say vnto them, Thus saieth the Lord God vnto the shepherds, Wo be vnto the shepherds of Israel, that feede them selues: should not the shepherds feede the flockes? |
| 34:3 | Yee eate the fat, and yee clothe you with the wooll: yee kill them that are fed, but ye feede not the sheepe. |
| 34:4 | The weake haue ye not strengthened: the sicke haue ye not healed, neither haue ye bounde vp the broken, nor brought againe that which was driuen away, neither haue yee sought that which was lost, but with crueltie, and with rigour haue yee ruled them. |
| 34:5 | And they were scattered without a shepherde: and when they were dispersed, they were deuoured of all the beastes of the fielde. |
| 34:6 | My sheepe wandred through all the mountaines, and vpon euery hie hill: yea, my flocke was scattered through al the earth, and none did seeke or search after them. |
| 34:7 | Therefore ye shepherds, heare the woorde of the Lord. |
| 34:8 | As I liue, sayeth the Lord God, surely because my flocke was spoyled, and my sheepe were deuoured of all the beasts of the fielde, hauing no shepherde, neither did my shepherdes seeke my sheepe, but the shepherdes fedde them selues, and fedde not my sheepe, |
| 34:9 | Therefore, heare ye the word of the Lord, O ye shepherds. |
| 34:10 | Thus saieth the Lord God, Behold, I come against the shepherds, and will require my sheepe at their hands, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheepe: neither shall the shepherds feede them selues any more: for I wil deliuer my sheepe from their mouthes, and they shall no more deuoure them. |
| 34:11 | For thus sayeth the Lord God, Beholde, I will search my sheepe, and seeke them out. |
| 34:12 | As a shepherd searcheth out his flocke, when he hath bene among his sheepe that are scattered, so wil I seeke out my sheepe and wil deliuer them out of all places, where they haue beene scattered in the cloudie and darke day, |
| 34:13 | And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countreis, and will bring them to their owne lande, and feede them vpon the mountaines of Israel, by the riuers, and in all the inhabited places of the countrey. |
| 34:14 | I will feede them in a good pasture, and vpon the hie mountaines of Israel shall their folde be: there shall they lie in a good folde and in fat pasture shall they feede vpon the mountaines of Israel. |
| 34:15 | I will feede my sheepe, and bring them to their rest, sayth the Lord God. |
| 34:16 | I will seeke that which was lost, and bring againe that which was driue away, and will binde vp that which was broken, and will strengthen the weake but I wil destroy the fat and the strong, and I will feede them with iudgement. |
| 34:17 | Also you my sheepe, Thus saieth the Lord God, behold, I iudge betweene sheepe, and sheepe, betweene the rammes and the goates. |
| 34:18 | Seemeth it a small thing vnto you to haue eaten vp the good pasture, but yee must treade downe with your feete the residue of your pasture? and to haue drunke of the deepe waters, but yee must trouble the residue with your feete? |
| 34:19 | And my sheepe eate that which yee haue troden with your feete, and drinke that which ye haue troubled with your feete. |
| 34:20 | Therefore thus sayth the Lord God vnto them, behold, I, euen I wil iudge betweene the fat sheepe and the leane sheepe. |
| 34:21 | Because ye haue thrust with side and with shoulder, and pusht al the weake with your hornes, till ye haue scattered them abroade, |
| 34:22 | Therefore wil I helpe my sheepe, and they shall no more be spoyled, and I wil iudge betweene sheepe and sheepe. |
| 34:23 | And I wil set vp a shepherd ouer them, and he shall feede them, euen my seruant Dauid, he shall feede them, and he shalbe their shepherd. |
| 34:24 | And I the Lord will be their God, and my seruant Dauid shalbe the prince amog them. I the Lord haue spoken it. |
| 34:25 | And I will make with them a couenant of peace, and will cause the euil beastes to cease out of the land: and they shall dwel safely in the wildernesse, and sleepe in the woods. |
| 34:26 | And I wil set them, as a blessing, euen roud about my mountaine: and I will cause rayne to come downe in due season, and there shalbe raine of blessing. |
| 34:27 | And the tree of the fielde shall yeeld her fruite, and the earth shall giue her fruite, and they shalbe safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I haue broken the cordes of their yoke, and deliuered them out of the hands of those that serued themselues of them. |
| 34:28 | And they shall no more be spoyled of the heathen, neither shall the beastes of the land deuoure them, but they shall dwell safely and none shall make them afrayd. |
| 34:29 | And I will rayse vp for them a plant of renoume, and they shalbe no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither beare the reproche of the heathen any more. |
| 34:30 | Thus shall they vnderstande, that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, euen the house of Israel, are my people, sayth the Lord God. |
| 34:31 | And yee my sheepe, the sheepe of my pasture are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God. |
| 34:1 | And the worde of the Lorde came vnto me, sayinge. |
| 34:2 | Thou sonne of man, prophecye agaynst the shepherdes of Israel, prophecy and speake vnto them. Thus sayeth the Lord God. Wo be vnto the shepherdes of Israell, that fede them selues. Shulde not the shepherdes fede the flockes? |
| 34:3 | Ye haue eaten vp the fatt, ye haue clothed you with the woll: the best fedde haue ye slayne, but the flocke haue ye not norished. |
| 34:4 | The weake haue ye not holden vp the sicke haue ye not healed: the broken haue ye not bounde together, the out castes haue ye not brought agayne: the lost haue ye not sought, but churlishly & cruelly haue ye ruled them. |
| 34:5 | Thus are they scatred here & there without a shepherde: yee, all the beastes of the feld deuoure them, and they go astraye. |
| 34:6 | My shepe go wandring vpon all mountaynes and vpon euery hye hyll. Yee, they be scatred abrode in all feldes, and there is no man, that careth for them, or seketh after them. |
| 34:7 | Therfore, O ye shepherdes, heare the worde of the Lorde. |
| 34:8 | Thus sayeth the Lord God: As truly as I lyue, for so moch as my shepe are robbed, and deuoured of all the wylde beastes of the felde, hauynge no shepherde: and seinge that my shepherdes take no regarde of my shepe, but fede them selues onely, and not my shepe. |
| 34:9 | Therfore, heare the worde of the Lord (O ye shepherdes) |
| 34:10 | Thus sayeth the Lord God: Beholde, I my selfe wyll vpon the shepherdes: and require my shepe from their handes, and make them ceasse from fedynge of my shepe: yee, the shepherdes shall fede them selues nomore. For I wyll deliuer my shepe out of their mouthes, so that they shall not deuoure them after this. |
| 34:11 | For thus sayeth the Lorde God: Beholde, I wyll loke to my shepe my selfe, and seke them. |
| 34:12 | Like as a shepherde among the flocke seketh after the shepe that are scatered abroade, euen so wil I seke after my shepe, & gather them together out of all places, where they haue bene scatred in the cloudy and darcke daye. |
| 34:13 | I will bringe them out from all people, and gather them together out of all landes. I will bringe them into their awne lande, and fede them vpon the mountaines of Israel, by the ryuers, and in all the places of the countre. |
| 34:14 | I will fede them in ryght good pastures and vpon the hie mountaynes of Israel shall there foldes be. There shal they lye in a good folde, and in a fat pasture shal they fede: euen vpon the mountaynes of Israell. |
| 34:15 | I will fede my shepe my selfe, and bringe them to their rest, sayeth the Lorde God. |
| 34:16 | Soch as be lost, will I seke: soch as go astraye: will I bring agayne: soch as be wounded, will I bynde vp: soch as be weake, will I make strong: soch as be fat & stronge, those will I rote oute, and fede them with the thing that is laufull. |
| 34:17 | And as for you (O my shepe) sayeth the Lorde God. I wyll put a difference amonge the shepe, among the wethers & the goates. |
| 34:18 | Was it not ynough for you, to eate vp the good pasture, but ye must treade downe the residue of youre pasture wt your fete also? Was it not ynough for you to drincke cleare water, but ye must trouble the residue also with youre fete? |
| 34:19 | Thus my shepe must be fayne to eate the thinge, that ye haue troden downe wt youre fete, and to drincke it, that ye with your fete haue defiled. |
| 34:20 | Therfore, thus sayeth the Lord God vnto them: Beholde, I wyll seuer the fatt shepe from the leane: |
| 34:21 | for so moch as ye haue shot the weake shepe vpon the sydes & shoulders, and runne vpon them with your hornes, so longe tyll ye haue vtterly scatred them abrode. |
| 34:22 | I will helpe my shepe, so that they shal nomore be spoyled: yee, I will discerne one shepe from another. |
| 34:23 | I wyll rayse vp vnto them one onely shepherde, euen my seruaunt Dauid, he shall fede them and he shall be their shepherde. |
| 34:24 | I the Lorde will be their God, and my seruaunt Dauid shall be their prince: Euen I the Lorde haue spoken it. |
| 34:25 | Moreouer, I wyll make a couenaunt of peace with them and dryue al euell beastes out of the lande: so that they maye dwell safely in the wildernesse, and slepe in the woddes. |
| 34:26 | Good fortune and prosperite will I geue them, and vnto all that be rounde aboute my hyll. A prosperous shower and rayne will I sende them in due season, |
| 34:27 | that the trees in the wodde maye bring forth their frutes and the grounde her increase. They shalbe safe in their lande, and shall knowe, that I am the Lord, which haue broken their yock and deliuered them oute of the handes of those, that helde them in subieccyon. |
| 34:28 | They shal nomore be spoyled of the Heathen, ner deuoured wyth the beastes of the lande: but safely shal they dwell, and no man shall fraye them, |
| 34:29 | I will set vp an excellent plante for them, so that they shall suffre nomore hunger in the lande, nether beare the reprofe of the Heathen eny more. |
| 34:30 | Thus shall they vnderstande, that I the Lorde theyr God am with them, and that they (euen the house of Israel) are my people saieth the Lorde God. |
| 34:31 | Ye men are my flocke ye are the shepe of my pasture: and I am youre God, sayeth the Lorde God. |
