| 39:1 | Therefore thou sonne of man, prophecie against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee O Gog, the chiefe prince of Meshech & Tubal. |
| 39:2 | And I will turne thee backe, and leaue but the sixt part of thee, and will cause thee to come vp from the North parts, and will bring thee vpon the mountaines of Israel: |
| 39:3 | And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrowes to fall out of thy right hand. |
| 39:4 | Thou shalt fall vpon the mountaines of Israel, thou & all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will giue thee vnto the rauenous birds of euery sort, and to the beasts of the field to be deuoured. |
| 39:5 | Thou shalt fall vpon the open field, for I haue spoken it, saith the Lord God. |
| 39:6 | And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelesly in the yles, and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 39:7 | So will I make my holy Name knowen in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let them pollute my holy Name any more, and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the holy One in Israel. |
| 39:8 | Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God, this is the day whereof I haue spoken. |
| 39:9 | And they that dwell in the cities of Israel, shall goe forth, and shall set on fire, and burne the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bowes and the arrowes, and the handstaues and the speares, and they shall burne them with fire seuen yeeres. |
| 39:10 | So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut downe any out of the forrests: for they shall burne the weapons with fire, and they shall spoile those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord God. |
| 39:11 | And it shal come to passe at that day, that I will giue vnto Gog a place there of graues in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the East of the Sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers, and there shall they burie Gog, and all his multitude, and they shal call it, the valley of Hamon-gog. |
| 39:12 | And seuen moneths shall the house of Israel bee burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. |
| 39:13 | Yea all the people of the land shall burie them, and it shall be to them a renowne the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord God. |
| 39:14 | And they shall seuer out men of continual emploiment, passing through the land, to burie with the passengers those that remaine vpon the face of the earth to clense it: after the end of seuen moneths shall they search. |
| 39:15 | And the passengers that passe through the lande, when any seeth a mans bone, then shall he set vp a signe by it, till the buriers haue buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog. |
| 39:16 | And also the name of the citie shall be Hamonah: thus shal they clense the land. |
| 39:17 | And thou sonne of man, Thus saith the Lord God, Speake vnto euery feathered foule, and to euery beast of the field, Assemble your selues, and come, gather your selues on euery side to my sacrifice that I doe sacrifice for you, euen a great sacrifice vpon the mountaines of Israel, that ye may eat flesh and drinke blood. |
| 39:18 | Ye shall eate the flesh of the mightie, and drinke the blood of the princes of the earth, of rammes, of lambes and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. |
| 39:19 | And yee shall eate fat till yee be full, and drinke blood till yee be drunken, of my sacrifice which I haue sacrificed for you. |
| 39:20 | Thus yee shall be filled at my table with horses and charets, with mightie men, and with all men of warre, saith the Lord God. |
| 39:21 | And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shal see my iudgement that I haue executed, and my hande that I haue laid vpon them. |
| 39:22 | So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward. |
| 39:23 | And the heathen shall knowe that the house of Israel went into captiuitie for their iniquitie: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gaue them into the hand of their enemies; so fell they all by the sword. |
| 39:24 | According to their vncleannesse, and according to their transgressions haue I done vnto them, and hid my face from them. |
| 39:25 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Now will I bring againe the captiuitie of Iacob, and haue mercie vpon the whole house of Israel, and will be ielous for my holy Name: |
| 39:26 | After that they haue borne their shame, and all their trespasses, wherby they haue trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their lande, and none made them afraid. |
| 39:27 | When I haue brought them againe from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; |
| 39:28 | Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captiuitie among the heathen: but I haue gathered them vnto their owne land, and haue left none of them any more there. |
| 39:29 | Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I haue powred out my Spirit vpon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God. |

| 39:12 | And seuen moneths long shall the house of Israel be burying of the, that they may clense the land. |
| 39:13 | Yea, all the people of the lande shall burie them, and they shall haue a name when I shall be glorified, saith the Lord God. |
| 39:14 | And they shall chuse out men to goe continually through the lande with them that trauaile, to bury those that remaine vpon ye ground, and clense it: they shall search to the ende of seuen moneths. |
| 39:15 | And the trauailers that passe through the land, if any see a mans bone, then shall he set vp a signe by it, till the buriers haue buried it, in the valley of Hamon-Gog. |
| 39:16 | And also the name of the citie shalbe Hamonah: thus shall they clense the land. |

| 39:3 | As for thy bowe, I will smyte it out of thy left hande, and cast thyne arowes out of thy ryght hande. |
| 39:4 | Thou with all thine heape, and all the people that is wt the, must fall vpon the mountaynes of Israell. Then will I geue the vnto foules and wilde beastes of the felde, to be deuoured: |
| 39:5 | there must thou lye vpon the felde: for euen I the Lord haue spoken it, sayeth the Lord God. |
| 39:6 | Into Magog, and among those that syt so carelesse in the Iles: will I send a fyre, & they shal knowe, that I am the Lord, |
| 39:7 | I wil make also the name of my holinesse to be knowne among my people of Israel: and I will not let my holy name be euel spoken of enymore: but the very Heathen also shall knowe, that I am the Lord, the holy one of Israel. |
| 39:8 | Beholde, it commeth, and shalbe fulfilled in dede, sayeth the Lord God. This is the daye wherof I haue spoken. |
| 39:9 | They that dwel in the cities of Israell, shall go forth and set fyre vpon the weapens, and burne them: shyldes and speres, bowes and arowes, bylles & clubbes: seuen yeares shal they be burnynge therof, |
| 39:10 | so that they shal els bringe no stickes from the felde, nether haue nede to hewe downe eny out of the wodde. For they shal haue weapens ynowe to burne. They shal robbe those that robbed them, & spoyle those that spoyled them sayeth the Lord God. |
| 39:11 | At the same tyme wil I geue vnto God, a place to be buried in Israel, euen the valley, where thorow men go from the east to the see warde. Those that trauayle therby, shall stoppe ther noses for stenche. There shall Gog & all hys people be buried: and it shalbe called the valley of the people of God. |
| 39:12 | Seuen monethes longe shall the house of Israell be buryenge of them that they maye clense the lande. |
| 39:13 | Yee, all the people of the lande shall burie them. O, it shall be a glorious daye, when I gett me that honoure, saieth the Lord God. |
| 39:14 | They shal ordeyne men also to be deed buriers, euer goynge thorow the lande, & appoynte them certayne places to bury those in, which remayne vpon the felde, that the lande maye be clensed. From ende to ende shall they seke, & that seuen monethes longe. |
| 39:15 | Now those that go thorow the lande, where they se a mans bone, they shalt set vp a token by it, tyll the deed buryers haue buried it also, in the valley of the people of Gog. |
| 39:16 | And the name of the citie shalbe called, hamonah (that is a multitude.) Thus shall they make the lande clene. |
| 39:17 | And thou sonne of man: thus sayeth the Lord God. Speake vnto all the foules and euery byrde, yee, and to al the wilde beastes of the felde, heape you together and come, gather you rounde aboute vpon my slaughter, that I haue slayne for you: euen a greate slaughter vpon the mountaynes of Israell eate flesh and drincke bloude. |
| 39:18 | Ye shall eate the flesh of the worthies, & drinke the bloud of the princes of the lande: of the wethers, of the lambes, of the goates, and of the oxen that be all slayne at Basan. |
| 39:19 | Eate the fat your belyfull, and drincke bloude, tyll ye be dronken of the slaughter, whych I haue slayne vnto you. |
| 39:20 | Fill you at my table with horses and stronge horsmen: with captaynes and men of warre, sayeth the Lord God. |
| 39:21 | I will bringe my glory also amonge the Gentyles, that all the heathen maye se my iudgement, that I haue kepte, and my hand which I haue layed vpon them: |
| 39:22 | that the house of Israell maye knowe, how that I am the Lord their God from that daye forth. |
| 39:23 | And the heathen shall knowe, that where as the house of Israell were led into captiuyte: it was for their wyckednes sake, because they offended me. For the which cause I hyd my face from them, and delyuered them into the handes of their enemies, that they might all be slaine with the swearde. |
| 39:24 | Accordinge to their vnclennesse & vnfaithfull dealinges, so haue I entreated them, and hyd my face from them. |
| 39:25 | Therfore, thus sayeth the Lord God: Now will I bringe agayne the captiues of Iacob & haue mercy vpon the whole house of Israel, and be gelous for my holy names sak |
| 39:26 | All their confusion and offence that they haue done agaynst me shall be taken awaye: & so safely shal they dwell in their lande, that no man shall make them afrayed. |
| 39:27 | And when I haue brought them agayne from amonge the people, when I haue gathered them together out of their enemies landes, & am praysed in them before many Heathen: |
| 39:28 | then shal they knowe, that I am the Lord their God which suffred them to be led into captiuite amonge the Heathen, but now haue I brought them agayne into their awne lande, and not left one of them yonder. |
| 39:29 | After that, will I hyde my face nomore from them but will poure out my sprete vpon the house of Israell, sayeth the Lorde God. |
