| 39:1 | Therfore, O thou sonne of man, prophecie agaynst Gog, and speake. Thus sayeth the Lorde God: Beholde O Gog: thou chefe prince at Mesech and Tubal, I wyll vpon the, |
| 39:2 | and punyshe the with sixe plages, & leade the from the north partes, and bring the vp to the mountaines of Israell. |
| 39:3 | As for thy bowe, I will smyte it out of thy left hande, and cast thyne arowes out of thy ryght hande. |
| 39:4 | Thou with all thine heape, and all the people that is wt the, must fall vpon the mountaynes of Israell. Then will I geue the vnto foules and wilde beastes of the felde, to be deuoured: |
| 39:5 | there must thou lye vpon the felde: for euen I the Lord haue spoken it, sayeth the Lord God. |
| 39:6 | Into Magog, and among those that syt so carelesse in the Iles: will I send a fyre, & they shal knowe, that I am the Lord, |
| 39:7 | I wil make also the name of my holinesse to be knowne among my people of Israel: and I will not let my holy name be euel spoken of enymore: but the very Heathen also shall knowe, that I am the Lord, the holy one of Israel. |
| 39:8 | Beholde, it commeth, and shalbe fulfilled in dede, sayeth the Lord God. This is the daye wherof I haue spoken. |
| 39:9 | They that dwel in the cities of Israell, shall go forth and set fyre vpon the weapens, and burne them: shyldes and speres, bowes and arowes, bylles & clubbes: seuen yeares shal they be burnynge therof, |
| 39:10 | so that they shal els bringe no stickes from the felde, nether haue nede to hewe downe eny out of the wodde. For they shal haue weapens ynowe to burne. They shal robbe those that robbed them, & spoyle those that spoyled them sayeth the Lord God. |
| 39:11 | At the same tyme wil I geue vnto God, a place to be buried in Israel, euen the valley, where thorow men go from the east to the see warde. Those that trauayle therby, shall stoppe ther noses for stenche. There shall Gog & all hys people be buried: and it shalbe called the valley of the people of God. |
| 39:12 | Seuen monethes longe shall the house of Israell be buryenge of them that they maye clense the lande. |
| 39:13 | Yee, all the people of the lande shall burie them. O, it shall be a glorious daye, when I gett me that honoure, saieth the Lord God. |
| 39:14 | They shal ordeyne men also to be deed buriers, euer goynge thorow the lande, & appoynte them certayne places to bury those in, which remayne vpon the felde, that the lande maye be clensed. From ende to ende shall they seke, & that seuen monethes longe. |
| 39:15 | Now those that go thorow the lande, where they se a mans bone, they shalt set vp a token by it, tyll the deed buryers haue buried it also, in the valley of the people of Gog. |
| 39:16 | And the name of the citie shalbe called, hamonah (that is a multitude.) Thus shall they make the lande clene. |
| 39:17 | And thou sonne of man: thus sayeth the Lord God. Speake vnto all the foules and euery byrde, yee, and to al the wilde beastes of the felde, heape you together and come, gather you rounde aboute vpon my slaughter, that I haue slayne for you: euen a greate slaughter vpon the mountaynes of Israell eate flesh and drincke bloude. |
| 39:18 | Ye shall eate the flesh of the worthies, & drinke the bloud of the princes of the lande: of the wethers, of the lambes, of the goates, and of the oxen that be all slayne at Basan. |
| 39:19 | Eate the fat your belyfull, and drincke bloude, tyll ye be dronken of the slaughter, whych I haue slayne vnto you. |
| 39:20 | Fill you at my table with horses and stronge horsmen: with captaynes and men of warre, sayeth the Lord God. |
| 39:21 | I will bringe my glory also amonge the Gentyles, that all the heathen maye se my iudgement, that I haue kepte, and my hand which I haue layed vpon them: |
| 39:22 | that the house of Israell maye knowe, how that I am the Lord their God from that daye forth. |
| 39:23 | And the heathen shall knowe, that where as the house of Israell were led into captiuyte: it was for their wyckednes sake, because they offended me. For the which cause I hyd my face from them, and delyuered them into the handes of their enemies, that they might all be slaine with the swearde. |
| 39:24 | Accordinge to their vnclennesse & vnfaithfull dealinges, so haue I entreated them, and hyd my face from them. |
| 39:25 | Therfore, thus sayeth the Lord God: Now will I bringe agayne the captiues of Iacob & haue mercy vpon the whole house of Israel, and be gelous for my holy names sak |
| 39:26 | All their confusion and offence that they haue done agaynst me shall be taken awaye: & so safely shal they dwell in their lande, that no man shall make them afrayed. |
| 39:27 | And when I haue brought them agayne from amonge the people, when I haue gathered them together out of their enemies landes, & am praysed in them before many Heathen: |
| 39:28 | then shal they knowe, that I am the Lord their God which suffred them to be led into captiuite amonge the Heathen, but now haue I brought them agayne into their awne lande, and not left one of them yonder. |
| 39:29 | After that, will I hyde my face nomore from them but will poure out my sprete vpon the house of Israell, sayeth the Lorde God. |

| 39:2 | And Y schal lede thee aboute, and Y schal disseyue thee, and Y schal make thee to stie fro the sidis of the north, and Y schal brynge thee on the hillis of Israel. |
| 39:3 | And Y schal smyte thi bouwe in thi left hond, and Y schal caste doun thin arowis fro thi riyt hond. |
| 39:4 | Thou schalt falle doun on the hillis of Israel, thou, and alle thi cumpenyes, and puplis that ben with thee; Y yaf thee for to be deuourid to wielde beestis, to briddis, and to ech volatil, and to the beestis of erthe. |
| 39:5 | Thou schalt falle doun on the face of the feeld; for Y the Lord haue spoke, seith the Lord God. |
| 39:6 | And Y schal sende fier in Magog, and in hem that dwellen tristili in ilis; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God of Israel. |
| 39:7 | And Y schal make myn hooli name knowun in the myddis of my puple Israel, and Y schal no more defoule myn hooli name; and hethene men schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God, the hooli of Israel. |
| 39:8 | Lo! it cometh, and it is don, seith the Lord God. |
| 39:9 | This is the day of which Y spak. And dwelleris schulen go out of the citees of Israel, and thei schulen set a fier, and schulen brenne armuris, scheeld and spere, bouwe and arowis, and stauys of hond, and schaftis with out irun; and thei schulen brenne tho in fier bi seuene yeer. |
| 39:10 | And thei schulen not bere trees of cuntries, nether schulen kitte doun of forestis, for thei schulen brenne armuris bi fier; and thei schulen take preies of hem, to whiche thei weren preies, and thei schulen rauysche her wasteris, seith the Lord God. |
| 39:11 | And it schal be in that dai, Y schal yyue to Gog a named place, a sepulcre in Israel, the valei of weigoeris at the eest of the see, that schal make hem that passen forth for to wondre; and thei schulen birie there Gog, and al the multitude of hym, and it schal be clepid the valei of the multitude of Gog. |

| 39:15 | and thei schulen cumpas goynge aboute the lond; and whanne thei schulen se the boon of a man, thei schulen sette a `notable signe bisidis it, til the birieris of careyns birie it in the valei of the multitude of Gog. |

| 39:17 | Forsothe, thou, sone of man, the Lord God seith these thingis, Seie thou to ech brid, and to alle foulis, and to alle beestis of the feeld, Come ye to gidere, and haste ye, renne ye togidere on ech side to my sacrifice, which Y sle to you, a greet sacrifice on the hillis of Israel, that ye ete fleischis and drynke blood. |
| 39:18 | Ye schulen ete the fleischis of stronge men, and ye schulen drynke the blood of prynces of erthe, of wetheris, of lambren, and of buckis of geet, and of bolis, and of beestis maad fat, and of alle fat thingis. |
| 39:19 | And ye schulen ete the ynnere fatnesse in to fulnesse, and ye schulen drynke the blood in to drunkenesse, of the sacrifice which Y schal sle to you. |
| 39:20 | And ye schulen be fillid on my boord, of hors, and of strong horse man, and of alle men werriours, seith the Lord God. |
| 39:21 | And Y schal clepe togidere a swerd ayens hym in alle myn hillis, seith the Lord God; the swerd of ech man schal be dressid ayens his brother. |
| 39:22 | And thanne Y schal deme hym bi pestilence, and blood, and greet reyn, and bi greet stoonys; Y schal reyn fier and brymstoon on hym, and on his oost, and on many puplis that ben with hym. |
| 39:23 | And Y schal be magnefied, and Y shal be halewid, and Y shal be knowun bifore the iyen of many folkis; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord. |
| 39:24 | Bi the unclennes and greet trespasse of hem Y dide to hem, and Y hidde my face fro hem. |
| 39:25 | Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Now Y schal leede ayen the caitiftee of Jacob, and Y schal haue merci on al the hous of Israel; and Y schal take feruoure for myn hooli name. |
| 39:26 | And thei schulen bere here schenschipe, and al the trespassing bi which thei trespassiden ayens me, whanne thei dwelliden in her lond tristili, and dredden no man; |
| 39:27 | and whanne Y schal bringe hem ayen fro puplis, and schal gadere fro the londis of her enemyes, and schal be halewid in hem, bifor the iyen of ful many folkis. |
| 39:28 | And thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God of hem, for that Y translatide hem in to naciouns, and haue gaderid hem on her lond, and Y lefte not ony of hem there. |
