Ezekiel - Chapter: 43

>
43:1Afterward he brought me to the gate, euen the gate that looketh toward the East.
43:2And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the East: and his voice was like a noise of many waters, and the earth shined with his glory.
43:3And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, euen according to the vision that I saw, when I came to destroy the citie: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the riuer Chebar: and I fell vpon my face.
43:4And the glorie of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate, whose prospect is toward the East.
43:5So the Spirit tooke me vp, and brought mee into the inner court, and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.
43:6And I heard him speaking vnto me out of the house, & the man stood by me.
43:7And he said vnto me, Sonne of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feete, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for euer, and my holy Name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredome, nor by the carkeises of their kings in their high places.
43:8In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my postes, and the wall betweene me and them, they haue euen defiled my holy Name by their abominations that they haue committed: wherefore I haue consumed them in mine anger.
43:9Now let them put away their whoredome, and the carkeises of their kings farre from me, and I wil dwell in the middest of them for euer.
43:10Thou sonne of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities, and let them measure the patterne.
43:11And if they be ashamed of all that they haue done; shew them the forme of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the commings in thereof, and all the formes thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the formes thereof, and all the lawes thereof: & write it in their sight, that they may keepe the whole forme thereof, and all the Ordinances therof, and doe them.
43:12This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountaine, the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy: behold, this is the law of the house.
43:13And these are the measures of the Altar after the cubites; the cubite is a cubite and an hand breadth, euen the bottom shalbe a cubite, and the breadth a cubite, and the border thereof by the edge therof round about shalbe a spanne, and this shalbe the higher place of the Altar.
43:14And from the bottom vpon the ground, euen to the lower settle, shalbe two cubits, and the breadth one cubite, and from the lesser settle euen to the greater settle shalbe foure cubites, and the breadth one cubite.
43:15So the Altar shalbe foure cubites, and from the altar and vpward shalbe foure hornes.
43:16And the altar shalbe twelue cubites long, twelue broad, square in the foure squares thereof.
43:17And the settle shall bee fourteene cubites long, and fourteene broad in the foure squares thereof, and the border about it shalbe halfe a cubite, and the bottome thereof shall be a cubite about, and his staires shall looke toward the East.
43:18And he said vnto me, Sonne of man, thus saith the Lord God, These are the ordinances of the Altar in the day when they shall make it to offer burnt offrings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
43:19And thou shalt giue to the Priests the Leuites that be of the seede of Zadok, which approch vnto me, to minister vnto me, saith the Lord God, a yong bullocke for a sinne offering.
43:20And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the foure hornes of it, and on the foure corners of the settle, and vpon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
43:21Thou shalt take the bullocke also of the sinne offering, and he shall burne it in the appointed place of the house without the Sanctuary.
43:22And on the second day thou shalt offer a kidde of the goats without blemish for a sinne offering, and they shall cleanse the Altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullocke.
43:23When thou hast made an ende of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a yong bullocke without blemish, and a ramme out of the flocke, without blemish.
43:24And thou shalt offer them before the Lord, and the Priests shall cast salt vpon them, and they shall offer them vp for a burnt offering vnto the Lord.
43:25Seuen dayes shalt thou prepare euery day a goate for a sinne offering: they shall also prepare a yong bullocke, and a ramme out of the flocke, without blemish.
43:26Seuen dayes shal they purge the Altar and purifie it, and they shall consecrate themselues.
43:27And when these dayes are expired, it shall be that vpon the eight day and so forward, the Priests shall make your burnt offerings vpon the Altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.

43:1Afterward he brought me to the gate, euen the gate that turneth towarde the East.
43:2And beholde, the glorie of the God of Israel came from out of the East, whose voyce was like a noyse of great waters, and the earth was made light with his glorie.
43:3And the vision which I saw was like the vision, euen as the vision that I sawe when I came to destroy the citie: and the visions were like the vision that I sawe by the riuer Chebar: and I fell vpon my face.
43:4And the glorie of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate, whose prospect is towarde the East.
43:5So the Spirite tooke me vp and brought me into the inner court, and beholde, the glorie of the Lord filled the house.
43:6And I heard one speaking vnto me out of the house: and there stoode a man by me,
43:7Which saide vnto me, Sonne of man, this place is my throne, and the place of the soles of my feete, whereas I will dwell among the children of Israel for euer, and the house of Israel shall no more defile mine holy Name, neither they, nor their Kings by their fornication, nor by the carkeises of their Kings in their high places.
43:8Albeit they set their thresholdes by my thresholdes, and their postes by my postes (for there was but a wall betweene me and them) yet haue they defiled mine holy Name with their abominations, that they haue committed: wherfore I haue consumed them in my wrath.
43:9Now therefore let them put away their fornication, and the carkeises of their Kings farre from me, and I will dwell among them for euer.
43:10Thou sonne of man, shew this House to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their wickednes, and let them measure ye paterne.
43:11And if they be ashamed of all that they haue done, shew them the forme of the House, and ye paterne thereof, and the going out thereof, and the coming in thereof, and the whole fashion thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the figures thereof, and all the lawes thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keepe the whole fashion thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
43:12This is the description of the house, It shalbe vpon the toppe of the mount: all the limites thereof round about shalbe most holy. Beholde, this is the description of the house.
43:13And these are the measures of the Altar, after the cubites, the cubite is a cubite, and an had breadth, euen the bottome shalbe a cubite, and the breadth a cubite, and the border thereof by the edge thereof rounde about shalbe a spanne: and this shalbe the height of the altar.
43:14And from the bottome which toucheth the ground to the lower piece shalbe two cubites: and the breadth one cubite, and from the litle piece to the great piece shalbe foure cubites, and the breadth one cubite.
43:15So the altar shalbe foure cubites, and from the altar vpward shalbe foure hornes.
43:16And the altar shalbe twelue cubites long, and twelue broade, and fouresquare in the foure corners thereof.
43:17And ye frame shalbe foureteene cubites log, and fourteene broade in the fouresquare corners thereof, and the border about it shalbe halfe a cubite, and the bottome therof shalbe a cubite about, and the steps thereof shalbe turned towarde ye East.
43:18And he said vnto me, Sone of man, thus saith ye Lord God, These are ye ordinances of ye altar in the day when they shall make it to offer the burnt offring thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
43:19And thou shalt giue to the Priestes, and to the Leuites, that be of the seede of Zadok, which approch vnto me, to minister vnto me, saith the Lord God, a yong bullocke for a sinne offring.
43:20And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the foure hornes of it, and on the foure corners of the frame, and vpon the border round about: thus shalt thou clense it, and reconcile it.
43:21Thou shalt take the bullocke also of the sinne offring, and burne it in the appointed place of the house without the Sanctuarie.
43:22But the second day thou shalt offer an hee goat without blemish for a sinne offring, and they shall clense ye altar, as they did clense it with the bullocke.
43:23When thou hast made an ende of clensing it, thou shalt offer a yong bullocke without blemish, and a ram out of the flocke without blemish.
43:24And thou shalt offer them before ye Lord, and the Priestes shall cast salt vpon them, and they shall offer them for a burnt offring vnto ye Lord.
43:25Seuen dayes shalt thou prepare euery day an hee goate for a sinne offring: they shall also prepare a yong bullocke and a ramme out of the flocke, without blemish.
43:26Thus shall they seuen dayes purifie the altar, and clense it, and consecrate it.
43:27And when these dayes are expired, vpon the eight day and so forth, the Priests shall make your burnt offrings vpon the altar, and your peace offrings, and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.

43:1So he brought me to the dore that turneth toward the east.
43:2Behold, then came the glory of the God of Israel from out of the east, whose voyce was lyke a great noyce of waters, and the earth was lyghtened with his glory.
43:3His syght to loke vpon was lyke the fyrst, that I sawe when I went in, what tyme as the cytie shuld haue bene destroyed: and like the visyon that I sawe by the water of Cobar. Then fell I vpon my face:
43:4but the glory of the Lord came into the house, thorowe the east dore.
43:5So a wynde toke me vp, and brought me into the ynnermer court: and beholde, the house was full of the glory of the Lorde.
43:6I hearde one speaking vnto me out of the house: and there stode one by me,
43:7that sayde vnto me: O thou sonne of man, this rowme is my seate, & the place of my fotsteppes, where as I wyll dwell amonge the children of Israel for euermore: so that the house of Israel shall nomore defyle my holy name: nether they, ner their kynges thorowe theyr whordome, thorowe their hye places, & thorowe the deed bodyes of their kinges:
43:8which haue builded their thresholdes in maner hard vpon my thresholdes, & their postes almost at my postes: & a wall betwyxte me and them. Thus haue they defyled my holy name wt their abhominations, that they haue commytted. Wherfore, I haue destroyed them in my wrath.
43:9But now they shal put awaye their whordome & the deed bodies of their kinges out of my syght, that I maye dwell among them for euermore.
43:10Therfore, O thou sonne of man, shewe thou the housholde of Israel a temple, that they maye be ashamed of their wickednes, & measure them selues an example therat.
43:11And when they be ashamed of all theyr worckes, then shewe them the fourme & fashyon of the temple, the comming in, the goynge out, all the maner and descripcyon therof: yee, all the vses & ordinaunces of it, that they maye kepe and fulfyll all the fashyons and customes therof.
43:12This is the descripcion of the house. Aboue, vpon the mount rounde about all the corners, it shalbe the holyest of all. Beholde, that is the descripcyon and fashyon of the house.
43:13Thys is the measure of the aultar, after the true cubite: which is a spanne longer then another cubyte, his botome in the middest was a cubite longe and wyde, and the ledge that went rounde about it, was a spanne broade. This is the heyght of the aulter.
43:14From the ground to the lower steppes, the length is two cubites: and the bredth one cubite: and from the lower steppes to the hygher, are foure cubytes, and the bredth but one cubite.
43:15The aultar was .iiij. cubytes hye, and from the aultar vpwarde stode .iiij. hornes,
43:16and it was .xij. cubytes longe and .xij. cubites broade, vpon the foure corners:
43:17the couering of the aultar was .xiiij. cubites longe & broad vpon the foure corners, and the ledge that went rounde about had halfe a cubite, and the botome therof rounde about one cubite: hys steppes stode towarde the east.
43:18And he sayd vnto me: Thou sonne of man, thus sayth the Lorde God: these are the ordynaunces and lawes of the aultar: in the daye, whan it is made to offer burntofferinges, and to sprenckle bloude therupon.
43:19To the prestes, to the leuites that be of the sede of Sadoch, and treade before me to do me seruyce, sayeth the Lorde God. Unto these geue thou a yonge bullocke for a synoffering:
43:20& take the bloude of hym, and sprenckle his foure hornes withall: and the foure corners of the aultar couering, with the ledge that goeth rounde about, herwith shalt thou clense it, and reconcyle it.
43:21Thou shalte take the bullocke also of the synoffering, and burne him in a seuerall place without the sanctuary.
43:22The next daye, take a goatbucke, wtout blemysh for a synofferynge, to reconcyle the aultar withall, lyke as it was reconcyled wt the bullocke.
43:23Nowe whan thou hast made it cleane, then offre a yonge bullocke without blemysh, and a ramme out of the flocke without blemysh also.
43:24Offer them before the Lord: and let the preste cast salt therupon, and geue them so vnto the Lord for a burntofferyng.
43:25Seuen dayes shalt thou brynge euery daye a goatbuck. A yonge bullocke and a ramme of the flocke, both without blemysh, shall they offre.
43:26Seuen dayes shall they reconcyle and clense the aultar, and offre vpon it.
43:27When these dayes are expyred, then vpon the eight daye and so forth, the prestes shall offre their burntofferinges and healthofferinges vpon the aultar: so will I be mercyfull vnto you, sayth the Lorde God.
