Ezekiel - Chapter: 42

>
42:1Then he brought me foorth into the vtter court, the way toward the North, and hee brought mee into the chamber, that was ouer against the separate place, & which was before the building toward the North.
42:2Before the length of an hundreth cubites was the North doore, and the breadth was fiftie cubits.
42:3Ouer against the twentie cubites which were for the inner court, and ouer against the pauement which was for the vtter court, was gallerie against gallery in three stories.
42:4And before the chambers was a walke of ten cubites breadth inward, a way of one cubite, and their doores toward the North.
42:5Now the vpper-chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher then these, then the lower, and then the middlemost of the building.
42:6For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitned more then the lowest, and the middlemost from the ground.
42:7And the wall that was without ouer against the chambers towards the vtter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fiftie cubites.
42:8For the length of the chambers that were in the vtter court was fiftie cubites: and loe, before the Temple were an hundreth cubites.
42:9And from vnder these chambers was the entrie on the East side, as one goeth into them from the vtter court.
42:10The chambers were in the thickenes of the wall of the court toward the East, ouer against the separate place, and ouer against the building.
42:11And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers, which were toward the North, as long as they and as broad as they, and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doores.
42:12And according to the doores of the chambers that were toward the South, was a doore in the head of the way, euen the way directly before ye wall toward the East, as one entreth into them.
42:13Then sayd hee vnto mee, The North chambers, and the South chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where ye Priests that approach vnto the Lord shall eate the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, & the sinne offering, and the trespasse offring, for the place is holy.
42:14When the Priests enter therein, then shall they not goe out of the holy place into the vtter court, but there they shall lay their garments, wherein they minister: for they are holy, and shall put on other garments, and shall approch to those things which are for the people.
42:15Now when hee had made an end of measuring the inner house, hee brought mee foorth toward the gate, whose prospect is toward the East, and measured it round about.
42:16He measured the East side with the measuring reede, fiue hundreth reedes, with the measuring reed round about.
42:17Hee measured the North side fiue hundreth reedes, with a measuring reed round about.
42:18Hee measured the South side fiue hundreth reedes, with the measuring reede.
42:19Hee turned about to the West side, and measured fiue hundreth reedes with the measuring reed.
42:20He measured it by the foure sides: it had a wall round about fiue hundreth reedes long, and fiue hundreth broad, to make a separation betweene the Sanctuary and the prophane place.

42:1Then brought hee me into the vtter court by the way towarde the North, and he brought me into the chamber that was ouer against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the North.
42:2Before ye length of an hundreth cubites, was the North doore, and it was fiftie cubites broad.
42:3Ouer against the twentie cubites which were for the inner court, and ouer against the pauement, which was for the vtter court, was chamber against chamber in three rowes.
42:4And before the chambers was a gallery of ten cubites wide, and within was a way of one cubite, and their doores towarde the North.
42:5Nowe the chambers aboue were narower: for those chambers seemed to eate vp these, to wit, the lower, and those that were in the middes of the building.
42:6For they were in three rowes, but had not pillars as the pillars of the court: therefore there was a difference from them beneath and from the middlemost, euen from the ground.
42:7And the wall that was without ouer against the chambers, toward the vtter court on the forefront of the chambers, was fiftie cubites long.
42:8For the length of the chambers that were in the vtter court, was fiftie cubites: and loe, before the Temple were an hundreth cubites.
42:9And vnder these chambers was the entrie, on the East side, as one goeth into them from the outward court.
42:10The chambers were in the thicknesse of the wall of the court towarde the East, ouer against the separate place, and ouer against the building.
42:11And the way before them was after ye maner of the chambers, which were toward ye North, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their entries were like, both according to their facions, and according to their doores.
42:12And according to ye doores of ye chambers that were towarde the South, was a doore in the corner of the way, euen the way directly before the wall toward the East, as one entreth.
42:13The said he vnto me, The North chambers and ye South chambers which are before ye separate place, they be holy chambers, wherein the Priests that approch vnto ye Lord, shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meate offering, and the sinne offering, and the trespasse offring: for the place is holy.
42:14When the Priestes enter therein, they shall not go out of the holy place into the vtter court, but there they shall lay their garmentes wherein they minister: for they are holy, and shall put on other garmentes, and so shall approch to those things, which are for the people.
42:15Nowe when he had made an ende of measuring the inner house, he brought mee forth toward the gate whose prospect is towarde the East, and measured it round about.
42:16He measured the East side with the measuring rod, fiue hundreth reedes, euen with the measuring reede round about.
42:17He measured also the Northside, fiue hundreth reedes, euen with the measuring reede rounde about.
42:18And he measured the South side fiue hundreth reedes with the measuring reede.
42:19He turned about also to the West side, and measured fiue hundreth reedes with the measuring reede.
42:20He measured it by the foure sides: it had a wall round about, fiue hundreth reedes long, and fiue hundreth broade to make a separation betweene the Sanctuarie, and the prophane place.

42:1Then caryed he me out into the fore court towarde the north, & brought me into the chambre that stode oueragaynst the backbuyldinge north ward, which had the length of an .C. cubytes: whose dore turned toward the north.
42:2The wydenes conteyned .l. cubytes:
42:3oueragaynst the .xx. cubytes of the ynnermer court, and agaynst the paued worke that was in the court, besyde all these thre, ther stode pillers, one oueragaynst another:
42:4And before thys chambre there was a walkyng place of .x. cubites wyde, and within was a waye of one cubite wyde and their dores towarde the north.
42:5Thus the hyest chambres were alwaye narower then the lowest and myddelmost of the buyldynge:
42:6for they bare chambre vpon chambre, and stode thre together one vpon another, not hauyng pillers lyke the fore court: therfore were they smaller then those beneth and in the middest to reken from the grounde vpwarde.
42:7The wall without that stode by the chambres towarde the vtmost court vpon the fore syde of the chambres, was .l. cubytes longe:
42:8for the length of the vtmost chambres in the fore court was .l. cubytes also: but the length therof before the temple was an .C. cubytes.
42:9These chambres had vnder them an intraunce of the east syde, wherby a man myght go in to them out of the fore court,
42:10thorowe the thicke wall of the fore court towarde the east, ryght oueragaynst the separated buylding.
42:11Before the same buyldyng vpon thys syde, there were chambres also which had a waye vnto them, lyke as the chambre on the north syde of the same length and wydenesse. Theyr intraunce, fashyon and dores were also of the same maner.
42:12Yee, euen lyke as the other chambre dores were: so were those also of the south syde. And before the waye towarde the syngers steppes on the east syde, there stode a dore to go in at.
42:13Then sayde he vnto me: The chambers towarde the north & the south which stande before the backe buyldynge: those be holy habytatyons, wherein the prestes that do seruyce before the Lorde, must eate the most holy offeringes: and there must they laye the most holy offeringes, meatofferynges, synne offerynges, and trespace offerynges: for it is an holy place.
42:14When the prestes come therin, they shall not go out into the fore courte: but (seynge they be holy) they shall leaue the clothes of their ministracyon, and put on other garmentes, when they haue any thyng to do with the people.
42:15Nowe when he had measured all the ynnermer house, he brought me forth thorowe the east porte, and measured the same rounde about.
42:16He measured the east syde with the meterode, which rounde about conteyned .v.C. meteroddes:
42:17And the north syde measured he which conteyned rounde about euen so moch.
42:18The other two sydes also towarde the south
42:19and the west, which he measured, conteyned ether of them .v.C. meteroddes.
42:20So he measured all the foure sydes, where there went a wall rounde about .v.C. meteroddes longe, and as broade also which separated the holy from the vnholy.
