| 3:1 | For behold, in those dayes and in that time, when I shall bring againe the captiuitie of Iudah and Ierusalem, |
| 3:2 | I wil also gather all nations, and will bring them downe into the valley of Iehoshaphat, and wil plead with them there for my people, and for my heritage Israel, whom they haue scattered among the nations, and parted my land. |
| 3:3 | And they haue cast lots for my people, and haue giuen a boy for a harlot, and solde a girle for wine, that they might drinke. |
| 3:4 | Yea and what haue ye to do with me, O Tyre and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render mee a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I returne your recompense vpon your owne head. |
| 3:5 | Because yee haue taken my siluer and my gold, and haue caried into your temples my goodly pleasant things. |
| 3:6 | The children also of Iudah and the children of Ierusalem haue ye sold vnto the Grecians, that yee might remoue them farre from their border. |
| 3:7 | Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither yee haue sold them, and wil returne your recompence vpon your owne head. |
| 3:8 | And I will sell your sonnes and your daughters into the hande of the children of Iudah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people farre off, for the Lord hath spoken it. |
| 3:9 | Proclaime ye this among the gentiles: prepare warre, wake vp the mightie men, let all the men of warre draw neere, let them come vp. |
| 3:10 | Beate your plowe shares into swords, and your pruning hookes into speares, let the weake say, I am strong. |
| 3:11 | Assemble your selues, and come all ye heathen, and gather your selues together round about: thither cause thy mightie ones to come downe, O Lord. |
| 3:12 | Let the heathen be wakened, and come vp to the valley of Iehoshaphat: for there will I sit to iudge all the heathen round about. |
| 3:13 | Put ye in the sickle, for the haruest is ripe, come, get you downe, for the presse is full, the fats ouerflowe, for the wickednesse is great. |
| 3:14 | Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for ye day of the Lord is neere in the valley of decision. |
| 3:15 | The Sunne and the Moone shall be darkened, and the starres shall withdraw their shining. |
| 3:16 | The Lord also shal roare out of Zion, and vtter his voice from Ierusalem, and the heauens and the earth shall shake, but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. |
| 3:17 | So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy Mountaine: then shall Ierusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers passe through her any more. |
| 3:18 | And it shall come to passe in that day, that the mountaines shal drop downe new wine, and the hils shall flow with milke, and all the riuers of Iudah shall flow with waters, and a fountaine shall come forth of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim. |
| 3:19 | Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wildernes, for the violence against the children of Iudah, because they haue shed innocent blood in their land. |
| 3:20 | But Iudah shall dwell for euer, and Ierusalem from generation to generation. |
| 3:21 | For I wil cleanse their blood, that I haue not cleansed, for the Lord dwelleth in Zion. |

| 3:10 | Breake your plowshares into swords, and your sithes into speares: let the weake say, I am strong. |
| 3:11 | Assemble your selues, and come all yee heathen and gather your selues together round about: there shall the Lord cast downe the mightie men. |
| 3:12 | Let the heathen be wakened, and come vp to the valley of Iehoshaphat: for there will I sit to iudge all the heathen round about. |
| 3:13 | Put in your sithes, for the haruest is ripe: come, get you downe, for the winepresse is full: yea, the winepresses runne ouer, for their wickednesse is great. |
| 3:14 | O multitude, O multitude, come into the valley of threshing: for the day of the Lord is neere in the valley of threshing. |
| 3:15 | The sunne and moone shalbe darkened, and the starres shall withdrawe their light. |
| 3:16 | The Lord also shall roare out of Zion, and vtter his voyce from Ierusalem, and the heauens and the earth shall shake, but the Lord wil be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. |
| 3:17 | So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, mine holy Mountaine: then shall Ierusalem bee holy, and there shall no strangers go thorowe her any more. |
| 3:18 | And in that day shall the mountaines drop downe newe wine, and the hilles shall flowe with milke, and al the riuers of Iudah shall runne with waters, and a fountaine shall come forth of the House of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim. |
| 3:19 | Egypt shalbe waste, and Edom shall be a desolate wildernesse, for the iniuries of the childre of Iudah, because they haue shed innocent blood in their land. |
| 3:20 | But Iudah shall dwell for euer, and Ierusalem from generation to generation. |
| 3:21 | For I will clense their blood, that I haue not clensed, and the Lord will dwell in Zion. |
| 3:1 | For take hede: in those dayes and at the same tyme, when I turne agayne the captiuyte of Iuda and Ierusalem: |
| 3:2 | I shall gather all people together, and brynge them in the valley of Iosaphat: and there will I reason with them: because of my people and heritage of Israel: whom they haue scatred about in the nacyons: and parted my lande: |
| 3:3 | yee, they haue cast lottes for my people, the yonge men haue they set in the bordel house, & solde the damsels for wyne, that they myght haue to drincke. |
| 3:4 | Thou Tirus and Sidon and all ye borders of the Philistines: what haue ye to do wt me? Will ye defye me? well, yf ye will nedes defye me, I shall recompence you, euen vpon your heade, & the ryght worthely: |
| 3:5 | for ye haue taken awaye my syluer and golde, my fayre and goodly Iewels, and brought them into your goddes houses. |
| 3:6 | The chyldren also of Iuda and Ierusalem haue ye solde vnto the Grekes, that ye myght brynge them farre from the borders of their awne countrees. |
| 3:7 | Beholde therfore, I wyll rayse them out of the place, where ye haue solde them, and will rewarde you euen vpon your head. |
| 3:8 | Your sonnes and youre daughters wyll I sell thorowe the handes of the chyldren of Iuda, and so they shall geue them forth to sell, vnto them of Saba, a people of a farre countre: for the Lorde him selfe hath sayde it. |
| 3:9 | Crye oute these thynges amonge the Gentyles, proclayme warre, wake vp the gyauntes, let them drawe nye, let them come vp all the lusty warryours of them. |
| 3:10 | Make you sweardes of your plowshares, and speares of youre sycles & sythes. Let the weake man saye: I am stronge. |
| 3:11 | Mustre you, & come, all ye Heathen rounde about: gather you together, there shall the Lord laye all thy gyauntes to the grounde. |
| 3:12 | Lett the people aryse, & get them to the valley of Iosaphat for there will I syt, & iudge all Heathen rounde about |
| 3:13 | Laye to your sythes, for the haruest is rype: come, get you downe: the wyne presse is full, yee, the wynepresses runne ouer, for their wickednes is waxen greate. |
| 3:14 | In the valley appoynted, there shalbe many, many people: for the daye of the Lorde is nye in the valley appoynted. |
| 3:15 | The sunne & moone shalbe darckened, & the starres shall withdrawe their lyght. |
| 3:16 | The Lorde shall roare out of Syon, and crye out of Ierusalem, that the heauens and the earth shall quake withall. But the Lorde shalbe a defence vnto hys awne people, and a refuge for the chyldren of Israel. |
| 3:17 | Thus shall ye knowe, that I the Lorde youre God dwell vpon my holy mounte of Syon. Then shall Ierusalem be holy, & there shall no straungers go thorowe her any more. |
| 3:18 | Then shall the mountaynes drope swete wyne, and the hylles shall flowe with mylcke. All the ryuers of Iuda shall haue water ynough, and out of the Lordes house there shall flowe a spring, to water the broke of Sitim: |
| 3:19 | but Egypte shalbe layed waste, and Edom shalbe desolate: because they haue dealte so cruelly with the chyldren of Iuda, and shed innocent bloude in theyr lande. |
| 3:20 | Agayne, Iuda shalbe inhabited for euermore, & Ierusalem from generacyon to generacyon: |
| 3:21 | for I will not leaue their bloude vnauenged. And the Lorde shall dwell in Syon. |
