2:1	Then Ionah prayed vnto the Lord his God, out of the fishes belly,
2:2	And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction vnto the Lord, and hee heard mee; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voyce.
2:3	For thou hadst cast mee into the deepe, in the middest of the Seas, and the floods compassed me about: all thy billowes & thy waues passed ouer me.
2:4	Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will looke againe toward thy holy Temple.
2:5	The waters compassed mee about euen to the soule; the depth closed mee round about; the weedes were wrapt about my head.
2:6	I went downe to the bottomes of the mountaines: the earth with her barres was about me for euer: yet hast thou brought vp my life from corruption, O Lord my God.
2:7	When my soule fainted within mee, I remembred the Lord, and my prayer came in vnto thee, into thine holy Temple.
2:8	They that obserue lying vanities, forsake their owne mercy.
2:9	But I wil sacrifice vnto thee with the voice of thanksgiuing, I will pay that that I haue vowed: saluation is of the Lord.
2:10	And the Lord spake vnto the fish, and it vomited out Ionah vpon the drie land.

2:2	And said, I cryed in mine affliction vnto the Lord, and he heard me: out of the bellie of hell cryed I, and thou heardest my voyce.
2:3	For thou haddest cast me into the bottome in the middes of the sea, and the floods compassed me about: all thy surges, and all thy waues passed ouer me.
2:4	Then I saide, I am cast away out of thy sight: yet will I looke againe towarde thine holy Temple.
2:5	The waters compassed me about vnto the soule: the depth closed me rounde about, and the weedes were wrapt about mine head.
2:6	I went downe to the bottome of the moutaines: the earth with her barres was about me for euer, yet hast thou brought vp my life from the pit, O Lord my God.
2:7	When my soule fainted within me, I remembred the Lord: and my prayer came vnto thee, into thine holy Temple.
2:8	They that waite vpon lying vanities, forsake their owne mercie.
2:9	But I will sacrifice vnto thee with the voice of thankesgiuing, and will pay that that I haue vowed: saluation is of the Lord.
2:10	And the Lord spake vnto the fish, and it cast out Ionah vpon the dry lande.

2:2	b) And Ionas prayed vnto the Lorde hys God, out of the fysshes bely,
2:3	and sayd. In my trouble I called vnto the Lorde, and he herde me: out of the bely of hell I cryed, & thou herdest my voyce.
2:4	Thou haddest cast me downe depe in the myddest of the see, & the floude compased me aboute: yee, all thy waues and roules of water went ouer me,
2:5	I thought that I had bene cast awaye out of thy syght: but I will yet agayne loke towarde thy holy temple.
2:6	The waters compased me, euen to the very soule: the depe laye aboute me, & the wedes were wrapte aboute myne head.
2:7	I went downe to the botome of the hylles, and was barred in with earth for euer. But thou, O Lorde my God, hast brought vp my lyfe agayne out of corrupcion.
2:8	When my soule fainted wythin me, I thought vpon the Lorde: & my prayer came in vnto the, euen into thy holy temple.
2:9	They that hold of vayne vanyties, wyll forsake his mercy.
2:10	But I will do the sacrifyce with the voyce of thankesgeuynge, & wyll paye that I haue vowed: for why? saluacyon commeth of the Lord.Jon
