Zechariah - Chapter: 5

>
5:1Then I turned, and lift vp mine eyes, and looked, and behold, a flying roule.
5:2And hee said vnto mee, What seest thou? and I answered, I see a flying roule, the length thereof is twentie cubites, and the breadth thereof tenne cubites.
5:3Then said hee vnto mee; This is the curse, that goeth forth ouer the face of the whole earth: for euery one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side, according to it; and euery one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side, according to it.
5:4I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hostes, and it shall enter into the house of the theefe, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remaine in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof.
5:5Then the Angell that talked with me, went forth and said vnto me, Lift vp now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
5:6And I said, What is it? and hee said, This is an Ephah that goeth forth. Hee said moreouer, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
5:7And behold, there was lift vp a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the Ephah.
5:8And he said, This is wickednesse, and he cast it into the midst of the Ephah, and he cast the weight of lead vpon the mouth thereof.
5:9Then lift I vp mine eyes, and looked, & behold, there came out two women, and the winde was in their wings (for they had wings like the wings of a storke) and they lift vp the Ephah betweene the earth and the heauen.
5:10Then saide I to the Angel that talked with me, Whither do these beare the Ephah?
5:11And he said vnto mee, To build it an house in the land of Shinar, and it shall be established, and set there vpon her owne base.

5:1Then I turned me, and lifted vp mine eyes and looked, and beholde, a flying booke.
5:2And he said vnto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying booke: the length thereof is twentie cubites, and the breadth thereof tenne cubites.
5:3Then said he vnto me, This is the curse that goeth foorth ouer the whole earth: for euery one that stealeth, shalbe cut off aswell on this side, as on that: and euery one that sweareth, shall be cut off aswell on this side, as on that.
5:4I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thiefe, and into the house of him, that falsely sweareth by my Name: and it shall remaine in the middes of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and stones thereof.
5:5Then the Angel that talked with me, went foorth, and said vnto me, Lift vp now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth foorth.
5:6And I saide, What is it? And hee sayde, This is an Ephah that goeth foorth. Hee saide moreouer, This is the sight of them through all the earth.
5:7And beholde, there was lift vp a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the middes of the Ephah.
5:8And he said, This is wickednes, and he cast it into the middes of the Ephah, and hee cast the weight of lead vpon the mouth thereof.
5:9Then lift I vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came out two women, and the winde was in their wings (for they had wings like the wings of a storke) and they lift vp the Ephah betweene the earth and the heauen.
5:10Then saide I to the Angel that talked with me, Whither doe these beare the Ephah?
5:11And hee saide vnto mee, To builde it an house in the lande of Shinar, and it shall be established and set there vpon her owne place.

5:1So I turned me, lyftyng vp myne eyes, & loked, & beholde, a flyinge boke.
5:2And he sayd vnto me: what seest thou I answered: I se a flyinge booke of .xx. cubytes longe, and .x. cubytes brode.
5:3Then sayed he vnto me: Thys is the curse that goeth forth ouer the whole earth: for all theues shalbe Iudged after this booke & all swearers shalbe iudged accordynge to the same,
5:4& I wyl brynge it furth (sayeth the Lorde of hostes) so that it shall come to the house of the thefe, & to the house of him, that falsly sweareth by my name: & shall remayne in hys house, & consume it, wt the tymbre and stones therof.
5:5Then the angel that talked wt me, wente forth and sayd vnto me: lyft vp thyne eyes and se, what is this that goeth forth.
5:6And I sayde: what is it? He answered: thys is a measure goinge out. He sayde moreouer: Euen thus are they (that dwel vpon the whole earth) to loke vpon.
5:7And beholde, there was lyft vp a talent of leade: & lo, a woman sat in the myddest of the measure.
5:8And he sayde: thys is vngodlynes. So he cast her into the myddest of the measure, and threwe the lompe of leade into the mouth of the measure.
5:9Then lyfte I vp myne eyes, & loked: and behold, there came out .ii. women, and the wind was in their wynges (for they had wynges lyke the wynges of a storke) & they lyft vp the measure betwixt the earth and the heauen.
5:10Then spake I to the aungel that talked wt me: whyther wyl these beare the measure?
5:11And he sayd vnto me: into the lande of Synear to buyld them an house, whiche when it is prepared, the measure shalbe set there in his place.
