9:1	Then he entred into a shyppe & passed ouer and came into his owne citie.
9:2	And, lo thei brought to him a man sycke of the palsye, lyinge in his bedde. And when Iesus sawe the faith of them he said to the sick of the palsie sonne be of good chere, thy sinnes be forgeuen the.
9:3	And beholde certayne of the scribes sayd in them selues, thys man blasphemeth.
9:4	And when Iesus sawe theyr thoughtes, he sayed: wherfor thinke ye euill in your hertes?
9:5	Whether is easyer to saye, thy synnes be forgeuen the, or to saye: aryse and walke?
9:6	That ye maye knowe that the sonne of man hath power to forgeue synnes in earth: then sayed he vnto the sicke of the palsie: aryse, take vp thy bed, and go home to thyne house.
9:7	And he arose and departed to hys owne house.
9:8	And when the people sawe it, they marueyled & glorifyed God whiche hath geuen suche power to men.
9:9	And as Iesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man syt receyuyng of custome named Mathew, and sayd to hym: folow me.
9:10	And he arose and folowed hym. And it came to passe, as he sate at meat in the house: beholde many Publicans, and synners came and sate doune also with Iesus and hys disciples.
9:11	When the Phariseis sawe that, they sayed to hys disciples: why eateth your master with Publicans and synners?
9:12	When Iesus heard that he sayed vnto them: The whole neade not the Phisicion, but they that are sicke.
9:13	Go, and learne, what that meaneth: I haue pleasure in mercye, & not in offerynge. For I am not come to cal the ryghtuouse but the synners to repentaunce.
9:14	Then came the disciples of Iohn to hym saying: why do we and the Pharises fast ofte: but thy disciples fast not?
9:15	And Iesus sayd vnto them. Can the weddyng children morne as long as the bridegrome is with them? The tyme will come when the bridegrome shalbe taken from them, and then shal they faste:
9:16	No man peceth an olde garment with a pece of newe clothe. For then taketh he awaye the pece agayne from the garment, and the rente is made greater.
9:17	Nether do men put newe wyne into olde vessels, for then the vessels breake and the wyne runneth out, and the vessels peryshe. But they poure newe wyne into newe vessels, and so are both saued together.
9:18	Whyles he thus spake vnto them, behold there came a certaine rueler, and worshipped him sayinge my doughter is euen now dyseased, but come and lay thy hand on her, and she shall lyue.
9:19	And Iesus arose and folowed him with his disciples.
9:20	And beholde, a woman which was diseased with an issue of bloude .xij. yeres, came behinde him and touched the hem of his vesture.
9:21	For she said in her selfe: if I maye touche but euen his vesture only, I shalbe safe.
9:22	Then Iesus tourned him about, & behelde her saynge: Doughter be of good comforth, thy faith hath made the safe. And she was made whole euen that same houre.
9:23	And when Iesus came into the rulers house, and sawe the ministrels and the people raginge,
9:24	he sayd vnto them: Get you hence, for the mayde is not dead, but slepeth. And they laughed him to scorne.
9:25	Assone as the people were put forth, he went in and toke her by the hande, and the mayde arose.
9:26	And this was noysed through out all that lande.
9:27	And as Iesus departed thence, two blinde men folowed hym cryinge and sayinge: O thou sonne of Dauid haue mercy on vs.
9:28	And when he was come into the house, the blynde came to him. And Iesus saide vnto them: Beleue ye that I am able to do this? And they sayde vnto him: ye Lorde.
9:29	Then touched he their eyes, sayinge: accordinge to your fayth, be it vnto you.
9:30	And their eyes were opened. And Iesus charged them sayinge: Se that no man knowe of it.
9:31	But they assone as they were departed, spred abrode his name through out all the lande.
9:32	As they were come out behold, a domme man possessed of a deuil, was brought to him.
9:33	And as sone as the deuyl was cast out, the domme spake: And the people meruayled: sayinge: it was neuer so sene in Israell.
9:34	But the pharyseis sayed: he casteth out deuils, by the power of the chiefe deuyl.
9:35	And Iesus went aboute all cytyes and tounes, teachinge in their synagoges and preachinge the gladde tidinges of the kingdome, and healinge all maner sicknes and disease amonge the people.
9:36	But when he sawe the people, he had compassyon on them, because they were pyned awaye, and scattred abroad, euen as shepe hauinge no shepeherde.
9:37	Then sayde he to his disciples: the herueste is greate, but the labourers are fewe.
9:38	Wherfore pray the Lord of the haruest to send forth labourers into his haruest.

9:4	And when Iesus sawe their thoughtes, he sayde. Wherfore thyncke ye euyll in youre heartes?
9:5	Whether is easyer to saye, thy synnes be forgeuen the, or to saye, aryse and walke?
9:6	But that ye maye knowe, that the sonne of man hath power to forgeue synnes in erth. Then sayeth he vnto the sycke of the palsye: arise, take vp thy bed, and go vnto thyne house.
9:7	And he arose, and departed to his house.
9:8	But the people that sawe it, marueyled, and gloryfyed God, which had geuen soch power vnto men.
9:9	And as Iesus passed forth from thence, he sawe a man (named Mathew) syttynge at the receate of custome, and he sayeth vnto him: folow me.
9:10	And he arose, & folowed him. And it came to passe as Iesus sat at meate in hys housse: beholde, many Publicans also and synners that came, sat downe with Iesus and his disciples.
9:11	And when the Pharises sawe it, they sayde vnto his disciples: why eateth youre master with publicans and synners?
9:12	But when Iesus heard that, he sayde vnto them. They that be stronge, nede not the phisicyon, but they that are sicke.
9:13	Goo ye rather and learne what that meaneth. I will haue mercy, and not sacrifice. For I am not come to call the ryghtewes, but synners to repentaunce.
9:14	Then came the Disciples of Iohn vnto him, saying: why do we and the Pharises fast, for the most parte: but thy disciples fast not?
9:15	And Iesus sayde vnto them: can the brydegromes children mourne as longe as the brydegrome is with them? But the dayes wyll come, when the brydegrome shalbe taken from them, and then shall they fast.
9:16	No man putteth a pece of new cloth in an olde garment. For then taketh he awaye the pece from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
9:17	Nether do men put new wyne into olde: bottels: els the bottels breake, and the wyne runneth out, and the bottels peryshe. But they putt new wyne into new bottels, and both are saued together.
9:18	Whyle he thus spake vnto them, beholde, ther came a certayne ruler, & worshipped him, sayinge: my daughter is euen now diseased, but come and laye thy hand vpon her, & she shall lyue.
9:19	And Iesus arose, and folowed him, and (so dyd) his disciples.
9:20	and beholde, a woman which was diseased with an yssue of bloude twelue yeres, came behynde him, and touched the hemme of his vesture.
9:21	For she sayde within her selfe: yf I may touche but euen hys vesture onely, I shalbe safe.
9:22	But Iesus tourned him aboute, and whan he sawe her, he sayde. Daughter, be of good comforte, thy faith hath made the safe. And the woman was made whole, euen that same tyme.
9:23	And when Iesus came into the rulers house, and sawe the minstrels, and the people makyng a noyse,
9:24	he sayde vnto them: get you hence, for the mayde is not deed but slepeth. And they laughed him to scorne.
9:25	But whan the people were put forth, he went in, and toke her by the hande, and the damsell arose.
9:26	And this noyse went abroade into all that lande.
9:27	And whan Iesus departed thence, two blynde men folowed him, cryinge & sayinge: O thou sonne of Dauid, haue mercy on vs:
9:28	And when he was come into the house, the blynde came to him. And Iesus sayeth vnto them: Beleue ye, that I am able to do this? They saye vnto him: Lord, we beleue.
9:29	Then touched he their eyes, sayinge: accordynge to youre fayth be it vnto you.
9:30	And their eyes were opened. And Iesus charged them sayinge. Se that no man knowe of it.
9:31	But they, whan they were departed, spreed abroade his name in all that lande.
9:32	As they went out, beholde they brought to him a domme man possessed of a deuyll.
9:33	And whan the deuyll was cast out, the domme spake. And the people merueyled, sayinge: it was neuer so sene in Israell.
9:34	But the pharises sayde. he casteth out deuyls, thorow the prince of deuels.
9:35	And Iesus went about all cyties & townes, teachinge in their synagoges, and preachinge the glad tydinges of the kyngdome, and healinge euery sicknes and euery disease amonge the people.
9:36	But when he sawe the people: he was moued with compassion on them, because they were destitute, and scattered abroade, euen as shepe hauynge no shepherde,
9:37	Then saieth he vnto his disciples, the heruest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are feawe.
9:38	Praye ye therfore the Lord of the haruest, that he will sende labourers into his haruest.

9:2	And loe, they brought to him a man sicke of the palsie, laid on a bed. And Iesus seeing their faith, saide to the sicke of the palsie, Sonne, be of good comfort: thy sinnes are forgiuen thee.
9:3	And beholde, certaine of the Scribes saide with themselues, This man blasphemeth.
9:4	But when Iesus saw their thoughts, he said, Wherefore thinke yee euil things in your hearts?
9:5	For whether is it easier to say, Thy sinnes are forgiuen thee, or to say, Arise, and walke?
9:6	And that ye may knowe that the Sonne of man hath authoritie in earth to forgiue sinnes, (then saide he vnto the sicke of the palsie,) Arise, take vp thy bed, and goe to thine house.
9:7	And hee arose, and departed to his owne house.
9:8	So when the multitude sawe it, they marueiled, and glorified God, which had giuen such authoritie to men.
9:9	And as Iesus passed foorth from thence, hee sawe a man sitting at the custome, named Matthewe, and saide to him, Followe me. And he arose, and followed him.
9:10	And it came to passe, as Iesus sate at meate in his house, beholde, many Publicanes and sinners, that came thither, sate downe at the table with Iesus and his disciples.
9:11	And when the Pharises sawe that, they saide to his disciples, Why eateth your master with Publicanes and sinners?
9:12	Nowe when Iesus heard it, hee sayde vnto them, The whole neede not a Physition, but they that are sicke.
9:13	But goe yee and learne what this is, I will haue mercie, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.
9:14	Then came the disciples of Iohn to him, saying, Why doe we and the Pharises fast oft, and thy disciples fast not?
9:15	And Iesus saide vnto them, Can the children of the marriage chamber mourne as long as the bridegrome is with them? But the daies will come, when the bridegrome shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
9:16	Moreouer no man pieceth an olde garment with a piece of newe cloth: for that that should fill it vp, taketh away from the garment, and the breach is worse.
9:17	Neither doe they put newe wine into olde vessels: for then the vessels would breake, and the wine woulde be spilt, and the vessels shoulde perish: but they put new wine into newe vessels, and so are both preserued.
9:18	While hee thus spake vnto them, beholde, there came a certaine ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is nowe deceased, but come and laie thine hande on her, and shee shall liue.
9:19	And Iesus arose and followed him with his disciples.
9:20	(And beholde, a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelue yeres, came behinde him, and touched the hemme of his garment.
9:21	For shee saide in her selfe, If I may touche but his garment onely, I shalbe whole.
9:22	Then Iesus turned him about, and seeing her, did say, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole at that same moment.)
9:23	Nowe when Iesus came into the Rulers house, and saw the minstrels and the multitude making noise,
9:24	He said vnto them, Get you hence: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorne.
9:25	And when the multitude were put foorth, hee went in and tooke her by the hande, and the maide arose.
9:26	And this bruite went throughout all that lande.
9:27	And as Iesus departed thence, two blinde men followed him, crying, and saying, O sonne of Dauid, haue mercie vpon vs.
9:28	And when hee was come into the house, the blinde came to him, and Iesus saide vnto them, Beleeue yee that I am able to doe this? And they sayd vnto him, Yea, Lord.
9:29	Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it vnto you.
9:30	And their eyes were opened, and Iesus gaue them great charge, saying, See that no man knowe it.
9:31	But when they were departed, they spread abroad his fame throughout all that land.
9:32	And as they went out, beholde, they brought to him a domme man possessed with a deuill.
9:33	And when the deuill was cast out, the domme spake: then the multitude marueiled, saying, The like was neuer seene in Israel.

9:35	And Iesus went about all cities and townes, teaching in their Synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the kingdome, and healing euery sickenesse and euery disease among the people.

9:37	Then saide he to his disciples, Surely the haruest is great, but the labourers are fewe.
9:38	Wherefore pray the Lord of the haruest, that he woulde sende foorth labourers into his haruest.
