15:1	Then came to Iesus Scribes and Phariseis from Hierusalem, sayinge:
15:2	why do thy disciples transgresse the tradicions of the elders? for thei washe not their handes when they eate bread.
15:3	He aunswered sayd vnto them: why do ye also transgresse the commaundement of God thorow your tradicions?
15:4	For God commaunded saying: honoure thy father and mother, and he that curseth father or mother shall suffre death.
15:5	But ye saye, euery man shal say to hys father or mother: that which thou desirest of me to helpe the with: is geuen to God,
15:6	and so shall he not honour hys father or mother. And thus haue ye made, that the commaundement of God is without effecte, thorow your tradicions.
15:7	Hypocrites, well prophecied of you Esaias sayinge:
15:8	Thys people draweth nye vnto me with their mouthes, & honoureth me with their lippes, howe be it their hertes are farre from me:
15:9	but in vayne they worshippe me teaching doctrines, which are nothyng but mens preceptes.
15:10	And he called the people vnto hym, & sayd to them, heare and vnderstande.
15:11	That whych goeth into the mouth, defileth not the man: but that whych commeth out of the mouthe, defileth the man.
15:12	Then came hys disciples, and sayde vnto hym: Perceyuest thou not, how that the Phariseis are offended in hearing thys saying?
15:13	He aunswered and sayd: al plantes whiche my heauenly father hath not planted, shalbe plucked vp by the rootes.
15:14	Let them alone, thei be the blynde leaders of the blynd. If the blynd leede the blynde, both shall fall into the dytche.
15:15	Then aunswered Peter and sayd to hym: declare vnto vs thys parable.
15:16	Then sayde Iesus are ye yet without vnderstandyng?
15:17	Perceyue ye not that whatsoeuer goeth in at the mouth, descendeth doune into the bealy, and is cast out into the draught?
15:18	But those thynges, whiche procede out of the mouthe, come from the hert and they defyle the man.
15:19	For out of the hert come euil thoughtes, murther, breakyng of wedlocke, whoredom, thefte, false, witnes bearing, blasphemye.
15:20	These are the thynges which defyle a man. But to eate wt vnwashen handes, defileth not a man.
15:21	And Iesus went thence, and departed into the costes of Tyre and Sidon
15:22	And beholde a woman whych was a Cananite came out of the same costes, and cryed vnto hym sayinge: haue mercy on me Lord the sonne of Dauid, my doughter is piteously vexed with a deuel.
15:23	And he gaue her neuer a woorde to aunswer. Then came to hym hys disciples, & besoughte hym saying: sende her away, for she foloweth vs criyng.
15:24	He aunswered, and saide: I am not sent, but vnto the lost shepe of the house of Israel.
15:25	Then she came and worshipped him saiyng master helpe me.
15:26	He aunswered & sayde: It is not good, to take thy chyldrens bread, & to cast it to dogges.
15:27	She aunswered & said: truth Lord, neuerthelesse the whelpes eate of the crommes, whiche fall from their masters table.
15:28	Then Iesus aunswered and sayd vnto her: O woman, great is thy fayth, be it to the euen as thou desirest. And her doughter was made whole, euen at that same houre.
15:29	Then Iesus went awaye from thence, and came vnto the sea of Galile, and went vp into a mountaine, and sate doune there.
15:30	And much people came vnto him, hauynge with them, halt, blynd, domme, maymed, and other many: and cast them doune at Iesus fete. And he healed them,
15:31	in so muche that the people wondred to se the domme speake, the maymed whole, the halt to go, and the blynde to se, And they glorified the God of Israel.
15:32	Then Iesus called hys disciples to hym & sayd I haue compassion on the people, because they haue continued with me now .iij. dayes & haue nought to eate, and I wil not let them departe fasting, lest they perish in the waie.
15:33	And his disciples sayd vnto hym, whence shoulde we get so muche breadde in the wildernes, as should suffice so great a multitude?
15:34	And Iesus sayde vnto them: How many loues haue ye? And they sayde: seuen, and a fewe litle fishes.
15:35	And he commaunded the people to sit doune on the grounde:
15:36	and toke the seuen loues and the fishes, and gaue thankes, and brake them and gaue to hys disciples, & the disciples gaue them to the people.
15:37	And they dyd all eate and were suffised. And they toke vp of the broken meate that was lefte .vij. baskettes full.
15:38	And yet thei that eate were .iiij.M. men, beside women and chyldren.
15:39	And he sent away the people & toke ship & came into the parties of Magdala.

15:4	For God commaundeth sayinge: honoure father and mother, and he that cursseth father or mother: let hym dye the deeth.
15:5	But ye saye: euery one shall saye to his father and mother: what gift so euer shulde haue come of me, the same is turned vnto thy profyt: & so shall he not honoure his father or his mother.
15:6	And thus haue ye made the commaundement of God of none effecte, because of youre awne tradicyon.
15:7	Ypocrites, full well dyd Esaye prophesie of you, saying:
15:8	This people draweth nye vnto me with theyr mouth, and honoureth me with lyppes, howbeit, their hertes are farre from me:
15:9	but in vayne do they serue me; teachynge the doctrines and preceptes of men.
15:10	And he called the people to him, and sayd vnto them: heare and vnderstande.
15:11	That whych goeth into the mouth, defyleth not the man: but that which commeth out of the mouth, defyleth the man.
15:12	Then came his disciples, and sayde vnto him: knowest thou not, that the Pharises were offended at this saying?
15:13	But he answered and sayd. Euery plante which my heauenly father hath not planted, shalbe plucked vp by the rotes.

15:17	do not ye yet vnderstande, that whatsoeuer entreth in at the mouth, goeth into the bely, & is cast out into the draught?
15:18	But those thynges whych procede out of the mouth, come forth from the hert, & they defyle the man.
15:19	For out of the herte proceade euill thoughtes; murders, breakynge of wedlocke, whordoms, theftes, falsewitnesse, blasphemies.
15:20	These are the thinges, which defyle a man. But to take meate wt vnwasshen handes, defileth not a man.
15:21	And Iesus went thence, & departed into the coastes of Tyre and Sydon
15:22	& beholde, a woman of Canaan (which cam out of the same coastes) cryed vnto him, sayinge: haue mercy on me o Lorde, thou sonne of Dauid: My daughter is pyteously vexed wyth a deuyll.
15:23	But he answered her nothing at all, & his disciples came, and besought him, sayinge: sende her awaye, for she crieth after vs:
15:24	But he answered, & sayde: I am not sent but vnto the lost shepe of the housse of Israel
15:25	Then cam she, & worshipped him, sayinge: lorde, helpe me.
15:26	He answered and said: it is not mete, to take the chyldrens bread, and to cast it to dogges.
15:27	She answered & sayde: truthe Lorde, for the dogges eate of the crommes, which fall from their masters table.
15:28	Then Iesus answered and sayde vnto her. O woman, greate is thy faith, be it vnto the, euen as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole euen at that same tyme.
15:29	And Iesus went awaye from thence, and cam nye vnto the see of Galile, & went vp into a mountayne, & sat doune there.
15:30	And moche people came vnto him, bringing wt them those that were lame, blind, deafe, maymed, and other many: & cast them downe at Iesus fete And he healed them:
15:31	in so moch, that the people wondered, whan they sawe the domme speake, the maymed to be whole, the lame to walke, and the blynde to se. And they glorified the God of Israel.
15:32	Then Iesus called his disciples vnto him, & sayde: I haue compassyon on the people, because they continue with me nowe .iii. dayes, & haue nothing to eate: & I will not let them departe fastynge, lest they myscary by the waye.
15:33	And his disciples saye vnto him whence shulde we get so moche bread in the wyldernes, as to suffyse so greate a multitude?
15:34	And Iesus sayeth vnto them: howe many loaues haue ye? And they saye seuen, & a fewe lytle fysshes.
15:35	And he commaunded the people to syt doune on the grounde:
15:36	and toke the seuen loaues, & the fysshes: & after that he had geuen thankes, he brake them, and gaue to his disciples, & the discyples gaue them to the people.
15:37	And they dyd all eate, and were suffysed. And they toke vp (of the broken meate that was lefte) seuen baskettes full.
15:38	And yet, they that dyd eate were .iiii.M. men. besyde wemen & chyldren.
15:39	And he sent awaye the people, and toke shyppe, & came into the parties of Magdala.

15:2	Why do thy disciples transgresse the tradition of the Elders? for they wash not their hands when they eate bread.
15:3	But he answered and said vnto them, Why doe yee also transgresse the commandement of God by your tradition?
15:4	For God hath commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and he that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
15:5	But ye say, Whosoeuer shall say to father or mother, By the gift that is offered by me, thou maiest haue profite,
15:6	Though hee honour not his father, or his mother, shalbe free: thus haue ye made the commandement of God of no aucthoritie by your tradition.
15:7	O hypocrites, Esaias prophecied well of you, saying,
15:8	This people draweth neere vnto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with the lips, but their heart is farre off from me.
15:9	But in vaine they worship me, teaching for doctrines, mens precepts.

15:29	So Iesus went away from thence, and came neere vnto the sea of Galile, and went vp into a mountaine and sate downe there.
15:30	And great multitudes came vnto him, hauing with them, halt, blinde, dumme, maymed, and many other, and cast them downe at Iesus feete, and he healed them.
15:31	In so much that the multitude wondered, to see the dumme speake, the maimed whole, the halt to goe, and the blinde to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
15:32	Then Iesus called his disciples vnto him, and said, I haue compassion on this multitude, because they haue continued with mee already three dayes, and haue nothing to eate: and I wil not let them depart fasting, least they faint in the way.
15:33	And his disciples saide vnto him, Whence should we get so much bread in the wildernes, as should suffice so great a multitude!
15:34	And Iesus said vnto them, How many loaues haue ye? And they said, Seuen, and a few litle fishes.
15:35	Then he commanded the multitude to sit downe on the ground,
15:36	And tooke the seuen loaues, and the fishes, and gaue thankes, and brake them, and gaue to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
15:37	And they did all eate, and were sufficed: and they tooke vp of the fragments that remained, seuen baskets full.
15:38	And they that had eaten, were foure thousand men, beside women, and litle children.
15:39	Then Iesus sent away the multitude, and tooke ship, and came into the partes of Magdala.
