| 28:1 | The Saboth daye at euen which dauneth the morowe after the saboth. Mary Magdalene, & the other Marye came to se the sepulchre. |
| 28:2 | And beholde there was a great earthquake. For the aungell of the Lorde descended from heauen: & came & rowled backe the stone from the dore, and sat vpon it. |
| 28:3 | His countenaunce was lyke lyghtnyng, & his raymente whyte as snowe. |
| 28:4 | And for feare of him the kepers were astonnied and became as dead men. |

| 28:9 | And as they went to tell hys disciples: beholde, Iesus met them saying al hayle. And they came & helde him by the fete and worshypped him. |
| 28:10 | Then sayde Iesus vnto them: be not afrayd. Go and tel my brethren that they go into Galile, & there shal they se me. |
| 28:11 | When they were gone: beholde, some of the kepers came into the citye, & shewed vnto the hye Priestes all the thynges that were happened. |
| 28:12 | And they gathered them together with the elders, and toke counsel, & gaue large money vnto the souldiers, |
| 28:13 | sayinge: Saye that his discyples came by night, & stole hym away whyle ye slept: |
| 28:14 | and yf thys come to the rulers eares, we wyll pease him, & saue you harmles. |
| 28:15 | And they toke the money & did as thei were taughte. And this saiynge is noysed amonge the Iewes vnto thys daye. |
| 28:16 | Then the .xi. disciples wente away into Galile, into a mountayne wher Iesus had appointed them. |
| 28:17 | And when they sawe hym they worshipped hym. But some of them doubted. |
| 28:18 | And Iesus came and spake vnto them saiynge: all power is geuen vnto me in heauen and in earth. |
| 28:19 | Go therfore & teache all nacyons, baptisyng them in the name of the father, and the sonne, & the holye ghoste. |
| 28:20 | Teachyng then to obserue all thynges whatsoeuer I commaunded you, And lo I am with you alwaye, euen vntyll the ende of the worlde. |

| 28:13 | saying: Saye ye, that his disciples came by nyght & stole hym awaye whyle ye slept. |
| 28:14 | And yf this come to the rulers eares, we will persuade him, and saue you harmeles. |
| 28:15 | So they toke the money, & dyd as they were taught. And this sayinge is noysed amonge the Iewes vnto this daye. |
| 28:16 | Then the .xj. disciples went awaye into Galile, into a mountayne where Iesus had appoynted them. |
| 28:17 | And when they sawe him, they worshipped him. But some douted. |
| 28:18 | And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, sayinge: All power is geuen vnto me in heauen, & in erth. |
| 28:19 | Go ye therfore, & teach all nacions, baptising them in the name of the father, & of the sonne, & of the holy goost: |
| 28:20 | Teachinge them to obserue all thinges, whatsoeuer I haue commaunded you. And lo I am wyth you allwaye, euen vntyll the ende of the worlde. |

| 28:7 | And go quickly, and tel his disciples that he is risen from ye dead: and behold, he goeth before you into Galile: there ye shall see him: loe, I haue told you. |
| 28:8 | So they departed quickly from the sepulchre, with feare and great ioye, and did runne to bring his disciples worde. |
| 28:9 | And as they wet to tel his disciples, behold, Iesus also met the, saying, God saue you. And they came, and tooke him by the feete, and worshipped him. |
| 28:10 | Then said Iesus vnto them, Be not afraide. Goe, and tell my brethren, that they goe into Galile, and there shall they see me. |
| 28:11 | Nowe when they were gone, beholde, some of the watch came into the citie, and shewed vnto the hie Priestes all ye things that were done. |
| 28:12 | And they gathered them together with the Elders, and tooke counsell, and gaue large money vnto the souldiers, |
| 28:13 | Saying, Say, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. |
| 28:14 | And if this matter come before the gouernour to be heard, we will perswade him, and so vse the matter that you shall not neede to care. |
| 28:15 | So they tooke the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is noysed among the Iewes vnto this day. |
| 28:16 | Then ye eleuen disciples wet into Galile, into a mountaine, where Iesus had appointed the. |
| 28:17 | And when they sawe him, they worshipped him: but some douted. |
