>
33:1These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
33:2And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
33:3And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
33:4For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
33:5And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
33:6And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
33:7And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
33:8And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
33:9And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
33:10And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
33:11And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
33:12And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
33:13And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
33:14And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
33:15And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
33:16And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.
33:17And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
33:18And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
33:19And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.
33:20And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.
33:21And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
33:22And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
33:23And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
33:24And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
33:25And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
33:26And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
33:27And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
33:28And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
33:29And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
33:30And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
33:31And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.
33:32And they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.
33:33And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
33:34And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
33:35And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.
33:36And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
33:37And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
33:38And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
33:39And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
33:40And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
33:41And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
33:42And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
33:43And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
33:44And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.
33:45And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.
33:46And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.
33:47And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
33:48And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
33:49And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.
33:50And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
33:51Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
33:52Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
33:53And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
33:54And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
33:55But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
33:56Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

 
33:1אלה מסעי בני ישׂראל אשׁר יצאו מארץ מצרים לצבאתם ביד משׁה ואהרן׃
33:2ויכתב משׁה את מוצאיהם למסעיהם על פי יהוה ואלה מסעיהם למוצאיהם׃
33:3ויסעו מרעמסס בחדשׁ הראשׁון בחמשׁה עשׂר יום לחדשׁ הראשׁון ממחרת הפסח יצאו בני ישׂראל ביד רמה לעיני כל מצרים׃
33:4ומצרים מקברים את אשׁר הכה יהוה בהם כל בכור ובאלהיהם עשׂה יהוה שׁפטים׃
33:5ויסעו בני ישׂראל מרעמסס ויחנו בסכת׃
33:6ויסעו מסכת ויחנו באתם אשׁר בקצה המדבר׃
33:7ויסעו מאתם וישׁב על פי החירת אשׁר על פני בעל צפון ויחנו לפני מגדל׃
33:8ויסעו מפני החירת ויעברו בתוך הים המדברה וילכו דרך שׁלשׁת ימים במדבר אתם ויחנו במרה׃
33:9ויסעו ממרה ויבאו אילמה ובאילם שׁתים עשׂרה עינת מים ושׁבעים תמרים ויחנו שׁם׃
33:10ויסעו מאילם ויחנו על ים סוף׃
33:11ויסעו מים סוף ויחנו במדבר סין׃
33:12ויסעו ממדבר סין ויחנו בדפקה׃
33:13ויסעו מדפקה ויחנו באלושׁ׃
33:14ויסעו מאלושׁ ויחנו ברפידם ולא היה שׁם מים לעם לשׁתות׃
33:15ויסעו מרפידם ויחנו במדבר סיני׃
33:16ויסעו ממדבר סיני ויחנו בקברת התאוה׃
33:17ויסעו מקברת התאוה ויחנו בחצרת׃
33:18ויסעו מחצרת ויחנו ברתמה׃
33:19ויסעו מרתמה ויחנו ברמן פרץ׃
33:20ויסעו מרמן פרץ ויחנו בלבנה׃
33:21ויסעו מלבנה ויחנו ברסה׃
33:22ויסעו מרסה ויחנו בקהלתה׃
33:23ויסעו מקהלתה ויחנו בהר שׁפר׃

33:33ויסעו מחר הגדגד ויחנו ביטבתה׃
33:34ויסעו מיטבתה ויחנו בעברנה׃
33:35ויסעו מעברנה ויחנו בעצין גבר׃
33:36ויסעו מעצין גבר ויחנו במדבר צן הוא קדשׁ׃
33:37ויסעו מקדשׁ ויחנו בהר ההר בקצה ארץ אדום׃
33:38ויעל אהרן הכהן אל הר ההר על פי יהוה וימת שׁם בשׁנת הארבעים לצאת בני ישׂראל מארץ מצרים בחדשׁ החמישׁי באחד לחדשׁ׃
33:39ואהרן בן שׁלשׁ ועשׂרים ומאת שׁנה במתו בהר ההר׃
33:40וישׁמע הכנעני מלך ערד והוא ישׁב בנגב בארץ כנען בבא בני ישׂראל׃
33:41ויסעו מהר ההר ויחנו בצלמנה׃
33:42ויסעו מצלמנה ויחנו בפונן׃
33:43ויסעו מפונן ויחנו באבת׃
33:44ויסעו מאבת ויחנו בעיי העברים בגבול מואב׃
33:45ויסעו מעיים ויחנו בדיבן גד׃
33:46ויסעו מדיבן גד ויחנו בעלמן דבלתימה׃
33:47ויסעו מעלמן דבלתימה ויחנו בהרי העברים לפני נבו׃
33:48ויסעו מהרי העברים ויחנו בערבת מואב על ירדן ירחו׃
33:49ויחנו על הירדן מבית הישׁמת עד אבל השׁטים בערבת מואב׃
33:50וידבר יהוה אל משׁה בערבת מואב על ירדן ירחו לאמר׃
33:51דבר אל בני ישׂראל ואמרת אלהם כי אתם עברים את הירדן אל ארץ כנען׃
33:52והורשׁתם את כל ישׁבי הארץ מפניכם ואבדתם את כל משׂכיתם ואת כל צלמי מסכתם תאבדו ואת כל במותם תשׁמידו׃
33:53והורשׁתם את הארץ וישׁבתם בה כי לכם נתתי את הארץ לרשׁת אתה׃
33:54והתנחלתם את הארץ בגורל למשׁפחתיכם לרב תרבו את נחלתו ולמעט תמעיט את נחלתו אל אשׁר יצא לו שׁמה הגורל לו יהיה למטות אבתיכם תתנחלו׃
33:55ואם לא תורישׁו את ישׁבי הארץ מפניכם והיה אשׁר תותירו מהם לשׂכים בעיניכם ולצנינם בצדיכם וצררו אתכם על הארץ אשׁר אתם ישׁבים׃
33:56והיה כאשׁר דמיתי לעשׂות להם אעשׂה׃

 
33:1These `are' journeys of the sons of Israel who have come out of the land of Egypt, by their hosts, by the hand of Moses and Aaron;
33:2and Moses writeth their outgoings, by their journeys, by the command of Jehovah; and these `are' their journeys, by their outgoings:
33:3And they journey from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover have the sons of Israel gone out with a high hand, before the eyes of all the Egyptians --
33:4and the Egyptians are burying those whom Jehovah hath smitten among them, every first-born, and on their gods hath Jehovah done judgments --
33:5and the sons of Israel journey from Rameses, and encamp in Succoth.
33:6And they journey from Succoth, and encamp in Etham, which `is' in the extremity of the wilderness;
33:7and they journey from Etham, and turn back on Pi-Hahiroth, which `is' on the front of Baal-Zephon, and they encamp before Migdol.
33:8And they journey from Pi-Hahiroth, and pass over through the midst of the sea, into the wilderness, and go a journey of three days in the wilderness of Etham, and encamp in Marah.
33:9And they journey from Marah, and come in to Elim, and in Elim `are' twelve fountains of waters, and seventy palm trees, and they encamp there;
33:10and they journey from Elim, and encamp by the Red Sea.
33:11And they journey from the Red Sea, and encamp in the wilderness of Sin;
33:12and they journey from the wilderness of Sin, and encamp in Dophkah.
33:13And they journey from Dophkah, and encamp in Alush;
33:14and they journey from Alush, and encamp in Rephidim; and there was there no water for the people to drink.
33:15And they journey from Rephidim, and encamp in the wilderness of Sinai;
33:16and they journey from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamp in Kibroth-Hattaavah.
33:17And they journey from Kibroth-Hattaavah, and encamp in Hazeroth;
33:18and they journey from Hazeroth, and encamp in Rithmah.
33:19And they journey from Rithmah, and encamp in Rimmon-Parez;
33:20and they journey from Rimmon-Parez, and encamp in Libnah.
33:21And they journey from Libnah, and encamp in Rissah;
33:22and they journey from Rissah, and encamp in Kehelathah.
33:23And they journey from Kehelathah, and encamp in mount Shapher;
33:24and they journey from mount Shapher, and encamp in Haradah.
33:25And they journey from Haradah, and encamp in Makheloth;
33:26and they journey from Makheloth, and encamp in Tahath.
33:27And they journey from Tahath, and encamp in Tarah;
33:28and they journey from Tarah, and encamp in Mithcah.
33:29And they journey from Mithcah, and encamp in Hashmonah;
33:30and they journey from Hashmonah, and encamp in Moseroth.
33:31And they journey from Moseroth, and encamp in Bene-Jaakan;
33:32and they journey from Bene-Jaakan, and encamp at Hor-Hagidgad.
33:33And they journey from Hor-Hagidgad, and encamp in Jotbathah;
33:34and they journey from Jotbathah, and encamp in Ebronah.
33:35And they journey from Ebronah, and encamp in Ezion-Gaber;
33:36and they journey from Ezion-Gaber, and encamp in the wilderness of Zin, which `is' Kadesh.
33:37And they journey from Kadesh, and encamp in mount Hor, in the extremity of the land of Edom.
33:38And Aaron the priest goeth up unto mount Hor, by the command of Jehovah, and dieth there, in the fortieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month;
33:39and Aaron `is' a son of a hundred and twenty and three years in his dying in mount Hor.
33:40And the Canaanite -- king Arad -- who is dwelling in the south, in the land of Canaan, heareth of the coming of the sons of Israel.
33:41And they journey from mount Hor, and encamp in Zalmonah;
33:42and they journey from Zalmonah, and encamp in Punon.
33:43And they journey from Punon, and encamp in Oboth;
33:44and they journey from Oboth, and encamp in Ije-Abarim, in the border of Moab.

33:49And they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-Jeshimoth, unto Abel-Shittim, in the plains of Moab.
33:50And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, `near' Jericho, saying,
33:51`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye are passing over the Jordan unto the land of Canaan,
33:52then ye have dispossessed all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and have destroyed all their imagery, yea, all their molten images ye destroy, and all their high places ye lay waste,
33:53and ye have possessed the land, and dwelt in it, for to you I have given the land -- to possess it.
33:54`And ye have inherited the land by lot, by your families; to the many ye increase their inheritance, and to the few ye diminish their inheritance; whither the lot goeth out to him, it is his; by the tribes of your fathers ye inherit.
33:55`And if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it hath been, those whom ye let remain of them, `are' for pricks in your eyes, and for thorns in your sides, and they have distressed you on the land in which ye are dwelling,
33:56and it hath come to pass, as I thought to do to them -- I do to you.'
