11:8And many strewiden her clothis in the weie, othere men kittiden braunchis fro trees, and strewiden in the weie.
11:9And thei that wenten bifor, and that sueden, crieden, and seiden, Osanna,

11:11And he entride in to Jerusalem, in to the temple; and whanne he `hadde seyn al thing aboute, whanne it was eue, he wente out in to Betanye, with the twelue.
11:12And anothir daye, whanne he wente out of Betanye, he hungride.
11:13And whanne he hadde seyn a fige tree afer hauynge leeues, he cam, if happili he schulde fynde ony thing theron; and whanne he cam to it, he foonde no thing, out takun leeues; for it was not tyme of figis.
11:14And Jhesus answeride and seide to it, Now neuer ete ony man fruyt of thee more. And hise disciplis herden;
11:15and thei camen to Jerusalem. And whanne he was entrid in to the temple, he bigan to caste out silleris and biggeris in the temple; and he turnede vpsodoun the bordis of chaungeris, and the chayeris of men that selden culueris;
11:16and he suffride not, that ony man schulde bere a vessel thorou the temple.
11:17And he tauyte hem, and seide, Whether it is not writun, That myn hous schal be clepid the hous of preyng to alle folkis? but ye han maad it a denne of theues.
11:18And whanne this thing was herd, the princis of prestis and scribis souyten hou thei schulden leese hym; for thei dredden hym, for al the puple wondride on his techyng.
11:19And whanne euenyng was come, he wente out of the citee.
11:20And as thei passiden forth eerli, thei sayn the fige tree maad drye fro the rootis.
11:21And Petir bithouyte hym, and seide to hym, Maister, lo! the fige tree, whom thou cursidist, is dried vp.
11:22And Jhesus answeride and seide to hem, Haue ye the feith of God;
11:23treuli Y seie to you, that who euer seith to this hil, Be thou takun, and cast in to the see; and doute not in his herte, but bileueth, that what euer he seie, schal be don, it schal be don to hym.
11:24Therfor Y seie to you, alle thingis what euer thingis ye preynge schulen axe, bileue ye that ye schulen take, and thei schulen come to you.
11:25And whanne ye schulen stonde to preye, foryyue ye, if ye han ony thing ayens ony man, that youre fadir that is in heuenes, foryyue to you youre synnes.
11:26And if ye foryyuen not, nether youre fadir that is in heuenes, schal foryyue to you youre synnes.
11:27And eftsoone thei camen to Jerusalem. And whanne he walkide in the temple, the hiyeste prestis, and scribis, and the elder men camen to hym,
11:28and seyn to hym, In what power doist thou these thingis? or who yaf to thee this power, that thou do these thingis?
11:29Jhesus answeride and seide to hem, And Y schal axe you o word, and answere ye to me, and Y schal seie to you in what power Y do these thingis.
11:30Whether was the baptym of Joon of heuene, or of men? answere ye to me.
11:31And thei thouyten with ynne hem silf, seiynge, If we seien of heuene, he schal seie to vs, Whi thanne bileuen ye not to him;
11:32if we seien of men, we dreden the puple; for alle men hadden Joon, that he was verili a prophete.
11:33And thei answeryden, and seien to Jhesu, We witen neuer. And Jhesu answerde, and seide to hem, Nether Y seie to you, in what power Y do these thingis.

11:1And when they came neere to Hierusalem, to Bethphage and Bethania vnto the mount of Oliues, he sent forth two of his disciples,
11:2And sayd vnto them, Goe your wayes into that towne that is ouer against you, and assoone as ye shall enter into it, ye shall finde a colte tied, whereon neuer man sate: loose him, and bring him.
11:3And if any man say vnto you, Why doe ye this? Say that the Lord hath neede of him, and straightway he will send him hither.
11:4And they went their way, and found a colt tyed by the doore without, in a place where two wayes met, and they loosed him.
11:5Then certaine of them, that stoode there, sayd vnto them, What doe ye loosing the colt?
11:6And they sayde vnto them, as Iesus had commanded them: So they let them goe.
11:7And they brought the colte to Iesus, and cast their garments on him, and he sate vpon him.
11:8And many spred their garments in the way: other cut downe branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
11:9And they that went before, and they that folowed, cryed, saying, Hosanna: blessed be hee that commeth in the Name of the Lord.
11:10Blessed be the kingdome that commeth in the Name of the Lord of our father Dauid: Hosanna, O thou which art in the highest heauens.
11:11So Iesus entred into Hierusalem, and into the Temple: and when he had looked about on all things, and now it was euening, he went forth vnto Bethania with the twelue.
11:12And on the morowe when they were come out from Bethania, he was hungry.
11:13And seeing a fig tree afarre off, that had leaues, he went to see if he might finde any thing thereon: but when he came vnto it, hee found nothing but leaues: for the time of figges was not yet.
11:14Then Iesus answered, and sayd to it, Neuer man eate fruite of thee hereafter while the world standeth: and his disciples heard it.
11:15And they came to Hierusalem, and Iesus went into the Temple, and began to cast out them that solde and bought in the Temple, and ouerthrewe the tables of the money changers, and the seates of them that solde doues.
11:16Neither would hee suffer that any man should cary a vessell through the Temple.
11:17And he taught, saying vnto them, Is it not written, Mine house shalbe called the house of prayer vnto all nations? but you haue made it a denne of theeues.
11:18And the Scribes and hie Priestes heard it, and sought howe to destroy him: for they feared him, because the whole multitude was astonied at his doctrine.
11:19But when euen was come, Iesus went out of the citie.
11:20And in the morning as they iourneyed together, they saw the figge tree dried vp from the rootes.
11:21Then Peter remembred, and said vnto him, Master, beholde, the figge tree which thou cursedst, is withered.
11:22And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Haue the faith of God.
11:23For verely I say vnto you, that whosoeuer shall say vnto this mountaine, Be thou taken away, and cast into the sea, and shall not wauer in his heart, but shall beleeue that those things which he saieth, shall come to passe, whatsoeuer he saieth, shall be done to him.
11:24Therefore I say vnto you, Whatsoeuer ye desire when ye pray, beleeue that ye shall haue it, and it shalbe done vnto you.
11:25But when ye shall stand, and pray, forgiue, if ye haue any thing against any man, that your Father also which is in heauen, may forgiue you your trespasses.
11:26For if you will not forgiue, your Father which is in heauen, will not pardon you your trespasses.
11:27Then they came againe to Hierusalem: and as he walked in the Temple, there came to him ye hie Priestes, and the Scribes, and the Elders,
11:28And said vnto him, By what authoritie doest thou these things? and who gaue thee this authoritie, that thou shouldest doe these things?
11:29Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, I will also aske of you a certaine thing, and answere ye me, and I will tell you by what authoritie I do these things.
11:30The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men? answere me.
11:31And they thought with themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then did ye not beleeue him?
11:32But if we say, Of men, we feare the people: for all men counted Iohn, that he was a Prophet in deede.
11:33Then they answered, and saide vnto Iesus, We cannot tell. And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Neither will I tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.

11:1Now when they came near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent out two of His disciples;
11:2and He said to them, "Go your way into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered into it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose him and bring him."
11:3And if anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say that, 'The Lord has need of him,' and immediately he will send him here."
11:4So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside in a place where two roads meet, and they loosed him.
11:5But some of those who stood there said to them, "What are you doing, loosing the colt?"
11:6And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go.
11:7Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on him, and He sat upon him.
11:8And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
11:9Then those who went before and those who followed shouted, saying: "Hosanna! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!'
11:10Blessed be the kingdom of our father David that comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"
11:11And Jesus entered into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
11:12Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry.
11:13And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. And when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, because it was not yet the season for figs.
11:14And Jesus responded and said to it, "Let no one eat fruit from you ever again." And His disciples heard it.
11:15Then they came to Jerusalem. And Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.
11:16And He would not permit anyone to carry any vessel through the temple.
11:17Then He taught, saying to them, "Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
11:18And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; because they feared Him, as all the people were astonished at His doctrine.
11:19And when evening had come, He went out of the city.
11:20Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
11:21And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Teacher, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away."
11:22So Jesus replied and said to them, "Have faith in God."
11:23Because, truly, I say to you, whoever shall say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says."
11:24Therefore I say to you, whatever things you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
11:25"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses."
11:26But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."
11:27Then they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Him.
11:28And they said to Him, "By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority to do these things?"
11:29But Jesus answered and said to them, "I also will ask you one question; then answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things:"
11:30The baptism of John, was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me."
11:31And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "If we shall say, 'From heaven,' He will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?'
11:32But if we say, 'From men,'" they feared the people, because, everyone counted John to have been a prophet indeed.
11:33So they answered and said to Jesus, "We cannot tell." And Jesus replied and said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
