Mark - Chapter: 13

>
13:1And as he went out of the temple one of hys disciples sayde vnto hym: Maister, se what stones, & what buyldynges are here.
13:2And Iesus aunswered, and sayd vnto hym: Seest thou these greate buyldinges? There shall not be left one stone vpon another, that shall not be throwen doune.
13:3And as he sate on mounte Olyuete, ouer agaynst the temple, Peter, & Iames, & Iohn, & Andrewe axed hym secretelye:
13:4tell vs, when shall these thynges be? And what is the sygne when all these thynges shalbe fulfylled?
13:5and Iesus aunswered them, and began to saye: take hede leste any man deceyue you.
13:6For manye shall come in my name, sayinge: I am Christ, and shall deceyue manye.
13:7When ye shal heare of warre, and tydynges of warre, be ye not troubled. For suche thynges muste nedes be. But the ende is not yet.
13:8For there shall nacyon aryse agaynst nacyon, and kingdom agaynst kyngdome. And there shalbe earthquakes in all quarters, & famyshment and troubles. These are the begynnynge of sorowes.
13:9But take ye hede to your selues. For they shall brynge you vp to the counsels, and into the synagoges, & ye shall be beaten: ye & shalbe broughte forthe rulers & kynges for my sake for a testimoniall vnto them.
13:10And the Gospel muste fyrste be publyshed amonge all nacyons.
13:11But when they leade you, and present you, take no thoughte afore hande, what ye, shal saye, neither ymagin: but whatsoeuer is geuen you at the same tyme, that speake. For it shall not be ye that shall speake, but the holy ghost.
13:12Ye, and the brother shal deliuer the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall ryse agaynst theyr fathers and mothers, and shal put them to death.
13:13And ye shal be hated of all men for my names sake. But whosoeuer shall endure vnto the ende, the same shalbe safe.
13:14Moreouer, when ye se the abhomynacyon that betokeneth desolacion, whereof is spoken by Daniel the Prophet, stande where it oughte not, let hym that readeth vnderstand, then let them that be in Iurye, fle to the mountaynes.
13:15And let hym that is on the house top, not descended doune into the house, neither enter therein, to fetche any thynge oute of hys house.
13:16And let hym that is in the fielde: not tourne backe agayne vnto the thynges, which he lefte behynde hym for to take hys clothes with hym.
13:17Woo is then to them that are with chyld, and to them that geue soucke in those dayes.
13:18But praye, that your flight be not in the winter.
13:19For there shalbe in those dayes such trybulacyon, as was not from the beginning of creatures whiche God created, vnto thys time, neyther shalbe.
13:20And except that the Lord shoulde shorten those dayes, no man shoulde be saued. But for the electes sake which he hath chosen, he hath shortened those dayes.
13:21And then, yf any man say to you: lo, here is Christ, lo, he is there: beleue not,
13:22for false Christes shal ryse, and false prophetes, and shall shewe myracles and wondres, to deceyue yf it were possible, euen the elect.
13:23But take ye hede: beholde I haue shewed you all thynges before.
13:24Moreouer in those dayes, after that trybulacyon, the sonne shall waxe darke, and the moone shal not geue her light,
13:25and the starres of heauen shall fal: and the powers which are in heauen shall moue.
13:26And then shall they se the sonne of man comyng in the cloudes with great power and glorye.
13:27And then shal he send hys angels, & shall gather together his electe from the foure wyndes, and from the one ende of the worlde to the other.
13:28Learne a symylytude of the fygge tree. When hys braunches are yet tender, & hathe brought forth leaues: ye know that the somer is neare,
13:29so in like maner when ye se these thinges come to passe: vnderstande, that it is nye euen at the dores.
13:30Verelye I saye vnto you, that thys generacyon shall not passe, tyll all these thynges be done.
13:31Heauen and earth shal passe, but my wordes shall not passe.
13:32But of the daye & houre knoweth no man: no not the Aungels whiche are in heauen neyther the sonne him selfe saue the father onelye.
13:33Take hede, watche and pray, forth ye know not when the tyme is.
13:34As a man whiche is gone into a straunge countreye, and hath left hys house, and geuen authorite to his seruauntes, and euerye man hys worke, and commaunded the porter to watche.
13:35Watche therfore, for ye knowe not when the mayster of the house wyll come: whether at euen, or at mydnyght: whether at the cocke crowynge or in the dawnynge,
13:36leste yf he come sodenlye, he shoulde fynde you slepynge.
13:37And that I saye vnto you: I saye vnto all men, watche.

13:1And as he went out of the Temple, one of his disciples said vnto him, Master, see what maner stones, and what maner buildings are here.
13:2Then Iesus answered and saide vnto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone vpon a stone, that shall not be throwen downe.
13:3And as he sate on the mount of Oliues, ouer against the Temple, Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and Andrew asked him secretly,
13:4Tell vs, when shall these things be? and what shalbe the signe when all these things shalbe fulfilled?
13:5And Iesus answered them, and began to say, Take heede lest any man deceiue you.
13:6For many shall come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceiue many.
13:7Furthermore when ye shall heare, of warres, and rumours of warres, be ye not troubled: for such things must needes be: but the end shall not be yet.
13:8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdome against kingdome, and there shalbe earthquakes in diuers quarters, and there shalbe famine and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorowes.
13:9But take ye heede to your selues: for they shall deliuer you vp to the Councils, and to the Synagogues: ye shalbe beaten, and brought before rulers and Kings for my sake, for a testimoniall vnto them.
13:10And the Gospel must first be published among all nations.
13:11But when they leade you, and deliuer you vp, be not carefull before hand, neither studie what ye shall say: but what is giuen you at the same time, that speake: for it is not ye that speake, but the holy Ghost.
13:12Yea, and the brother shall deliuer the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.
13:13And ye shall be hated of all men for my Names sake: but whosoeuer shall endure vnto the end, he shalbe saued.
13:14Moreouer, when ye shall see the abomination of desolation (spoken of by Daniel the Prophet) set where it ought not, (let him that readeth, consider it) then let them that be in Iudea, flee into the mountaines,
13:15And let him that is vpon the house, not come downe into the house, neither enter therein, to fetch any thing out of his house.
13:16And let him that is in the fielde, not turne backe againe to take his garment.
13:17Then wo shalbe to the that are with child, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes.
13:18Pray therefore that your flight be not in the winter.
13:19For those dayes shalbe such tribulation, as was not from the beginning of ye creation which God created vnto this time, neither shalbe.
13:20And except that the Lord had shortened those dayes, no flesh shoulde be saued: but for the elects sake, which he hath chosen, he hath shortened those dayes.
13:21Then if any man say to you, Loe, here is Christ, or, lo, he is there, beleeue it not.
13:22For false Christes shall rise, and false prophets, and shall shewe signes and wonders, to deceiue if it were possible the very elect.
13:23But take ye heede: beholde, I haue shewed you all things before.
13:24Moreouer in those dayes, after that tribulation, the sunne shall waxe darke, and ye moone shall not giue her light,
13:25And the starres of heauen shall fall: and the powers which are in heauen, shall shake.
13:26And then shall they see the Sonne of man comming in ye cloudes, with great power and glory.
13:27And he shall then send his Angels, and shall gather together his elect from the foure windes, and from the vtmost part of the earth to the vtmost part of heauen.
13:28Nowe learne a parable of the figge tree. When her bough is yet tender, and it bringeth foorth leaues, ye knowe that sommer is neere.
13:29So in like maner, when ye see these things come to passe, knowe that the kingdom of God is neere, euen at the doores.
13:30Verely I say vnto you, that this generation shall not passe, till all these things be done.
13:31Heauen and earth shall passe away, but my woordes shall not passe away.
13:32But of that day and houre knoweth no man, no, not the Angels which are in heauen, neither the Sonne himselfe, but the Father.
13:33Take heede: watch, and praie: for yee knowe not when the time is.
13:34For the Sonne of man is as a man going into a strange countrey, and leaueth his house, and giueth authoritie to his seruaunts, and to euery man his woorke, and commandeth the porter to watch.
13:35Watch ye therefore, (for ye know not whe ye master of the house will come, at eue, or at midnight, at the cocke crowing, or in the dawning,)
13:36Least if he come suddenly, he should finde you sleeping.
13:37And those things that I say vnto you, I say vnto all men, Watch.

13:1And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
13:2And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
13:3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
13:4Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
13:5And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
13:6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
13:7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
13:8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
13:9But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
13:10And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
13:11But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
13:12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13:13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
13:14But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
13:15And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
13:16And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
13:17But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
13:18And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
13:19For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
13:20And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
13:21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
13:22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
13:23But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
13:24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
13:25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
13:26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
13:27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
13:28Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
13:29So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
13:30Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
13:31Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
13:32But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
13:33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
13:34For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
13:35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
13:36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
13:37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
