16:1	And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Iames, and Salome, had bought sweete spices, that they might come and anoint him.
16:2	And very early in the morning, the first day of the week they came vnto the sepulchre, at the rising of the sunne:
16:3	And they said among themselues, who shall roll vs away the stone from the doore of the sepulchre?
16:4	(And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away) for it was very great.
16:5	And entring into the sepulchre, they sawe a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment, and they were affrighted.
16:6	And hee sayth vnto them, Be not affrighted; ye seeke Iesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen, hee is not here: behold the place where they laide him.
16:7	But goe your way, tell his disciples, and Peter, that hee goeth before you into Galile, there shall ye see him, as he said vnto you.
16:8	And they went out quickely, and fledde from the sepulchre, for they trembled, and were amazed, neither sayd they any thing to any man, for they were afraid.
16:9	Now when Iesus was risen early, the first day of the weeke, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seuen deuils.
16:10	And she went and told them that had beene with him, as they mourned and wept.
16:11	And they, when they had heard that he was aliue, and had beene seene of her, beleeued not.
16:12	After that, he appeared in another forme vnto two of them, as they walked, and went into the countrey.
16:13	And they went and tolde it vnto the residue, neither beleeued they them.
16:14	Afterward he appeared vnto the eleuen, as they sate at meat, and vpbraided them with their vnbeliefe, and hardnesse of heart, because they beleeued not them, which had seene him after he was risen.
16:15	And he said vnto them, Goe yee into all the world, and preach the Gospel to euery creature.
16:16	He that beleeueth and is baptized, shalbe saued, but he that beleeueth not, shall be damned.
16:17	And these signes shal follow them that beleeue, In my Name shall they cast out deuils, they shall speake with new tongues,
16:18	They shall take vp serpents, and if they drinke any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sicke, and they shall recouer.
16:19	So then after the Lord had spoken vnto them, he was receiued vp into heauen, and sate on the right hand of God.
16:20	And they went foorth, and preached euery where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the worde with signes following. Amen.


16:1	And whe the Sabboth day was past, Marie Magdalen and Marie [the mother] of Iames, & Salome, bought sweete smellynge oyntmentes, that they myght come and annoynt hym.
16:2	And early in the mornyng, the first day of the Sabbothes, they came vnto the sepulchre, when the sunne was rysen:
16:3	And they sayde among them selues, who shall roule vs away the stone from the doore of the sepulchre?
16:4	And when they loked, they sawe how that the stone was rouled awaye, for it was a very great one.
16:5	And they went into the sepulchre, and sawe a young man syttyng on the ryght syde, clothed in a long whyte garment, and they were amased.
16:6	And he sayth vnto them, be not amased: ye seke Iesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: He is risen, he is not here, beholde the place where they had put hym.
16:7	But go your way, & tell his disciples, and Peter, that he goeth before you into Galilee, there shall ye see hym, as he saide vnto you.
16:8	And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre, for they trembled & were amased: neither sayde they any thing to any man, for they were afraide.
16:9	When [Iesus] was rysen early, the first [day] after the Sabboth, he appeared firste to Marie Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seuen deuils.
16:10	And she went & tolde them that were with hym, as they mourned & wept.
16:11	And they, when they hearde that he was alyue, and had ben seene of her, beleued it not.
16:12	After that, appeared he vnto two of them in another fourme, as they walked and went into the countrey.
16:13	And they went and tolde it vnto the residue: and [they] beleued not these also.
16:14	Afterwarde, he appeared vnto the eleuen, as they sate at meate, and cast in their teeth their vnbeliefe and hardnes of heart, because they beleued not them whiche had seene that he was rysen agayne from the dead.
16:15	And he sayde vnto them: Go ye into all the worlde, and preache the Gospell to all creatures.
16:16	He that beleueth, and is baptized, shalbe saued: But he that beleueth not, shalbe dampned.
16:17	And these tokens shall folowe them that beleue. In my name they shal cast out deuils, they shall speake with newe tongues,
16:18	They shall driue away serpentes: and yf they drinke any deadly thyng, it shall not hurte them: They shall lay their handes on the sicke, & they shal recouer.
16:19	So then, when the Lorde had spoken vnto them, he was receaued into heauen, and sate hym downe on the ryght hande of God.
16:20	And they went foorth, and preached euerywhere, the Lorde workyng with them, and confirmyng the worde with signes folowyng.

16:7	But goe your way, and tell his disciples, and Peter, that he will goe before you into Galile: there shall ye see him, as he said vnto you.
16:8	And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre: for they trembled, and were amased: neither said they any thing to any man: for they were afraide.
16:9	And when Iesus was risen againe, early the first day of the weeke, he appeared first to Marie Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seuen deuils:
16:10	And shee went and tolde them that had bene with him, which mourned and wept.
16:11	And when they heard that he was aliue, and had appeared to her, they beleeued it not.
16:12	After that, he appeared vnto two of them in an other forme, as they walked and went into the countrey.
16:13	And they went, and told it to the remnant, neither beleeued they them.
16:14	Finally, he appeared vnto the eleuen as they sate together, and reproched them for their vnbeliefe and hardnesse of heart, because they beleeued not them which had seene him, being risen vp againe.
16:15	And he saide vnto them, Goe ye into all the worlde, and preach the Gospel to euery creature.
16:16	He that shall beleeue and be baptized, shalbe saued: but he that will not beleeue, shalbe damned.
