| 21:1 | As he behelde, he sawe the ryche men how they cast in theyr offerynges into the treasurye, |
| 21:2 | And he sawe a certayne poore wydowe, whiche caste in thyther two mytes. |
| 21:3 | And he sayde: of a truethe I saye vnto you: this poore widow hath put in more then they all. |
| 21:4 | For they all haue of theyr superfluite added vnto the offering of god: but, she, of her penurye hath caste in all the substaunce that she had. |
| 21:5 | As some spake of the tempell, howe it was garnished wyth goodly stones and yewels, he sayde: |
| 21:6 | The dayes will come, when of these thinges which ye se shal not be left stone vpon stone, that shall not be throwen doune. |
| 21:7 | And they axed him saiynge: Maister when shall these thinges be, and what sygne wyll ther be, when such thinges shall come to passe. |
| 21:8 | And he sayd: take hede that ye be not deceiued. For manye wyll come in my name saiynge: I am he and the tyme draweth neare. Folowe not them therfore. |
| 21:9 | But when ye heare of warre and dissencion, be not afrayed. For these thinges muste fyrste come: but the ende foloweth not by & by. |
| 21:10 | Then sayd he vnto them: Nacion shall ryse against nacion, and kingdom against kingdom, |
| 21:11 | and great earthquakes shall be in all quarters and honger, and pestilence and fearfull thinges. And great sygnes shall ther be from heauen. |
| 21:12 | But before all these, they shall laye their handes on you and persecute you, delyueringe you vp to the Synagoges & into pryson, and bringe you before kinges and rulers for my names sake. |
| 21:13 | And this shall chaunce you for a testimoniall. |
| 21:14 | Let it stycke therfore faste in your hertes, not once to studye before what ye shall aunswere: |
| 21:15 | For I wyll geue you a mouthe and wisdome, where against all youre aduersaries shall not be able to speake nor resyste. |
| 21:16 | Yea and ye shalbe betrayed of your fathers and mothers, and of your brethren, and kinsmen and louers, and some of you shal they put to death. |
| 21:17 | And hated shall ye be of all men for my names sake. |
| 21:18 | Yet there shal not one heare of your heades perishe. |
| 21:19 | With your pacience possesse your soules. |
| 21:20 | And when ye se Ierusalem beseged with an hoste, then vnderstande that the solacion of the same is nye. |
| 21:21 | Then let them which are in Iwrye fly the to mountaines. And let them which are in the middes of it depart out. And let not them that are in other countries, enter therin. |
| 21:22 | For these be the dayes of vengeaunce, to fulfil all that are written. |
| 21:23 | But wo be to them that be with chylde, and to them that geue sucke in those dayes: for ther shalbe great trouble in the lande, and wrath ouer all this people. |
| 21:24 | And they shall fall on the edge of the swearde, and shalbe lead captyue into all nacyons. And Ierusalem shalbe troden vnder fote of the gentyls vntyll the tyme of the gentyls be fulfylled. |
| 21:25 | And ther shalbe signes in the sunne, and in the mone, and in the starres: & in the earth, the people shalbe in such perplexitye, that they shall not tel which waye to turne them selues. The sea and the waters shall roore, |
| 21:26 | and mens hertes shall fayle them for feare, & for lokinge after those thinges whiche shall come on the earth. For the powers of heauen shal moue. |
| 21:27 | And then shall they se the sonne of man come in a cloude with power and great glory. |
| 21:28 | When these thynges beginne to come to passe then loke vp, and lift vp your heades, for youre redempcion draweth nye. |
| 21:29 | And he sheweth them a symilytude: behold the fygge tre, and all other trees, |
| 21:30 | when they shut forth their buddes, ye se and knowe of your owne selues that sommer is then nye at hande. |
| 21:31 | So likewyse ye (when ye se these thinges come to passe) vnderstande that the kingdome of God is nye. |
| 21:32 | Verelye I saye vnto you this generacion shall not passe tyll all be fulfylled. |
| 21:33 | Heauen and earth shall passe: but my wordes shall not passe. |
| 21:34 | Take hede to your selues, lest youre hertes be ouercome with surfetinge and dronkenes and cares of this worlde: and that that day come not on you vnwares. |
| 21:35 | For as a snare shall it come on all them that syt on the earth. |
| 21:36 | Watche therfore contynuallye and praye, that ye may obtayne grace to flye all this that shal come, and that ye may stande before the sonne of man. |
| 21:37 | In the daye tyme, he taught in the tempell and at night, he went out and had abiding in the mounte Oliuete. |
| 21:38 | And all the people came in the morninge to hym in the tempell, for to heare hym. |

| 21:7 | And they asked hym sayinge: Master, when shall these thynges be, and what sygne wyll ther be when soch thynges come to passe? |
| 21:8 | And he sayde: take hede, that ye be not deceaued. For many shall come in my name, and saye that they are Chryst: and the tyme draweth neare. Folowe ye not them therfore. |
| 21:9 | But when ye heare of warres and sedicions, be not afrayed. For these thynges must first come to passe, but the ende foloweth not by and by. |
| 21:10 | Then sayde he vnto them: Nacion shall ryse agaynst nacion, & kyngdome agaynst kyngdome, |

| 21:19 | Possesse ye youre soule by pacience. |
| 21:20 | And when ye se Ierusalem beseged wyth an hoste, then be sure that the desolacyon, of the same is nye. |
| 21:21 | Then let them which are in Iewrye, flye to the mountaynes. And let them whych are in the myddes of it, departe out. And let not them that are in other countreyes, enter therin. |
| 21:22 | For these be the dayes of vengeaunce, that all thynges which are wrytten, maye be fulfylled. |

| 21:6 | Are these ye things that ye looke vpon? the dayes will come wherein a stone shall not be left vpon a stone, that shall not be throwen downe. |
| 21:7 | Then they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what signe shall there be when these things shall come to passe? |
| 21:8 | And he sayd, Take heede, that ye be not deceiued: for many will come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and the time draweth neere: follow ye not them therefore. |
| 21:9 | And when ye heare of warres and seditions, be not afraid: for these things must first come, but the ende foloweth not by and by. |
| 21:10 | Then said hee vnto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdome against kingdome, |
| 21:11 | And great earthquakes shall be in diuers places, and hunger, and pestilence, and fearefull things, and great signes shall there be from heauen. |
| 21:12 | But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, deliuering you vp to the assemblies, and into prisons, and bring you before Kings and rulers for my Names sake. |
| 21:13 | And this shall turne to you, for a testimoniall. |
| 21:14 | Lay it vp therefore in your heartes, that ye cast not before hand, what ye shall answere. |
| 21:15 | For I will giue you a mouth and wisdome, where against all your aduersaries shall not be able to speake, nor resist. |
| 21:16 | Yea, ye shalbe betrayed also of your parents, and of your brethren, and kinsmen, and friendes, and some of you shall they put to death. |
| 21:17 | And ye shall bee hated of all men for my Names sake. |
| 21:18 | Yet there shall not one heare of your heads perish. |
| 21:19 | By your patience possesse your soules. |
| 21:20 | And when ye see Hierusalem besieged with souldiers, then vnderstand that the desolation thereof is neere. |
| 21:21 | Then let them which are in Iudea, flee to the mountaines: and let them which are in the middes thereof, depart out: and let not them that are in the countrey, enter therein. |
| 21:22 | For these be the dayes of vengeance, to fulfill all things that are written. |
| 21:23 | But woe be to them that be with childe, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes: for there shalbe great distresse in this land, and wrath ouer this people. |
| 21:24 | And they shall fall on the edge of the sword, and shalbe led captiue into all nations, and Hierusalem shalbe troden vnder foote of the Gentiles, vntill the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled. |
| 21:25 | Then there shalbe signes in the sunne, and in the moone, and in the starres, and vpon the earth trouble among the nations with perplexitie: the sea and the waters shall roare. |
| 21:26 | And mens hearts shall faile them for feare, and for looking after those thinges which shall come on the worlde: for the powers of heauen shall be shaken. |
| 21:27 | And then shall they see the Sonne of man come in a cloude, with power and great glory. |
| 21:28 | And when these things beginne to come to passe, then looke vp, and lift vp your heades: for your redemption draweth neere. |
| 21:29 | And he spake to them a parable, Behold, the figge tree, and all trees, |
| 21:30 | When they nowe shoote foorth, ye seeing them, knowe of your owne selues, that sommer is then neere. |
| 21:31 | So likewise yee, when yee see these thinges come to passe, knowe ye that the kingdome of God is neere. |
| 21:32 | Verely I say vnto you, This age shall not passe, till all these things be done: |
| 21:33 | Heauen and earth shall passe away, but my wordes shall not passe away. |
| 21:34 | Take heede to your selues, lest at any time your hearts be oppressed with surfeting and drunkennesse, and cares of this life, and least that day come on you at vnwares. |
| 21:35 | For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. |
| 21:36 | Watche therefore, and pray continually, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these thinges that shall come to passe, and that ye may stand before the Sonne of man. |
| 21:37 | Nowe in the day time hee taught in the Temple, and at night hee went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Oliues. |
| 21:38 | And all the people came in the morning to him, to heare him in the Temple. |
