| 10:1 | Jhesus seide to hem, If ye weren blynde, ye schulden not haue synne; but now ye seien, That we seen, youre synne dwellith stille. |
| 10:2 | Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, he that cometh not in by the dore in to the foold of scheep, but stieth bi another weie, is a nyyt theef and a dai theef. |
| 10:3 | But he that entrith bi the dore, is the scheepherde of the scheep. |
| 10:4 | To this the porter openeth, and the scheep heren his vois, and he clepith his owne scheep bi name, and ledith hem out. |
| 10:5 | And whanne he hath don out his owne scheep, he goith bifor hem, and the scheep suen hym; for thei knowun his vois. |
| 10:6 | But thei suen not an alien, but fleen from hym; for thei han not knowun the vois of aliens. |
| 10:7 | Jhesus seide to hem this prouerbe; but thei knewen not what he spak to hem. |
| 10:8 | Therfor Jhesus seide to hem eftsoone, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, that Y am the dore of the scheep. |
| 10:9 | As many as han come, weren nyyt theues and day theues, but the scheep herden not hem. |
| 10:10 | Y am the dore. If ony man schal entre bi me, he schal be sauyd; and he schal go ynne, and schal go out, and he schal fynde lesewis. |
| 10:11 | A nyyt theef cometh not, but that he stele, sle, and leese; and Y cam, that thei han lijf, and haue more plenteousli. |
| 10:12 | I am a good scheepherde; a good scheepherde yyueth his lijf for hise scheep. |
| 10:13 | But an hirid hyne, and that is not the scheepherde, whos ben not the scheep his owne, seeth a wolf comynge, and he leeueth the scheep, and fleeth; and the wolf rauyschith, and disparplith the scheep. |
| 10:14 | And the hirid hyne fleeth, for he is an hirid hyne, and it parteyneth not to hym of the scheep. |
| 10:15 | Y am a good scheepherde, and Y knowe my scheep, and my scheep knowen me. |
| 10:16 | As the fadir hath knowun me, Y knowe the fadir; and Y putte my lijf for my scheep. |
| 10:17 | Y haue othere scheep, that ben not of this foolde, and it bihoueth me to brynge hem togidir, and thei schulen here my vois; and it schal be maad o foolde and o scheepherde. |
| 10:18 | Therfor the fadir loueth me, for Y putte my lijf, that eftsoone Y take it. |
| 10:19 | No man takith it fro me, but Y putte it of my silf. Y haue power to putte it, and Y haue power to take it ayen. This maundement Y haue takun of my fadir. |
| 10:20 | Eft dissencioun was maad among the Jewis for these wordis. |
| 10:21 | And many of hem seiden, He hath a deuel, and maddith; what heren ye hym? |
| 10:22 | Othere men seiden, These wordis ben not of a man that hath a feend. Whether the deuel may opene the iyen of blynde men? |
| 10:23 | But the feestis of halewyng of the temple weren maad in Jerusalem, and it was wyntir. |
| 10:24 | And Jhesus walkide in the temple, in the porche of Salomon. |
| 10:25 | Therfor the Jewis camen aboute hym, and seiden to hym, Hou long takist thou awei oure soule? if thou art Crist, seie thou to vs opynli. |
| 10:26 | Jhesus answerde to hem, Y speke to you, and ye bileuen not; the werkis that Y do in the name of my fadir, beren witnessyng of me. |
| 10:27 | But ye bileuen not, for ye ben not of my scheep. |
| 10:28 | My scheep heren my vois, and Y knowe hem, and thei suen me. |
| 10:29 | And Y yyue to hem euerelastynge lijf, and thei schulen not perische with outen ende, and noon schal rauysche hem fro myn hoond. |
| 10:30 | That thing that my fadir yaf to me, is more than alle thingis; and no man may rauysche fro my fadris hoond. |
| 10:31 | Y and the fadir ben oon. |
| 10:32 | The Jewis token vp stoonys, to stoone hym. |
| 10:33 | Jhesus answerde to hem, Y haue schewide to you many good werkis of my fadir, for which werk of hem stonen ye me? |
| 10:34 | The Jewis answerden to hym, We stoonen thee not of good werk, but of blasfemye, and for thou, sithen thou art a man, makist thi silf God. |
| 10:35 | Jhesus answerde to hem, Whether it is not writun in youre lawe, That Y seide, Ye ben goddis? |
| 10:36 | Yf he seide that thei weren goddis, to whiche the word of God was maad, and scripture may not be vndon, |
| 10:37 | thilke that the fadir hath halewid, and hath sent in to the world, ye seien, That `thou blasfemest, for Y seide, Y am Goddis sone? |
| 10:38 | Yf Y do not the werkis of my fadir, nyle ye bileue to me; |
| 10:39 | but if Y do, thouy ye wolen not bileue to me, bileue ye to the werkis; that ye knowe and bileue, that the fadir is in me, and Y in the fadir. |
| 10:40 | Therfor thei souyten to take hym, and he wente out of her hondis. |
| 10:41 | And he wente eftsoone ouer Jordan, in to that place where Joon was firste baptisynge, and he dwelte there. |
| 10:42 | And manye camen to hym, and seiden, For Joon dide no myracle; |
| 10:1 | Verely verely I saye vnto you: he that entreth not in by ye dore into the shepefolde but clymeth vp some other waye: the same is a thefe and a robber. |
| 10:2 | He that goeth in by ye dore is the shepeherde of ye shepe: |
| 10:3 | to him the porter openeth and the shepe heare his voyce and he calleth his awne shepe by name and leadeth them out. |
| 10:4 | And when he hath sent forthe his awne shepe he goeth before them and the shepe folowe him: for they knowe his voyce. |
| 10:5 | A straunger they will not folowe but will flye from him: for they knowe not the voyce of straungers. |
| 10:6 | This similitude spake Iesus vnto them. But they vnderstode not what thinges they were which he spake vnto them. |
| 10:7 | Then sayde Iesus vnto them agayne. Verely verely I saye vnto you: I am the dore of the shepe. |
| 10:8 | All even as many as came before me are theves and robbers: but the shepe dyd not heare them. |
| 10:9 | I am the dore: by me yf eny man enter in he shalbe safe and shall goo in and out and fynde pasture. |
| 10:10 | The thefe cometh not but forto steale kyll and destroye. I am come that they myght have lyfe and have it more aboundantly. |
| 10:11 | I am ye good shepeheerd. The good shepeheerd geveth his lyfe for ye shepe. |
| 10:12 | An heyred servaut which is not ye shepeherd nether ye shepe are his awne seith the wolfe comynge and leveth the shepe and flyeth and the wolfe catcheth them and scattereth ye shepe. |
| 10:13 | The heyred servaut flyeth because he is an heyred servaunt and careth not for the shepe. |
| 10:14 | I am that good shepeheerd and knowe myne and am knowe of myne. |
| 10:15 | As my father knoweth me: even so knowe I my father. And I geve my lyfe for the shepe: |
| 10:16 | and other shepe I have which are not of this folde. Them also must I bringe that they maye heare my voyce and that ther maye be one flocke and one shepeherde. |
| 10:17 | Therfore doth my father love me because I put my lyfe from me that I myght take it agayne. |
| 10:18 | No man taketh it from me: but I put it awaye of my selfe. I have power to put it from me and have power to take it agayne: This comaundment have I receaved of my father. |
| 10:19 | And ther was a dissencion agayne amoge the Iewes for these sayinges |
| 10:20 | and many of them sayd. He hath the devyll and is mad: why heare ye him? |
| 10:21 | Other sayde these are not the wordes of him that hath the devyll. Can the devyll open the eyes of the blynde? |
| 10:22 | And it was at Ierusalem ye feaste of the dedicacion and it was wynter: |
| 10:23 | and Iesus walked in Salomons porche. |
| 10:24 | Then came the Iewes rounde aboute him and sayde vnto him: How longe dost thou make vs doute? Yf thou be Christ tell vs playnly. |
| 10:25 | Iesus answered them: I tolde you and ye beleve not. The workes yt I do in my fathers name they beare witnes of me. |
| 10:26 | But ye beleve not because ye are not of my shepe. As I sayde vnto you: |
| 10:27 | my shepe heare my voyce and I knowe them and they folowe me |
| 10:28 | and I geve vnto the eternall lyfe and they shall never perisshe nether shall eny man plucke the oute of my honde. |
| 10:29 | My father which gave the me is greatter then all and no man is able to take them out of my fathers honde. |
| 10:30 | And I and my father are one. |
| 10:31 | Then the Iewes agayne toke up stones to stone him with all. |
| 10:32 | Iesus answered them: many good workes have I shewed you from my father: for which of them will ye stone me? |
| 10:33 | The Iewes answered him sayinge. For thy good workes sake we stone ye not: but for thy blasphemy and because that thou beinge a man makest thy selfe God. |
| 10:34 | Iesus answered them: Is it not written in youre lawe: I saye ye are goddes? |
| 10:35 | If he called the goddes vnto whom the worde of God was spoken (and the scripture can not be broken) |
| 10:36 | saye ye then to him whom the father hath sainctified and sent into the worlde thou blasphemest because I sayd I am the sonne of God? |
| 10:37 | If I do not the workes of my father beleve me not. |
| 10:38 | But if I do though ye beleve not me yet beleve the workes that ye maye knowe and beleve that the father is in me and I in him. |
| 10:39 | Agayne they went aboute to take him: but he escaped out of their hondes |
| 10:40 | and went awaye agayne beyonde Iordan into the place where Iohn before had baptised and there aboode. |
| 10:41 | And many resorted vnto him and sayd. Iohn dyd no miracle: but all thinges that Iohn spake of this man are true. |
| 10:42 | And many beleved on him theare. |
| 10:1 | Verely verely I saye vnto you: He yt entreth not in at the dore in to the shepefolde, but clymmeth vp some other waye, the same is a thefe & a murthurer. |
| 10:2 | But he that goeth in at the dore, is the shepherde of the shepe: |

| 10:15 | Eue as my father knoweth me, and I knowe ye father. And I geue my life for my shepe. |
| 10:16 | And I haue yet other shepe, which are not of this folde, and those same must I brynge also, and they shal heare my voyce, and there shalbe one flocke and one shepherde. |
| 10:17 | Therfore doth my father loue me, because I leaue my life, that I maye take it agayue. |
