John - Chapter: 15

>
15:1`I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman;
15:2every branch in me not bearing fruit, He doth take it away, and every one bearing fruit, He doth cleanse by pruning it, that it may bear more fruit;
15:3already ye are clean, because of the word that I have spoken to you;
15:4remain in me, and I in you, as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, if it may not remain in the vine, so neither ye, if ye may not remain in me.
15:5`I am the vine, ye the branches; he who is remaining in me, and I in him, this one doth bear much fruit, because apart from me ye are not able to do anything;
15:6if any one may not remain in me, he was cast forth without as the branch, and was withered, and they gather them, and cast to fire, and they are burned;
15:7if ye may remain in me, and my sayings in you may remain, whatever ye may wish ye shall ask, and it shall be done to you.
15:8`In this was my Father glorified, that ye may bear much fruit, and ye shall become my disciples.
15:9According as the Father did love me, I also loved you, remain in my love;
15:10if my commandments ye may keep, ye shall remain in my love, according as I the commands of my Father have kept, and do remain in His love;
15:11these things I have spoken to you, that my joy in you may remain, and your joy may be full.
15:12`This is my command, that ye love one another, according as I did love you;
15:13greater love than this hath no one, that any one his life may lay down for his friends;
15:14ye are my friends, if ye may do whatever I command you;
15:15no more do I call you servants, because the servant hath not known what his lord doth, and you I have called friends, because all things that I heard from my Father, I did make known to you.
15:16`Ye did not choose out me, but I chose out you, and did appoint you, that ye might go away, and might bear fruit, and your fruit might remain, that whatever ye may ask of the Father in my name, He may give you.
15:17`These things I command you, that ye love one another;
15:18if the world doth hate you, ye know that it hath hated me before you;
15:19if of the world ye were, the world its own would have been loving, and because of the world ye are not -- but I chose out of the world -- because of this the world hateth you.
15:20`Remember the word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord; if me they did persecute, you also they will persecute; if my word they did keep, yours also they will keep;
15:21but all these things will they do to you, because of my name, because they have not known Him who sent me;
15:22if I had not come and spoken to them, they were not having sin; but now pretext they have not for their sin.
15:23`He who is hating me, doth hate also my Father;
15:24if I did not do among them the works that no other hath done, they were not having sin, and now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father;
15:25but -- that the word may be fulfilled that was written in their law -- They hated me without a cause.
15:26`And when the Comforter may come, whom I will send to you from the Father -- the Spirit of truth, who from the Father doth come forth, he will testify of me;
15:27and ye also do testify, because from the beginning ye are with me.

15:1I am the true vyne and my father ys an husbande man.
15:2Every braunche that beareth not frute in me he will take awaye. And every braunche that beareth frute will he pourge yt it maye bringe moare frute.
15:3Now are ye cleane thorow ye wordes which I have spoke vnto you.
15:4Byde in me and let me byde in you. As ye braunche canot beare frute of it sylfe excepte it byde in the vyne: no more can ye excepte ye abyde in me.
15:5I am the vyne and ye are the braunches. He that abydeth in me and I in him the same bringeth forth moche frute. For with out me can ye do nothinge.
15:6Yf a man byde not in me he ys cast forthe as a braunche and is wyddered: and men gadder it and cast it into the fyre and it burneth.
15:7Yf ye byde in me and my wordes also byde in you: axe what ye will and it shalbe done to you .
15:8Heare in is my father glorified that ye beare moche frute and be made my disciples.
15:9As the father hath loved me eve so have I leved you. Continue in my love.
15:10Yf ye shall kepe my comaudemetes ye shall byde in my love eve as I have kept my fathers comaundementes and byde in his love.
15:11These thinges have I spoken vnto you yt my ioye myght remayne in you and that youre ioye might be full.
15:12This is my commaundement that ye love togedder as I have loved you.
15:13Gretter love then this hath no man then that a man bestowe his lyfe for his frendes.
15:14Ye are my fredes yf ye do whatsoever I commaunde you.
15:15Hence forth call I you not servauntes: for the servaunt knoweth not what his Lorde doeth. But you have I called frendes: for all thinges that I have hearde of my father I have opened to you.
15:16Ye have not chosen me but I have chosen you and ordeyned you that ye go and bringe forthe frute and that youre frute remayne that whatsoever ye shall axe of the father in my name he shulde geve it you.
15:17This comaunde I you that ye love to gedder.
15:18Yf ye worlde hate you ye knowe that he hated me before he hated you.
15:19Yf ye were of the worlde ye worlde wolde love his awne. How be it because ye are not of ye worlde but I have chosen you out of the worlde therfore hateth you the worlde.
15:20Remember the sayinge that I sayde vnto you: the servaute is not greater then his lorde. Yf they have persecuted me so will they persecute you Yf they have kept my sayinge so will they kepe youres.
15:21But all these thinges will they do vnto you for my names sake because they have not knowen him that sent me.
15:22If I had not come and spoken vnto them they shulde not have had synne: but now have they nothinge to cloke their synne with all.
15:23He that hateth me hateth my father.
15:24If I had not done workes amoge the which none other ma dyd they had not had synne. But now have they sene and yet have hated bothe me and my father:
15:25eve that the sayinge myght be fulfilled that is written in theyr lawe: they hated me wtout a cause.
15:26But when the comforter is come whom I will sende vnto you fro the father which is the sprete of truthe which proceadeth of the father he shall testifie of me.
15:27And ye shall beare witnes also because ye have bene with me from the begynninge.

15:1I am a true vyne, and my father is an hussbande man.
15:2Euery braunch that bringeth not forth frute in me, shal he cut of: and euery one that bryngeth forth frute, shal he pourge, yt it maye bringe forth more frute.
15:3Now are ye cleane, because of the worde, that I haue spoke vnto you.
15:4Byde ye in me, and I in you. Like as ye braunch can not brynge forth frute of it self excepte it byde in the vyne, Euen so nether ye also, excepte ye abyde in me.
15:5I am the vyne, ye are the braunches. He that abydeth in me, and I in him, the same bryngeth forth moch frute: for without me can ye do nothinge.
15:6He that abydeth not in me, is cast out as a vyne braunche, and it wythereth, and men gather it vp, and cast it in to the fyre, and it burneth.
15:7Yf ye abyde in me, and my wordes abyde in you, ye shal axe what ye wyl, & it shal be done vnto you.
15:8Herin is my father praysed, that ye brynge forth moch frute, and become my disciples.
15:9Like as my father hath loued me, eue so haue I loued you. Cotynue ye i my loue.
15:10Yf ye kepe my comaundementes, ye shal cotynue in my loue: like as I haue kepte my fathers comaundementes, and cotynue in his loue.
15:11These thinges haue I spoken vnto you, that my ioye might remayne in you, and yt youre ioye might be perfecte.
15:12This is my comaundement, that ye loue together, as I haue loued you.
15:13No man hath greater loue, then to set his life for his frende.
15:14Ye are my frendes, yf ye do that I commaunde you.
15:15Hence forth call I you not seruauntes, for a seruaunt knoweth not what his lorde doeth. But I haue sayde that ye are frendes: For all that I haue herde of my father, haue I shewed vnto you.
15:16Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeyned you, that ye go, and bringe forth frute, and that youre frute contynne, that what soeuer ye axe the father in my name, he shulde geue it you.
15:17This I commaunde you, that ye loue one another.
15:18Yf the worlde hate you, then knowe, that it hath hated me before you.
15:19Yf ye were of the worlde, the worlde wolde loue his awne. Howbeit because ye are not of the worlde, but I haue chosen you from the worlde, therfore the worlde hateth you.
15:20Remembre my worde, that I sayde vnto you: The seruaunt is not greater then his lorde. Yf they haue persecuted me, they shal persecute you also: Yf they haue kepte my worde, they shal kepe yours also.
15:21But all this shal they do vnto you for my names sake, because they knowe not him yt sent me.
15:22Yf I had not come & spoke vnto the, the shulde they haue no synne But now haue they nothinge to cloake their synne withall.
15:23He yt hateth me, hateth my father also.
15:24Yf I had not done amoge the the workes which no other ma dyd, they shulde haue no synne. But now haue they sene it, and yet haue they hated both me & my father.
15:25Neuertheles that the sayenge might be fulfilled, which is wrytten in their lawe: They haue hated me without a cause.
15:26But wha the comforter commeth, who I shal sende you from the father eue the sprete of trueth which proceadeth of the father, he shal testifie of me
15:27and ye shal beare wytnesse also: for ye haue bene with me from the begynnynge.
