>
21:1After that Iesus shewed hym selfe agayne at the sea of Tyberias. And on thys wise shewed he hym selfe.
21:2Ther were together Symon Peter and Thomas, whyche is called Didimus, and Nathaniell of Cana a cytie of Galile, and the sonnes of Zebedei, and two other of the disciples.
21:3Simon Peter sayd vnto them: I go a fyshinge. They sayd vnto hym: we also wyll go wyth the. They went theyr way and entred into a shyppe strayght waie, and that nighte caught they nothyng.
21:4But when the mornyng was nowe come, Iesus stode on the shore: neuerthelesse the dyscyples knewe not that it was Iesus.
21:5Iesus sayd vnto them: syre, haue ye anye meate? They aunswered him: no.
21:6And he sayd vnto them: caste out the net on the ryght syde of the shyppe, and ye shall fynde. They caste out, and anone they were not able to draw it for the multytude of fyshes.
21:7Then sayde the disciple whom Iesus loued vnto Peter: It is the Lord. When Simon Peter hearde that it was the Lorde, he gyrde hys mantel to him (for he was naked) and sprange into the sea:
21:8The other discyples came by shippe for they were not farre from land, but as it were two hundred cubites, and they drewe the net wyth fyshes:
21:9Assone as they were come to land, they sawe hote coles and fyshe, layde thereon and breade.
21:10Iesus said vnto them: bringe of the fishe which ye haue now caught.
21:11Simon Peter stepped forth, and drewe the net to lande full of great fyshes an hundred and .liij. And for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
21:12Iesus sayde vnto them: come and dyne. And none of the discyples durst axe him, what art thou? for they knewe that it was the Lord.
21:13Iesus then came and toke bread, and gaue them, and fyshe lykewyse.
21:14And thys is nowe the thyrde tyme that Iesus appeared to hys discyples after that he was rysen agayne from deathe.
21:15When they had dyned. Iesus sayd to Simon Peter: Simon Ioanna, louest thou me more then these? He sayd vnto him: ye Lorde thou knowest that I loue the. He saide vnto him: fede me lambes.
21:16He saied to him again the seconde tyme? Simon Ioanna, louest thou me? He saied vnto him: yea Lorde thou knowest that I loue the. He saied vnto him: fede me shepe:
21:17He saied vnto him the thyrde tyme: Simon Ioanna, louest thou me? And Peter sorowed, because he saied to him the thirde time, louest thou me, and said vnto him: Lord, thou knowest all thinge: thou knowest that I loue the. Iesus sayd vnto him: fede me shepe.
21:18Verelie verelye, I saie vnto the, when thou waste yonge, thou girdest thy selfe, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou arte olde, thou shalt stretche forth thy handes, and another shall gyrd the, and lead the whither thou wouldest not:
21:19That spake he, signyfyeng by what death he should glorifie God. And when he had saied thus, he sayed to hym: folowe me.
21:20Peter tourned aboute, and sawe that disciple whom Iesus loued folowinge which also leaned on his breste at supper and saied: Lord which is he that shal betraye the?
21:21When Peter saw him, he sayde to Iesus: Lord what shall he here do?
21:22Iesus sayde vnto him: Yf I wyll haue him to tarye tyll I come, what is that to the? folow thou me.
21:23Then went this saiynge abrode amonge the brethren, that that disciple shoulde not dye. Yet Iesus sayde not to hym, he shall not dye, but if I wyl that he tary tyll I come, what is that to the?
21:24The same dyscyple is he which testifyeth of these thinges, and wrote these thinges. And we know that his testimonie is true.
21:25Ther are also many other thinges whych Iesus dyd, the whiche if they shoulde be written euery one I suppose the worlde could not contayne the bokes that shuld be written.

21:1After these things, Iesus shewed himselfe againe to his disciples at the sea of Tiberias: and thus shewed he himselfe:
21:2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas, which is called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galile, and the sonnes of Zebedeus, and two other of his disciples.
21:3Simon Peter said vnto them, I go a fishing. They said vnto him, We also will goe with thee. They went their way and entred into a ship straightway, and that night caught they nothing.
21:4But when the morning was nowe come, Iesus stoode on the shore: neuerthelesse the disciples knewe not that it was Iesus.
21:5Iesus then said vnto them, Syrs, haue ye any meate? They answered him, No.
21:6Then he said vnto them, Cast out the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall finde. So they cast out, and they were not able at all to draw it, for the multitude of fishes.
21:7Therefore said the disciple whom Iesus loued, vnto Peter, It is the Lord. When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girded his coate to him (for he was naked) and cast himselfe into the sea.
21:8But the other disciples came by shippe (for they were not farre from land, but about two hundreth cubites) and they drewe the net with fishes.
21:9Assoone then as they were come to land, they sawe hoate coales, and fish laide thereon, and bread.
21:10Iesus saide vnto them, Bring of the fishes, which ye haue nowe caught.
21:11Simon Peter stepped foorth and drewe the net to land, full of great fishes, an hundreth, fiftie and three: and albeit there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
21:12Iesus saide vnto them, Come, and dine. And none of the disciples durst aske him, Who art thou? seeing they knewe that he was the Lord.
21:13Iesus then came and tooke bread, and gaue them, and fish likewise.
21:14This is now the third time that Iesus shewed himselfe to his disciples, after that he was risen againe from the dead.
21:15So when they had dined, Iesus said to Simon Peter, Simon the sonne of Iona, louest thou me more then these? He said vnto him, Yea Lord, thou knowest that I loue thee. He said vnto him, Feede my lambes.
21:16He said to him againe the second time, Simon the sonne of Iona, louest thou me? He said vnto him, Yea Lord, thou knowest that I loue thee. He said vnto him, Feede my sheepe.
21:17He said vnto him the third time, Simon the sonne of Iona, louest thou me? Peter was sorie because he said to him the third time, Louest thou me? and said vnto him, Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I loue thee. Iesus saide vnto him, Feede my sheepe.
21:18Verely, verely I say vnto thee, When thou wast yong, thou girdedst thy selfe, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be olde, thou shalt stretch foorth thine hands, and another shall gird thee, and lead thee whither thou wouldest not.
21:19And this spake he signifying by what death he shoulde glorifie God. And when he had said this, he said to him, Folowe me.
21:20Then Peter turned about, and sawe the disciple whom JESUS loued, folowing, which had also leaned on his breast at supper, and had saide, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21:21When Peter therefore sawe him, he saide to Iesus, Lord, what shall this man doe?
21:22Iesus said vnto him, If I will that he tarie till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.
21:23Then went this worde abroade among the brethren, that this disciple shoulde not die. Yet Iesus saide not to him, He shall not die: but if I will that he tarie till I come, what is it to thee?
21:24This is that disciple, which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things, and we know that his testimonie is true.
21:25Nowe there are also many other things which Iesus did, the which if they should be written euery one, I suppose the world coulde not conteine the bookes that shoulde be written, Amen.

21:1After these things Iesus shewed himselfe againe to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias, and on this wise shewed he himselfe.
21:2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathaneel of Cana in Galilee, and the sonnes of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
21:3Simon Peter saith vnto them, I goe a fishing. They say vnto him, Wee also goe with thee. They went foorth and entred into a ship immediatly, and that night they caught nothing.
21:4But when the morning was now come, Iesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knewe not that it was Iesus.
21:5Then Iesus saith vnto them, Children, haue ye any meat? They answered him, No.
21:6And he said vnto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and yee shall finde. They cast therfore, and now they were not able to draw it, for the multitude of fishes.
21:7Therefore that Disciple whome Iesus loued, saith vnto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fishers coate vnto him, (for hee was naked) & did cast himselfe into the sea.
21:8And the other disciples came in a litle ship (for they were not farre from land, but as it were two hundred cubites) dragging the net with fishes.
21:9Assoone then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coales there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
21:10Iesus saith vnto them, Bring of the fish, which ye haue now caught.
21:11Simon Peter went vp, & drewe the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fiftie and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
21:12Iesus saith vnto them, Come, and dine. And none of the disciples durst aske him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
21:13Iesus then commeth, and taketh bread, and giueth them, and fish likewise.
21:14This is nowe the third time that Iesus shewed himselfe to his disciples, after that hee was risen from the dead.
21:15So when they had dined, Iesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, sonne of Ionas, louest thou mee more then these? He saith vnto him, Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I loue thee. He saith vnto him, Feed my lambes.
21:16He saith to him againe the second time, Simon sonne of Ionas, louest thou me? He saith vnto him, Yea Lord, thou knowest that I loue thee. He saith vnto him, Feed my sheepe.
21:17He said vnto him the third time, Simon sonne of Ionas, louest thou mee? Peter was grieued, because hee saide vnto him the third time, Louest thou me? And he said vnto him, Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I loue thee. Iesus sayth vnto him, Feed my sheepe.
21:18Uerily, verily I say vnto thee, whe thou wast yong, thou girdedst thy selfe, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carie thee whither thou wouldest not.
21:19This spake hee, signifying by what death he should glorifie God. And when he had spoken this, he sayth vnto him, Follow me.
21:20Then Peter turning about, seeth the Disciple whom Iesus loued, following, which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is hee that betraieth thee?
21:21Peter seeing him, saith to Iesus, Lord, and what shall this man doe?
21:22Iesus saith vnto him, If I will that he tary till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me.
21:23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that Disciple should not die: yet Iesus sayd not vnto him, He shall not die: but, If I will that he tary till I come, what is that to thee?
21:24This is the Disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things, and we know that his testimonie is true.
21:25And there are also many other things which Iesus did, the which if they should be written euery one, I suppose that euen the world it selfe could not conteine the bookes that should be written, Amen.
