| 3:1 | And Peter and John were going up at the same time to the temple, at the hour of the prayer, the ninth `hour', |
| 3:2 | and a certain man, being lame from the womb of his mother, was being carried, whom they were laying every day at the gate of the temple, called Beautiful, to ask a kindness from those entering into the temple, |
| 3:3 | who, having seen Peter and John about to go into the temple, was begging to receive a kindness. |
| 3:4 | And Peter, having looked stedfastly toward him with John, said, `Look toward us;' |
| 3:5 | and he was giving heed to them, looking to receive something from them; |
| 3:6 | and Peter said, `Silver and gold I have none, but what I have, that I give to thee; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and be walking.' |
| 3:7 | And having seized him by the right hand, he raised `him' up, and presently his feet and ankles were strengthened, |
| 3:8 | and springing up, he stood, and was walking, and did enter with them into the temple, walking and springing, and praising God; |
| 3:9 | and all the people saw him walking and praising God, |
| 3:10 | they were knowing him also that this it was who for a kindness was sitting at the Beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what hath happened to him. |
| 3:11 | And at the lame man who was healed holding Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch called Solomon's -- greatly amazed, |
| 3:12 | and Peter having seen, answered unto the people, `Men, Israelites! why wonder ye at this? or on us why look ye so earnestly, as if by our own power or piety we have made him to walk? |
| 3:13 | `The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, did glorify His child Jesus, whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, he having given judgment to release `him', |
| 3:14 | and ye the Holy and Righteous One did deny, and desired a man -- a murderer -- to be granted to you, |
| 3:15 | and the Prince of the life ye did kill, whom God did raise out of the dead, of which we are witnesses; |
| 3:16 | and on the faith of his name, this one whom ye see and have known, his name made strong, even the faith that `is' through him did give to him this perfect soundness before you all. |
| 3:17 | `And now, brethren, I have known that through ignorance ye did `it', as also your rulers; |
| 3:18 | and God, what things before He had declared through the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ should suffer, He did thus fulfil; |
| 3:19 | reform ye, therefore, and turn back, for your sins being blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, |
| 3:20 | and He may send Jesus Christ who before hath been preached to you, |
| 3:21 | whom it behoveth heaven, indeed, to receive till times of a restitution of all things, of which God spake through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age. |
| 3:22 | `For Moses, indeed, unto the fathers said -- A prophet to you shall the Lord your God raise up out of your brethren, like to me; him shall ye hear in all things, as many as he may speak unto you; |
| 3:23 | and it shall be, every soul that may not hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed out of the people; |
| 3:24 | and also all the prophets from Samuel and those following in order, as many as spake, did also foretell of these days. |
| 3:25 | `Ye are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made unto our fathers, saying unto Abraham: And in thy seed shall be blessed all the families of the earth; |
| 3:26 | to you first, God, having raised up His child Jesus, did send him, blessing you, in the turning away of each one from your evil ways.' |
| 3:1 | Peter and Iohn went up togedder into the teple at the nynthe houre of prayer. |
| 3:2 | And ther was a certayne man halt from his mothers wobe who they brought and layde at the gate of the temple called beutifull to axe almes of them that entred into the temple. |
| 3:3 | Which same when he sawe Peter and Iohn that they wolde in to the teple desyred to receave an almes. |
| 3:4 | And Peter fastened his eyes on him with Iohn and sayde: looke on vs. |
| 3:5 | And he gaue hede vnto the trustinge to receave somthinge of them. |
| 3:6 | Then sayd Peter: Silver and golde have I none suche as I have geve I the. In the name of Iesu Christ of Nazareth ryse vp and walke. |
| 3:7 | And he toke him by the right honde and lifte him vp. And immediatly his fete and ancle bones receaved strenght. |
| 3:8 | And he sprage stode and also walked and entred with them into the temple walkinge and leapinge and laudynge God. |
| 3:9 | And all the people sawe him walke and laude God. |
| 3:10 | And they knewe him that it was he which sate and begged at the beutifull gate of the temple. And they wondred and were sore astonnyed at that which had happened vnto him. |
| 3:11 | And as ye halt which was healed helde Peter and Iohn all the people ranne amased vnto them in Salomons porche. |
| 3:12 | When Peter sawe that he answered vnto the people. Ye men of Israel why marvayle ye at this or why looke ye so stedfastly on vs as though by oure awne power or holynes we had made this man goo? |
| 3:13 | The God of Abraham Isaac and Iacob the God of oure fathers hath glorified his sonne Iesus whom ye delyvered and denyed in the presence of Pylate whe he had iudged him to be lowsed. |
| 3:14 | But ye denyed the holy and iust and desyred a mortherar to be geven you |
| 3:15 | and kylled the Lorde of lyfe whom God hath raysed from deeth of the which we are wytnesses. |
| 3:16 | And his name thorow the fayth of his name hath made this man sound whom ye se and knowe. And the fayth which is by him hath geven to him this health in the presence of you all. |
| 3:17 | And now brethre I wote well that thorow ignorauce ye did it as dyd also youre heddes. |
| 3:18 | But those thinges which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his Prophetes how yt Christ shuld suffre he hath thus wyse fulfilled. |
| 3:19 | Repent ye therfore and turne yt youre synnes maye be done awaye when the tyme of refresshinge commeth which we shall have of the presence of the Lorde |
| 3:20 | and when God shall sende him which before was preached vnto you that is to wit Iesus Christ |
| 3:21 | which must receave heave vntyll the tyme yt all thinges which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy Prophetes sence the worlde began be restored agayne. |
| 3:22 | For Moses sayd vnto the fathers: A Prophet shall the Lorde youre God rayse vp vnto you even of youre brethren lyke vnto me: him shall ye heare in all thinges whatsoever he shall saye vnto you. |
| 3:23 | For the tyme will come yt every soule which shall not heare that same Prophet shalbe destroyed from amonge the people. |
| 3:24 | Also all the Prophetes from Samuel and thence forth as many as have spoken have in lykwyse tolde of these dayes. |
| 3:25 | Ye are the chyldren of the Prophetes and of the covenaunt which God hath made vnto oure fathers sayinge to Abraham: Eve in thy seede shall all the kinredes of the erth be blessed. |
| 3:26 | Fyrst vnto you hath God raysed vp his sonne Iesus and him he hath sent to blysse you that every one of you shuld turne from youre wickednes. |

| 3:4 | Peter behelde him with Ihon, and sayde: Loke on vs. |
| 3:5 | And he gaue hede vnto them, hopynge to receaue some thinge of them. |
| 3:6 | Howbeit Peter saide: Syluer and golde haue I none: but soch as I haue geue I the. In the name of Iesus Christ of Nazareth ryse vp & walke. |

| 3:15 | but ye slewe the prynce of life, whom God hath raysed from the deed, of the which we are witnesses. |
| 3:16 | And thorow ye faith in his name, hath he confirmed his name vpon this man, whom ye se and knowe: and faith thorow him, hath geue this man this health before youre eyes. |
| 3:17 | Now deare brethre, I knowe that ye haue done it thorow ignoraunce, as dyd also youre rulers. |
| 3:18 | But God, which by the mouth of all his prophetes had shewed before, yt his Christ shulde suffre, hath so fulfilled it. |
| 3:19 | Do penaunce now therfore and turne you, that youre synnes maye be done awaye, whan the tyme of refreshinge shal come before the presence of the LORDE, |
| 3:20 | and whan he shal sende him, which now before is preached vnto you, euen Iesus Christ: |
| 3:21 | which must receaue heauen vntyll the tyme that all thinges, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophetes sence ye worlde beganne, be restored agayne. |
| 3:22 | For Moses sayde vnto ye fathers: A prophet shal the LORDE youre God rayse vp vnto you, euen from amoge youre brethren, like vnto me: him shal ye heare, in all that he shal saye vnto you. |
| 3:23 | And it shal come to passe, what soule soeuer shal not heare the same prophet, shal be destroyed from amonge the people. |
| 3:24 | And all the prophetes from Samuel and thence forth as many as haue spoken, haue likewyse tolde of these dayes. |
| 3:25 | Ye are the children of the prophetes and of the couenaunt, which God made vnto or fathers, whan he sayde vnto Abraha: Thorow yi sede shal all ye nacios of ye earth be blessed. |
| 3:26 | First vnto you hath God raysed vp his childe Iesus, & sent hi vnto you, to blesse you yt euery one shulde turne fro his wickednesse. |
