| 6:1 | What shall we say then? shall wee continue in sinne: that grace may abound? |
| 6:2 | God forbid: how shall wee that are dead to sinne, liue any longer therein? |
| 6:3 | Know ye not, that so many of vs as were baptized into Iesus Christ, were baptized into his death? |
| 6:4 | Therefore wee are buryed with him by baptisme into death, that like as Christ was raised vp from the dead by the glorie of the Father: euen so wee also should walke in newnesse of life. |
| 6:5 | For if we haue bene planted together in the likenesse of his death: wee shalbe also in the likenesse of his resurrection: |
| 6:6 | Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the bodie of sinne might bee destroyed, that hencefoorth we should not serue sinne. |
| 6:7 | For he that is dead, is freed from sinne. |
| 6:8 | Now if we be dead with Christ, we beleeue that we shal also liue with him: |
| 6:9 | Knowing that Christ being raysed from the dead, dieth no more, death hath no more dominion ouer him. |
| 6:10 | For in that he dyed, he dyed vnto sinne once: but in that hee liueth, hee liueth vnto God. |
| 6:11 | Likewise reckon yee also your selues to be dead indeed vnto sinne: but aliue vnto God, through Iesus Christ our Lord. |
| 6:12 | Let not sinne reigne therfore in your mortall body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. |
| 6:13 | Neither yeeld yee your members as instruments of vnrighteousnes vnto sinne: but yeelde your selues vnto God, as those that are aliue from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousnesse vnto God. |
| 6:14 | For sinne shall not haue dominion ouer you, for yee are not vnder the Law, but vnder Grace. |
| 6:15 | What then? shal we sinne, because wee are not vnder the Law, but vnder Grace? God forbid. |
| 6:16 | Know ye not, that to whom yee yeeld your selues seruants to obey, his seruants ye are to whom ye obey: whether of sinne vnto death, or of obedience vnto righteousnesse? |
| 6:17 | But God bee thanked, that yee were the seruants of sinne: but ye haue obeyed from the heart that fourme of doctrine, which was deliuered you. |
| 6:18 | Being then made free from sinne, yee became the seruants of righteousnesse. |
| 6:19 | I speake after the maner of men, because of the infirmitie of your flesh: for as yee haue yeelded your members seruants to vncleannesse and to iniquitie, vnto iniquitie: euen so now yeelde your members seruants to righteousnesse, vnto holinesse. |
| 6:20 | For when yee were the seruants of sinne ye were free from righteousnesse. |
| 6:21 | What fruit had yee then in those things, whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. |
| 6:22 | But now being made free from sinne, and become seruants to God, yee haue your fruit vnto holinesse, and the end euerlasting life. |
| 6:23 | For the wages of sinne is death: but the gift of God is eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord. |
| 6:1 | What shal we saye then? Shal we contynue in synne, that there maye be abundaunce of grace? |
| 6:2 | God forbyd. How shal we lyue in synne, yt are deed from it? |
| 6:3 | Knowe ye not, that all we which are baptysed into Iesu Christ, are baptysed in to his death? |
| 6:4 | Therfore are we buried wt him by baptyme in to death, that, like as Christ was raysed vp from the deed by the glory of the father, euen so we also shulde walke in a new life. |
| 6:5 | For yf we be grafted wt him vnto like death, then shal we be like the resurreccion also: |
| 6:6 | For so moch as we knowe, that oure olde man is crucified with him, that the synfull body mighte ceasse, that hence forth we shulde serue synne no more. |
| 6:7 | For he that is deed, is made righteous fro synne |
| 6:8 | But yf we be deed with Christ, we beleue, that we shal lyue also with him, |
| 6:9 | and are sure, that Christ raysed from the deed, dyeth nomore: Death shal haue nomore power ouer him. |
| 6:10 | For as touchinge that he dyed, he dyed cocernynge synne once: but as touchinge that he lyueth, he lyueth vnto God. |
| 6:11 | Likewyse ye also, counte youre selues to be euen deed concernynge synne, and to lyue vnto God thorow Iesus Christ oure LORDE. |
| 6:12 | Let not synne reigne therfore in youre mortall bodye, that ye shulde obeye vnto the lustes of it. |
| 6:13 | ether geue ye ouer youre membres vnto synne to be wapens of vnrighteousnes, but geue ouer youre selues vnto God, as they that off deed are become lyuynge, and youre membres vnto God to be wapes off righteousnes. |
| 6:14 | For synne shal not haue power ouer you, in so moch as ye are not vnder the lawe, but vnder grace. |
| 6:15 | How then? Shal we synne, because we are not vnder ye lawe, but vnder grace? God forbyd. |
| 6:16 | Knowe ye not, that loke vnto who ye geue ouer youre selues as seruauntes to obeye, his seruauntes ye are to whom ye obey, whether it be of synne vnto death, or of obediece vnto righteousnes? |
| 6:17 | But God be thanked, that though ye haue bene the seruauntes of synne, ye are now yet obedient of herte to the ensample off the doctryne, whervnto ye are commytted. |
| 6:18 | For now that ye are made fre from synue, ye are become the seruauntes of righteousnes. |
| 6:19 | I wil speake grosly, because of the weaknes of youre flesh. Like as ye haue geuen ouer youre membres to the seruyce of vnclennesse, from one wickednesse to another: Eue so now also geue ouer youre membres to the seruyce of righteousnesse, that they may |
| 6:20 | For whan ye were the seruauntes of synne, ye were lowse from righteousnes. |
| 6:21 | What frute had ye at that tyme in those thinges, wherof ye are now ashamed? For the ende of soch thinges is death. |
| 6:22 | But now that ye be fre from synne, and are become the seruauntes of God, ye haue youre frute that ye shulde be holy: but the ende is euerlastinge life. |
| 6:23 | For death is the rewarde of synne, but the gifte of God is euerlastinge life. |
| 6:1 | Therfor what schulen we seie? Schulen we dwelle in synne, that grace be plenteuouse? |
| 6:2 | God forbede. For hou schulen we that ben deed to synne, lyue yit ther ynne? |
| 6:3 | Whether, britheren, ye knowen not, that whiche euere we ben baptisid in Crist Jhesu, we ben baptisid in his deth? |
| 6:4 | For we ben togidere biried with hym bi baptym `in to deth; that as Crist aroos fro deth bi the glorie of the fadir, so walke we in a newnesse of lijf. |
| 6:5 | For if we plauntid togidere ben maad to the licnesse of his deth, also we schulen be of the licnesse of his risyng ayen; |
| 6:6 | witynge this thing, that oure olde man is crucified togidere, that the bodi of synne be distruyed, that we serue no more to synne. |
| 6:7 | For he that is deed, is iustefied fro synne. |
| 6:8 | And if we ben deed with Crist, we bileuen that also we schulen lyue togidere with hym; |
| 6:9 | witinge for Crist, rysynge ayen fro deth, now dieth not, deeth schal no more haue lordschip on hym. |
| 6:10 | For that he was deed to synne, he was deed onys; but that he lyueth, he liueth to God. |
| 6:11 | So ye deme you silf to be deed to synne, but lyuynge to God in `Jhesu Crist oure Lord. |
| 6:12 | Therfor regne not synne in youre deedli bodi, that ye obeische to hise coueityngis. |
| 6:13 | Nether yyue ye youre membris armuris of wickidnesse to synne, but yyue ye you silf to God, as thei that lyuen of deed men, and youre membris armuris of riytwisnesse to God. |
| 6:14 | For synne schal not haue lordschipe on you; for ye ben not vndur the lawe, but vndur grace. |
| 6:15 | What therfor? Schulen we do synne, for we ben not vndur the lawe, but vndur grace? |
| 6:16 | God forbede. Witen ye not, that to whom ye yyuen you seruauntis to obeie to, ye ben seruauntis of that thing, to which ye han obeschid, ether of synne to deth, ether of obedience to riytwisnesse? |
| 6:17 | But Y thanke God, that ye weren seruauntis of synne; but ye han obeischid of herte in to that fourme of techyng, in which ye ben bitakun. |
| 6:18 | And ye delyuered fro synne, ben maad seruauntis of riytwisnesse. |
| 6:19 | Y seie that thing that is of man, for the vnstidefastnesse of youre fleisch. But as ye han youun youre membris to serue to vnclennesse, and to wickidnesse `in to wickidnesse, so now yyue ye youre membris to serue to riytwisnesse in to hoolynesse. |
| 6:20 | For whanne ye weren seruauntis of synne, ye weren fre of riytfulnesse. |
| 6:21 | Therfor what fruyt hadden ye thanne in tho thingis, in whiche ye schamen now? For the ende of hem is deth. |
| 6:22 | But now ye delyuered fro synne, and maad seruauntis to God, han your fruyt in to holinesse, and the ende euerlastinge lijf. |
| 6:23 | the wagis of synne is deth; the grace of God is euerlastynge lijf in Crist Jhesu our Lord. |
