| 8:1 | There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. |
| 8:2 | Because, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. |
| 8:3 | Because what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin: condemned sin in the flesh, |
| 8:4 | that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. |
| 8:5 | Because, those who live according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. |
| 8:6 | Because, to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. |
| 8:7 | Because, the carnal mind is enmity against God; because it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be. |
| 8:8 | So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. |
| 8:9 | But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. |
| 8:10 | And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. |
| 8:11 | But if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised up Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies by His Spirit who dwells in you. |
| 8:12 | Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. |
| 8:13 | Because, if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if through the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. |
| 8:14 | Because, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. |
| 8:15 | Because, you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." |
| 8:16 | The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, |
| 8:17 | and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, providing we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. |
| 8:18 | Because, I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed in us. |
| 8:19 | Because, the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the revealing of the sons of God. |
| 8:20 | Because, the creature was subjected to vanity, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; |
| 8:21 | because, the creature itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. |
| 8:22 | Because, we know that the entire creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. |
| 8:23 | And not only they, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, that is the redemption of our body. |
| 8:24 | Because, we were saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; because why does one still hope for what he sees? |
| 8:25 | But if we hope for what we do not see, then we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. |
| 8:26 | Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. Because, we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. |
| 8:27 | Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. |
| 8:28 | And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. |
| 8:29 | Because, whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. |
| 8:30 | Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. |
| 8:31 | What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
| 8:32 | He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not with Him also freely give us all things? |
| 8:33 | Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. |
| 8:34 | Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. |
| 8:35 | Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? |
| 8:36 | As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." |
| 8:37 | Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. |
| 8:38 | Because, I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, |
| 8:39 | nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
| 8:1 | Now then there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Iesus, which walke not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. |
| 8:2 | For the Lawe of the Spirite of life, which is in Christ Iesus, hath freed mee from the lawe of sinne and of death. |
| 8:3 | For (that that was impossible to ye Lawe, in as much as it was weake, because of ye flesh) God sending his owne Sonne, in ye similitude of sinful flesh, and for sinne, condened sinne in the flesh, |
| 8:4 | That that righteousnes of the Law might be fulfilled in vs, which walke not after ye flesh, but after the Spirit. |
| 8:5 | For they that are after the flesh, sauour the things of the flesh: but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. |
| 8:6 | For the wisedome of the flesh is death: but the wisedome of the Spirit is life and peace, |
| 8:7 | Because the wisedome of the flesh is enimitie against God: for it is not subiect to the Lawe of God, neither in deede can be. |
| 8:8 | So then they that are in the flesh, can not please God. |
| 8:9 | Now ye are not in the flesh, but in ye Spirit, because ye spirit of God dwelleth in you: but if any man hath not ye Spirit of Christ, ye same is not his. |
| 8:10 | And if Christ bee in you, the body is dead, because of sinne: but the Spirite is life for righteousnesse sake. |
| 8:11 | But if the Spirit of him that raised vp Iesus from the dead, dwell in you, he that raised vp Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortall bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. |
| 8:12 | Therefore brethren, wee are detters not to the flesh, to liue after the flesh: |
| 8:13 | For if ye liue after the flesh, ye shall die: but if yee mortifie the deedes of the body by the Spirit, ye shall liue. |
| 8:14 | For as many as are ledde by the Spirit of God, they are the sonnes of God. |
| 8:15 | For ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father. |
| 8:16 | The same Spirit beareth witnesse with our spirit, that we are the children of God. |
| 8:17 | If we be children, we are also heires, euen the heires of God, and heires annexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him. |
| 8:18 | For I count that the afflictions of this present time are not worthy of the glory, which shalbe shewed vnto vs. |
| 8:19 | For the feruent desire of the creature waiteth when the sonnes of God shalbe reueiled, |
| 8:20 | Because the creature is subiect to vanitie, not of it owne will, but by reason of him, which hath subdued it vnder hope, |
| 8:21 | Because the creature also shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertie of the sonnes of God. |
| 8:22 | For we knowe that euery creature groneth with vs also, and trauaileth in paine together vnto this present. |
| 8:23 | And not onely the creature, but we also which haue the first fruites of the Spirit, euen we doe sigh in our selues, waiting for the adoption, euen the redemption of our body. |
| 8:24 | For we are saued by hope: but hope that is seene, is not hope: for how can a man hope for that which he seeth? |
| 8:25 | But if we hope for that we see not, we doe with patience abide for it. |
| 8:26 | Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we knowe not what to pray as wee ought: but the Spirit it selfe maketh request for vs with sighs, which cannot be expressed. |
| 8:27 | But he that searcheth the heartes, knoweth what is the meaning of the Spirit: for he maketh request for ye Saints, according to the wil of God. |
| 8:28 | Also we knowe that all thinges worke together for the best vnto them that loue God, euen to them that are called of his purpose. |
| 8:29 | For those which hee knewe before, he also predestinate to bee made like to the image of his Sonne, that hee might be the first borne among many brethren. |
| 8:30 | Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified. |
| 8:31 | What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs? |
| 8:32 | Who spared not his owne Sonne, but gaue him for vs all to death, how shall he not with him giue vs all things also? |
| 8:33 | Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods chosen? it is God that iustifieth, |
| 8:34 | Who shall condemne? it is Christ which is dead, yea, or rather, which is risen againe, who is also at the right hand of God, and maketh request also for vs. |
| 8:35 | Who shall separate vs from the loue of Christ? shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakednesse, or perill, or sworde? |
| 8:36 | As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all day long: we are counted as sheepe for the slaughter. |
| 8:37 | Neuerthelesse, in all these thinges we are more then coquerours through him that loued vs. |
| 8:38 | For I am perswaded that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, |
| 8:39 | Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shalbe able to separate vs from the loue of God, which is in Christ Iesus our Lord. |
| 8:1 | Ther is then no damnacion to them which are in Christ Iesu which walke not after ye flesshe: but after ye sprete. |
| 8:2 | For the lawe of the sprete yt bringeth life thorowe Iesus Christ hath delivered me fro the lawe of synne and deeth. |
| 8:3 | For what the lawe coulde not doo in as moche it was weake because of the flesshe: that performed God and sent his sonne in the similitude of synfull flesshe and by synne daned synne in ye flesshe: |
| 8:4 | that the rightewesnes requyred of the lawe myght be fulfilled in vs which walke not after the flesshe but after the sprete. |
| 8:5 | For they that are carnall are carnally mynded. But they that are spirituall are gostly mynded. |
| 8:6 | To be carnally mynded is deeth. But to be spiritually mynded is lyfe and peace. |
| 8:7 | Because that the flesshly mynde is emnyte agaynst God: for it is not obedient to the lawe of God nether can be. |
| 8:8 | So then they yt are geven to the flesshe canot please God. |
| 8:9 | But ye are not geven to the flesshe but to the sprete: yf so be that ye sprite of God dwell in you. If ther be eny man yt hath not ye sprite of Christ ye same is none of his. |
| 8:10 | Yf Christ be in you the body is deed because of synne: but the sprite is lyfe for rightewesnes sake. |
| 8:11 | Wherfore if the sprite of him that raysed vppe Iesus fro deeth dwell in you: even he that raysed vp Christ from deeth shall quycken youre mortall bodyes because that this sprite dwelleth in you. |
| 8:12 | Therfore brethren we are nowe detters not to the flesshe to live after the flesshe. |
| 8:13 | For if ye live after the flesshe ye must dye. But yf ye mortifie the dedes of the body by the helpe of the sprite ye shall lyve. |
| 8:14 | For as many as are led by the sprete of God: they are the sonnes of god. |
| 8:15 | For ye have no receaved the sprete of bondage to feare eny moare but ye have receaved the sprite of adopcion wherby we crye Abba father. |
| 8:16 | The same sprete certifieth oure sprete yt we are the sonnes of God. |
| 8:17 | Yf we be sonnes we are also heyres the heyres I meane of God and heyres anexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer togedder that we maye be glorified to gedder. |
| 8:18 | For I suppose that the affliccions of this lyfe are not worthy of the glory which shalbe shewed vpon vs. |
| 8:19 | Also the fervent desyre of the creatures abideth lokynge when the sonnes of God shall appere |
| 8:20 | because the creatures are subdued to vanyte agaynst their will: but for his will which subdueth them in hope. |
| 8:21 | For ye very creatures shalbe delivered from the bondage of corrupcion into the glorious lybertie of the sonnes of God. |
| 8:22 | For we knowe that every creature groneth with vs also and travayleth in payne even vnto this tyme. |
| 8:23 | Not they only but even we also which have the fyrst frutes of the sprite morne in oureselves and wayte for the (adopcio) and loke for the delivraunce of oure bodyes. |
| 8:24 | For we are savyd by hope. But hope that is sene is no hope. For how can a ma hope for that which he seyth? |
| 8:25 | But and yf we hope for that we se not then do we with pacience abyde for it. |
| 8:26 | Lyke wyse ye sprite also helpeth oure infirmities. For we knowe not what to desyre as we ought: but the sprete maketh intercession mightely for vs with gronynges which canot be expressid with tonge. |
| 8:27 | And he that searcheth the hertes knoweth what is ye meaninge of the sprite: for he maketh intercession for the sayntes accordinge to ye pleasure of god. |
| 8:28 | For we knowe that all thinges worke for the best vnto them yt love God which also are called of purpose. |
| 8:29 | For those which he knewe before he also ordeyned before yt they shuld be lyke fassioned vnto the shape of his sonne that he myght be ye fyrst begotten sonne amoge many brethren. |
| 8:30 | Morover which he apoynted before them he also called. And which he called them also he iustified which he iustified them he also glorified. |
| 8:31 | What shall we then saye vnto these thinges? yf god be on oure syde: who can be agaynst vs? |
| 8:32 | which spared not his awne sonne but gave him for vs all: how shall he not wt him geve vs all thinges also? |
| 8:33 | Who shall laye eny thinge to ye charge of goddes chosen? it is god that iustifieth: |
| 8:34 | who then shall condempne? it is Christ which is deed ye rather which is rysen agayne which is also on the ryght honde of God and maketh intercession for vs. |
| 8:35 | Who shall seperate vs fro the love of god? shall tribulacion? or anguysshe? or persecucion? other honger? other nakednesse? other parell? other swearde? |
| 8:36 | As it is written: For thy sake are we kylled all daye longe and are counted as shepe apoynted to be slayne. |
| 8:37 | Neverthelesse in all these thinges we overcome strongly thorow his helpe that loved vs. |
| 8:38 | Ye and I am sure that nether deeth nether lyfe nether angels nor rule nether power nether thinges present nether thinges to come |
| 8:39 | nether heyth nether loweth nether eny other creature shalbe able to departe vs fro ye love of God shewed in Christ Iesu oure lorde. |
