Romans - Chapter: 13

>
13:1Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. Because, there is no authority except from God; the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
13:2Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring damnation on themselves.
13:3Because, rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
13:4Because, he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; because he does not bear the sword in vain; because he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who does evil.
13:5Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake.
13:6Because, for this reason you also pay taxes, because they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing.
13:7Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, reverence to whom reverence, honor to whom honor.
13:8Owe no one anything except to love one another, because he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
13:9Because these, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
13:10Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
13:11And this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; because now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
13:12The night is well advanced, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13:13Let us walk honestly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
13:14But you, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

13:1Let euery soule be subiect vnto the higher powers: for there is no power but of God: and the powers that be, are ordeined of God.
13:2Whosoeuer therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist, shall receiue to themselues condemnation.
13:3For Magistrates are not to be feared for good workes, but for euill. Wilt thou then bee without feare of the power? doe well: so shalt thou haue praise of the same.
13:4For he is ye minister of God for thy wealth, but if thou do euill, feare: for he beareth not the sworde for nought: for he is the minister of God to take vengeance on him that doeth euill.
13:5Wherefore ye must bee subiect, not because of wrath only, but also for conscience sake.
13:6For, for this cause ye pay also tribute: for they are Gods ministers, applying themselues for the same thing.
13:7Giue to all men therefore their duetie: tribute, to whome yee owe tribute: custome, to whom custome: feare, to whome feare: honour, to whom ye owe honour.
13:8Owe nothing to any man, but to loue one another: for he that loueth another, hath fulfilled the Lawe.
13:9For this, Thou shalt not commit adulterie, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steale, Thou shalt not beare false witnes, Thou shalt not couet: and if there be any other commandement, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, euen in this, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe.
13:10Loue doeth not euill to his neighbour: therefore is loue the fulfilling of the Lawe.
13:11And that, considering the season, that it is now time that we should arise from sleepe: for now is our saluation neerer, then when we beleeued it.
13:12The night is past, and the day is at hande, let vs therefore cast away the workes of darkenesse, and let vs put on the armour of light,
13:13So that wee walke honestly, as in the day: not in gluttonie, and drunkennesse, neither in chambering and wantonnes, nor in strife and enuying.
13:14But put yee on the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and take no thought for the flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.

13:1Let every soule submit him selfe vnto the auctorite of ye hyer powers. For there is no power but of God.
13:2The powers that be are ordeyned of God. Whosoever therfore resysteth power resisteth the ordinaunce of God. And they that resist shall receave to the selfe damnacio.
13:3For rulars are not to be feared for good workes but for evyll Wilt thou be with out feare of the power? Do well then: and so shalt thou be praysed of the same.
13:4For he is the minister of God for thy welth. But and yf thou do evyll then feare: for he beareth not a swearde for nought: but is the minister of God to take vengeaunce on them that do evyll.
13:5Wherfore ye must nedes obeye not for feare of vengeaunce only: but also because of conscience.
13:6And even for this cause paye ye tribute. For they are goddes ministers servynge for the same purpose.
13:7Geve to every man therfore his duetie: Tribute to whom tribute belongeth: Custome to whom custome is due: feare to whom feare belongeth: Honoure to who honoure pertayneth
13:8Owe nothinge to eny man: but to love one another. For he that loveth another fulfylleth the lawe.
13:9For these commaundementes: Thou shalt not comit advoutry: Thou shalt not kyll: Thou shalt not steale: Thou shalt not beare false witnes: Thou shalt not desyre and so forth (yf there be eny other comaundement) they are all comprehended in this sayinge: Love thyne neghbour as thy selfe.
13:10Love hurteth not his neghbour. Therfore is love the fulfillynge of the lawe.
13:11This also we knowe I mean the season howe that it is tyme that we shuld now awake oute of slepe. For now is oure salvacion nearer then when we beleved.
13:12The nyght is passed and the daye is come nye. Let us therfore cast awaye the dedes of darcknes and let vs put on the (Armoure) of lyght.
13:13Let vs walke honestly as it were in the daye lyght: not in eatynge and drinkynge: nether in chamburynge and wantannes: nether in stryfe and envyinge:
13:14but put ye on the Lorde Iesus Christ. And make not provision for the flesshe to fulfyll ye lustes of it.
