Romans - Chapter: 15

>
15:1We then who are strong ought to bear with the failures of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
15:2Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
15:3Because, even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me."
15:4Because, whatever things were written beforehand were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
15:5Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
15:6that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:7You therefore, receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
15:8Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers,
15:9and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and sing to Your name."
15:10And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!"
15:11And again: "Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you people!"
15:12And again, Isaiah says: "There will be a root of Jesse; and He who will rise to reign over the Gentiles, in Him the Gentiles will trust."
15:13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
15:14Now I myself am persuaded concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
15:15Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God,
15:16that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
15:17Therefore I have reason to glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
15:18Because, I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient,
15:19in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
15:20Yes, so I have striven to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man's foundation,
15:21but as it is written: "To whom He was not announced, they will see; and those who have not heard will understand."
15:22For this reason I also have been often hindered from coming to you.
15:23But now no longer having a place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come to you,
15:24whenever I take my journey to Spain, I will come to you. Because, I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a while.
15:25But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.
15:26Because, it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem.
15:27It has pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. Because, if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.
15:28Therefore, when I have performed this and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come via you into Spain.
15:29But I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
15:30Now I urge you, brethren, for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ, and for the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in prayers to God for me,
15:31that I may be delivered from those in Judea who do not believe, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted by the saints,
15:32that I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
15:33Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

15:1We which are strong, ought to beare the infirmities of the weake, and not to please our selues.
15:2Therefore let euery man please his neighbour in that that is good to edification.
15:3For Christ also would not please himselfe, but as it is written, The rebukes of them which rebuke thee, fell on me.
15:4For whatsoeuer things are written aforetime, are writte for our learning, that we through patience, and comfort of the Scriptures might haue hope.
15:5Now the God of patience and consolation giue you that ye be like minded one towards another, according to Christ Iesus,
15:6That ye with one minde, and with one mouth may prayse God, euen the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ.
15:7Wherefore receiue ye one another, as Christ also receiued vs to the glory of God.
15:8Nowe I say, that Iesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision, for the trueth of God, to confirme the promises made vnto the fathers.
15:9And let the Gentiles prayse God, for his mercie, as it is written, For this cause I wil confesse thee among the Gentiles, and sing vnto thy Name.
15:10And againe he saith, Reioyce, ye Gentiles with his people.
15:11And againe, Prayse the Lord, all ye Gentiles, and laude ye him, all people together.
15:12And againe Esaias sayth, There shall be a roote of Iesse, and hee that shall rise to reigne ouer the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust.
15:13Nowe the God of hope fill you with all ioye, and peace in beleeuing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the holy Ghost.
15:14And I my selfe also am perswaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodnes, and filled with all knowledge, and are able to admonish one another.
15:15Neuerthelesse, brethren, I haue somewhat boldly after a sort written vnto you, as one that putteth you in remembrance, through the grace that is giuen me of God,
15:16That I should be the minister of Iesus Christ toward the Gentiles, ministring the Gospel of God, that the offering vp of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the holy Ghost.
15:17I haue therefore whereof I may reioyce in Christ Iesus in those things which pertaine to God.
15:18For I dare not speake of any thing, which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient in worde and deede,
15:19With the power of signes and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God: so that from Hierusalem, and round about vnto Illyricum, I haue caused to abound the Gospel of Christ.
15:20Yea, so I enforced my selfe to preach the Gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should haue built on another mans foundation.
15:21But as it is written, To whome hee was not spoken of, they shall see him, and they that heard not, shall vnderstand him.
15:22Therefore also I haue bene oft let to come vnto you:
15:23But nowe seeing I haue no more place in these quarters, and also haue bene desirous many yeeres agone to come vnto you,
15:24When I shall take my iourney into Spaine, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my iourney, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, after that I haue bene somewhat filled with your company.
15:25But now go I to Hierusalem, to minister vnto the Saints.
15:26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia, to make a certaine distribution vnto the poore Saints which are at Hierusalem.
15:27For it hath pleased them, and their detters are they: for if the Gentiles be made partakers of their spirituall things, their duetie is also to minister vnto them in carnall things.
15:28When I haue therefore performed this, and haue sealed them this fruite, I will passe by you into Spaine.
15:29And I knowe when I come, that I shall come to you with abundance of the blessing of the Gospel of Christ.
15:30Also brethren, I beseeche you for our Lord Iesus Christes sake, and for the loue of the spirit, that ye would striue with me by prayers to God for me,
15:31That I may be deliuered from them which are disobedient in Iudea, and that my seruice which I haue to doe at Hierusalem, may be accepted of the Saintes,
15:32That I may come vnto you with ioy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
15:33Thus the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

15:1We which are stronge ought to beare the fraylnes of them which are weake and not to stonde in oure awne cosaytes.
15:2Let every man please his neghbour vnto his welth and edyfyinge.
15:3For Christ pleased not him selfe: but as it is written. The rebukes of the which rebuked the fell one me.
15:4Whatsoever thinges are written afore tyme are written for oure learnynge that we thorow pacience and comforte of the scripture myght have hope.
15:5The God of pacience and consolacion geve vnto every one of you that ye be lyke mynded one towardes another after the insample of Christ:
15:6that ye all agreynge together maye with one mouth prayse God the father of oure Lorde Iesus.
15:7Wherfore receave ye one another as Christ receaved vs to the prayse of God.
15:8And I saye that Iesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the trueth of god to conferme the promyses made vnto the fathers.
15:9And let the gentyls prayse god for his mercy as it is written: For this cause I will prayse the amonge the gentyls and synge in thy name.
15:10And agayne he sayth: reioyse ye gentyles with his people.
15:11And agayne prayse the Lorde all ye gentyls and laude him all nacions.
15:12And in another place Esaias sayth: ther shalbe the rote of Iesse and he that shall ryse ro raygne over the gentyls: in him shall the gentyls trust.
15:13The God of hope fyll you with all ioye and peace in belevynge: that ye maye be ryche in hope thorowe the power of the holy goost.
15:14I my selfe am full certified of you my brethren that ye youre selves are full of goodnes and filled with all knowledge and are able to exhorte one another.
15:15Neverthelesse brethren I have some what boldly written vnto you as one that putteth you in remembrauce thorow the grace that is geven me of God
15:16that I shuld be the minister of Iesu Christ amonge the gentyls and shuld minister the gladde tydynges of God that the gentyls myght be an acceptable offerynge sanctyfied by the holy goost.
15:17I have therfore wherof I maye reioyse in Christ Iesu in tho thinges which pertayne to God.
15:18For I dare not speake of eny of tho thinges which Christ hath not wrought by me to make the gentyls obedient with worde and dede
15:19in myghty signes and wonders by the power of the sprete of God: so that from Ierusalem and the costes rounde aboute vnto Illyricum I have fylled all countres with the gladde tydynges of Christ.
15:20So have I enforsed my selfe to preache the gospell not where Christ was named lest I shuld have bylt on another mannes foundacion:
15:21but as it is written: To whom he was not spoken of they shall se: and they that hearde not shall vnderstonde.
15:22For this cause I have bene ofte let to come vnto you:
15:23but now seynge I have no moare to do in these countres and also have bene desyrous many yeares to come vnto you
15:24when I shall take my iorney into spayne I will come to you. I trust to se you in my iorney and to be brought on my waye thither warde by you after that I have somwhat enioyed you.
15:25Now go I vnto Ierusalem and minister vnto the saynctes.
15:26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certayne distribucio vpo the poore saynctes which are at Ierusalem.
15:27It hath pleased them verely and their detters are they. For yf the getils be made partetakers of their spirituall thinges their dutie is to minister vnto the in carnall thinges.
15:28When I have performed this and have brought them this frute sealed. I will come backe agayne by you into Spayne.
15:29And I am sure when I come that I shall come with aboundaunce of the blessinge of the gospell of Christ.
15:30I beseche you brethre for oure Lorde Iesus Christes sake and for the love of the sprete that ye helpe me in my busynes with youre prayers to God for me
15:31that I maye be delyvered from them which beleve not in Iewry and that this my service which I have to Ierusalem maye be accepted of ye saynctes
15:32that I maye come vnto you with ioye by the will of God and maye with you be refresshed.
15:33The God of peace be with you. Amen.
