1 Corinthians - Chapter: 3


3:1	And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, even as to babes in Christ.
3:2	I have fed you with milk and not with solid food; because until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;
3:3	because you are still carnal. Because where there is envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and walk like men?
3:4	Because when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal?
3:5	Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each person?
3:6	I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
3:7	So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
3:8	Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
3:9	Because, we are God's coworkers; you are God's field, you are God's building.
3:10	According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.
3:11	Because no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
3:12	Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
3:13	each one's work will be revealed; because the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
3:14	If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.
3:15	If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
3:16	Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
3:17	If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. Because the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
3:18	Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may be wise.
3:19	Because the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. Because it is written, "He traps the wise in their own craftiness";
3:20	and again, "The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain."
3:21	Therefore let no one boast in men. Because all things are yours:
3:22	whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come; all are yours.
3:23	And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.


3:1	And I could not speake vnto you, brethren, as vnto spirituall men, but as vnto carnall, euen as vnto babes in Christ.
3:2	I gaue you milke to drinke, and not meat: for yee were not yet able to beare it, neither yet nowe are yee able.
3:3	For yee are yet carnall: for whereas there is among you enuying, and strife, and diuisions, are ye not carnall, and walke as men?
3:4	For when one sayeth, I am Pauls, and another, I am Apollos, are yee not carnall?
3:5	Who is Paul then? and who is Apollos, but the ministers by whome yee beleeued, and as the Lord gaue to euery man?
3:6	I haue planted, Apollos watred, but God gaue the increase.
3:7	So then, neither is hee that planteth any thing, neither hee that watreth, but God that giueth the increase.
3:8	And he that planteth, and he that watreth, are one, and euery man shall receiue his wages, according to his labour.
3:9	For we together are Gods labourers: yee are Gods husbandrie, and Gods building.
3:10	According to the grace of God giuen to mee, as a skilfull master builder, I haue laide the foundation, and another buildeth thereon: but let euery man take heede how he buildeth vpon it.
3:11	For other foundation can no man laie, then that which is laied, which is Iesus Christ.
3:12	And if any man builde on this foundation, golde, siluer, precious stones, timber, haye, or stubble,
3:13	Euery mans worke shalbe made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shalbe reueiled by the fire: and the fire shall trie euery mans worke of what sort it is.
3:14	If any mans worke, that he hath built vpon, abide, he shall receiue wages.
3:15	If any mans worke burne, he shall lose, but he shalbe saued himselfe: neuerthelesse yet as it were by the fire.
3:16	Knowe ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
3:17	If any man destroy the Temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy, which ye are.
3:18	Let no man deceiue himselfe: If any man among you seeme to be wise in this world, let him be a foole, that he may be wise.
3:19	For the wisdome of this worlde is foolishnesse with God: for it is written, He catcheth the wise in their owne craftinesse.
3:20	And againe, The Lord knoweth that the thoughtes of the wise be vaine.
3:21	Therefore let no man reioyce in men: for all things are yours.
3:22	Whether it be Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death: whether they be things present, or thinges to come, euen all are yours,
3:23	And ye Christes, and Christ Gods.


3:1	And I coulde not speake vnto you brethre as vnto spretuall: but as vnto carnall even as it were vnto babes in Christ.
3:2	I gave you mylke to drinke and not meate. For ye then were not stronge no nether yet are.
3:3	For ye are yet carnall. As longe verely as ther is amoge you envyige stryfe and dissencio: are ye not carnall and walke after ye manner of me?
3:4	As loge as one sayth I holde of Paul and another I am of Apollo are ye not carnall?
3:5	What is Paul? What thinge is Apollo? Only miministers are they by who ye beleved even as the Lorde gave every ma grace.
3:6	I have planted: Apollo watred: but god gave increace.
3:7	So then nether is he that planteth eny thinge nether he yt watreth: but god which gave the increace.
3:8	He that planteth and he that watreth are nether better then the other. Every man yet shall receave his rewarde accordynge to his laboure.
3:9	We are goddis labourers ye are goddis husbandrye ye are goddis byldynge.
3:10	Accordynge to the grace of god geven vnto me as a wyse bylder have I layde the foundacio And another bylt thero But let every ma take hede how he bildeth apo.
3:11	For other foundacion can no man laye then yt which is layde which is Iesus Christ.
3:12	Yf eny man bilde on this foundacion golde silver precious stones tymber haye or stoble:
3:13	every mannes worke shall appere. For the daye shall declare it and it shalbe shewed in fyre. And ye fyre shall trye euery mannes worke what it is.
3:14	Yf eny mannes worke yt he hath bylt apon byde he shall receave a rewarde.
3:15	If eny manes worke burne he shall suffre losse: but he shalbe safe him selfe: neverthelesse yet as it were thorow fyre.
3:16	Are ye not ware that ye are the temple of god and how that the sprete of god dwelleth in you?
3:17	Yf eny man defyle the temple of god him shall god destroye. For the temple of god is holy which temple ye are.
3:18	Let no man deceave him silfe. Yf eny man seme wyse amonge you let him be a fole in this worlde that he maye be wyse.
3:19	For ye wisdome of this worlde is folysshnes with god. For it is writte: he compaseth the wyse in their craftynes.
3:20	And agayne God knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse that they be vayne.
3:21	22 Therfore let no ma reioyce in men. For all thinges are youres whether it be Paul other Apollo other Cephas: whether it be ye worlde other lyfe other deeth whether they be present thinges or thinges to come: all are youres
3:22	23 and ye are Christes and Christ is goddis.
