2 Corinthians - Chapter: 6

>
6:1Wee then, as workers together with him, beseech you also, that ye receiue not the grace of God in vaine.
6:2(For he saith, I haue heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of saluation haue I succoured thee: beholde, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of saluation)
6:3Giuing no offence in any thing, that the ministery be not blamed:
6:4But in all things approuing our selues, as the Ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
6:5In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings,
6:6By purenesse, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindnesse, by the holy Ghost, by loue vnfained,
6:7By the worde of trueth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousnesse, on the right hand, and on the left,
6:8By honour and dishonour, by euil report and good report, as deceiuers and yet true:
6:9As vnknowen, & yet wel knowen: as dying, and behold, we liue: as chastened, and not killed:
6:10As sorrowfull, yet alway reioycing: as poore, yet making many rich: as hauing nothing, and yet possessing all things.
6:11O yee Corinthians, our mouth is open vnto you, our heart is enlarged.
6:12Yee are not straitened in vs, but yee are straitned in your owne bowels.
6:13Nowe for a recompense in the same, (I speake as vnto my children) be ye also inlarged.
6:14Be ye not vnequally yoked together with vnbeleeuers: for what fellowship hath righteousnesse with vnrighteousnesse? and what communion hath light with darknesse?
6:15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that beleeueth, with an infidel?
6:16And what agreement hath the Temple of God with idoles? for ye are the Temple of the liuing God, as God hath saide, I will dwell in them, and walke in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
6:17Wherefore come out from among them, and bee yee separate, saieth the Lord, and touch not the vncleane thing, and I will receiue you,
6:18And will bee a Father vnto you, and ye shall bee my sonnes and daughters, saith the Lord Almightie.

6:1We as helpers therfore exhorte you, that ye receaue not ye grace of God in vayne.
6:2For he sayeth: I haue herde the in the tyme accepted, and in the daye of saluacion haue I succoured the. Beholde, now is the accepted tyme, now is the daye of saluacion.
6:3Let vs geue no man occasion of euell, that oure office be not euell spoken of:
6:4but in all thinges let vs behaue oure selues as the mynisters of God: in moch pacience, in troubles, in necessities, in anguysshes,
6:5in strypes, in presonmentes, in vproures, in laboures, in watchinges, in fastynges,
6:6in purenesse, in knowlege, in longe sufferynge, in kyndnesse, in the holy goost, in loue vnfayned,
6:7in the worde of the trueth, in the power of God, by the armoure of righteousnes on the rightehande and on the lefte,
6:8by honoure and dishonoure, by euell reporte and good reporte: as disceauers, & yet true:
6:9as vnknowne, and yet knowne: as dyenge, and beholde, we lyue: as chastened, and not kylled:
6:10as sorowynge, and yet allwaye mery: as poore, & yet make many riche: as hauynge nothinge, & yet possessynge all thinges.
6:11O ye Corinthians, oure mouth is open vnto you, oure hert is made large.
6:12Ye are in no straytnesse on oure behalfe: but where as ye are in straytnesse, that do ye of youre owne hertely meanynge.
6:13I speake to you, as to childre, that haue like rewarde with vs.
6:14Set youre selues therfore at large.Beare not a straunge yock with the vnbeleuers. For what fellishippe hath righteousnes with vnrighteousnes? What company hath lighte wt darknesse?
6:15How agreeth Christ with Belial? Or what parte hath the beleuer with the infydele?
6:16How acordeth ye teple of God with ymages? Ye are the temple of the lyuynge God, as sayeth God: I wyl dwell in them, and walke in them, and wyl be their God, & they shalbe my people.
6:17Wherfore come out from amoge them, and separate youre selues (sayeth the LORDE) and touche no vncleane thinge, so wyl I receaue you,
6:18& be youre father, & ye shalbe my sonnes and doughters, sayeth ye Allmightie LORDE.

6:1But we helpynge monesten, that ye resseyuen not the grace of God in veyn.
6:2For he seith, In tyme wel plesinge Y haue herd thee, and in the dai of heelthe Y haue helpid thee. Lo! now a tyme acceptable, lo! now a dai of heelthe.
6:3Yyue we to no man ony offencioun, that oure seruyce be not repreued;
6:4but in alle thingis yyue we vs silf as the mynystris of God, in myche pacience, in tribulaciouns,
6:5in nedis, in angwischis, in betyngis, in prisouns, in dissensiouns with ynne, in trauels, in wakyngis, in fastyngis,
6:6in chastite, in kunnyng, in long abiding, in swetnesse, in the Hooli Goost,
6:7in charite not feined, in the word of treuthe, in the vertu of God; bi armeris of riytwisnesse on the riythalf and on the lefthalf;
6:8bi glorie and vnnoblei; bi yuel fame and good fame; as disseyueris, and trewe men; as thei that ben vnknowun, and knowun;
6:9as men diynge, and lo! we lyuen; as chastisid, and not maad deed;
6:10as sorewful, euere more ioiynge; as hauynge nede, but makynge many men riche; as no thing hauynge, and weldynge alle thingis.
6:11A! ye Corynthies, oure mouth is open to you, oure herte is alargid;
6:12ye ben not angwischid in vs, but ye ben anguischid in youre inwardnessis.
6:13And Y seie as to sones, ye that han the same reward, be ye alargid.
6:14Nyle ye bere the yok with vnfeithful men. For what parting of riytwisnes with wickidnesse? or what felouschipe of liyt to derknessis?
6:15and what acording of Crist to Belial? or what part of a feithful with the vnfeithful?
6:16and what consent to the temple of God with mawmetis? And ye ben the temple of the lyuynge God, as the Lord seith, For Y schal dwelle in hem, and Y schal walke among hem; and Y schal be God of hem, and thei schulen be a puple to me.
6:17For which thing go ye out of the myddil of hem, and be ye departid, seith the Lord, and touche ye not vnclene thing;
6:18and Y schal resseyue you, and schal be to you in to a fadir, and ye schulen be to me in to sones and douytris, seith the Lord almyyti.
