2 Corinthians - Chapter: 6

>
6:1But we helpynge monesten, that ye resseyuen not the grace of God in veyn.
6:2For he seith, In tyme wel plesinge Y haue herd thee, and in the dai of heelthe Y haue helpid thee. Lo! now a tyme acceptable, lo! now a dai of heelthe.
6:3Yyue we to no man ony offencioun, that oure seruyce be not repreued;
6:4but in alle thingis yyue we vs silf as the mynystris of God, in myche pacience, in tribulaciouns,
6:5in nedis, in angwischis, in betyngis, in prisouns, in dissensiouns with ynne, in trauels, in wakyngis, in fastyngis,
6:6in chastite, in kunnyng, in long abiding, in swetnesse, in the Hooli Goost,
6:7in charite not feined, in the word of treuthe, in the vertu of God; bi armeris of riytwisnesse on the riythalf and on the lefthalf;
6:8bi glorie and vnnoblei; bi yuel fame and good fame; as disseyueris, and trewe men; as thei that ben vnknowun, and knowun;
6:9as men diynge, and lo! we lyuen; as chastisid, and not maad deed;
6:10as sorewful, euere more ioiynge; as hauynge nede, but makynge many men riche; as no thing hauynge, and weldynge alle thingis.
6:11A! ye Corynthies, oure mouth is open to you, oure herte is alargid;
6:12ye ben not angwischid in vs, but ye ben anguischid in youre inwardnessis.
6:13And Y seie as to sones, ye that han the same reward, be ye alargid.
6:14Nyle ye bere the yok with vnfeithful men. For what parting of riytwisnes with wickidnesse? or what felouschipe of liyt to derknessis?
6:15and what acording of Crist to Belial? or what part of a feithful with the vnfeithful?
6:16and what consent to the temple of God with mawmetis? And ye ben the temple of the lyuynge God, as the Lord seith, For Y schal dwelle in hem, and Y schal walke among hem; and Y schal be God of hem, and thei schulen be a puple to me.
6:17For which thing go ye out of the myddil of hem, and be ye departid, seith the Lord, and touche ye not vnclene thing;
6:18and Y schal resseyue you, and schal be to you in to a fadir, and ye schulen be to me in to sones and douytris, seith the Lord almyyti.

6:1So we therefore as workers together beseech you, that ye receiue not the grace of God in vaine.
6:2For he sayth, I haue heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of saluation haue I succoured thee: beholde nowe the accepted time, beholde nowe the day of saluation.
6:3We giue no occasion of offence in any thing, that our ministerie shoulde not be reprehended.
6:4But in all things we approue our selues as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
6:5In stripes, in prisons, in tumults, in labours,
6:6By watchings, by fastings, by puritie, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindnesse, by the holy Ghost, by loue vnfained,
6:7By the worde of trueth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousnesse on the right hand, and on the left,
6:8By honour, and dishonour, by euill report, and good report, as deceiuers, and yet true:
6:9As vnknowen, and yet knowen: as dying, and beholde, we liue: as chastened, and yet not killed:
6:10As sorowing, and yet alway reioycing: as poore, and yet make many riche: as hauing nothing, and yet possessing all things.
6:11O Corinthians, our mouth is open vnto you: our heart is made large.
6:12Ye are not kept strait in vs, but ye are kept strait in your owne bowels.
6:13Nowe for the same recompence, I speake as to my children, Be you also inlarged.
6:14Be not vnequally yoked with the infidels: for what fellowship hath righteousnesse with vnrighteousnesse? and what communion hath light with darkenesse?
6:15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath the beleeuer with the infidell?
6:16And what agreement hath the Temple of God with idols? for ye are the Temple of the liuing God: as God hath said, I will dwell among them, and walke there: and I will be their God, and they shalbe my people.
6:17Wherefore come out from among them, and separate your selues, saith the Lord, and touch none vncleane thing, and I wil receiue you.
6:18And I will be a Father vnto you, and ye shalbe my sonnes and daughters, saith the Lord almightie.

6:1We then, as workers together with Him also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
6:2Because, He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
6:3Giving no offense in anything, that the ministry may not be faulted.
6:4But in all things we commend ourselves as the ministers of God: in much patience, in afflictions, in needs, in distresses,
6:5in stripes, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;
6:6by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by genuine love,
6:7by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
6:8by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
6:9as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed;
6:10as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
6:11O you Corinthians! Our mouth is open to you, our heart is wide open.
6:12You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.
6:13Now in return for the same (I speak as to my children), you also be open.
6:14Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Because, what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?
6:15And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has he who believes with an infidel?
6:16And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? Because, you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk in them. And I will be their God, and they will be My people."
6:17Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."
6:18"I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty."
