2 Corinthians - Chapter: 13

>
13:1Lo! this thridde tyme Y come to you, and in the mouth of tweyne or of thre witnessis euery word schal stonde.
13:2Y seide bifor, and seie bifor, as present twies, and now absent, to hem that bifor han synned, and to alle othere; for if Y come eftsoone, Y schal not spare.
13:3Whether ye seken the preef of that Crist, that spekith in me, which is not feble in you?
13:4For thouy he was crucified of infirmyte, but he lyueth of the vertu of God. For also we ben sijk in hym, but we schulen lyue with him of the vertu of God in vs.
13:5Asaie you silf, if ye ben in the feith; ye you silf preue. Whether ye knowen not you silf, for Crist Jhesu is in you? but in happe ye ben repreuable.
13:6But Y hope, that ye knowen, that we ben not repreuable.
13:7And we preien the Lord, that ye do no thing of yuel; not that we seme preued, but that ye do that that is good, and that we ben as repreuable.
13:8For we moun no thing ayens treuthe, but for the treuthe.
13:9For we ioyen, whanne we ben sijk, but ye ben myyti; and we preien this thing, youre perfeccioun.
13:10Therfor Y absent write these thingis, that Y present do not hardere, bi the powere, which the Lord yaf to me in to edificacioun, and not in to youre distruccioun.
13:11Britheren, `hennus forward ioye ye, be ye perfit, excite ye; vndurstonde ye the same thing; haue ye pees, and God of pees and of loue schal be with you.
13:12Grete ye wel togidere in hooli cos. Alle hooli men greten you wel.
13:13hooli men greten you wel.
13:14The grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist, and the charite of God, and the comynyng of the Hooli Gost, be with `you alle. Amen.

 

13:1Now come I the thyrd tyme vnto you In the mouth of two or thre witnesses shall every thinge stonde.
13:2I tolde you before and tell you before: and as I sayde whe I was present with you the seconde tyme so wryte I now beynge absent to them which in tyme past have synned and to all other: yt if I come agayne I will not spare
13:3seynge yt ye seke experience of Christ which speaketh in me which amoge you is not weake but is myghty in you.
13:4And verely though it came of weaknes that he was crucified yet liveth he thorow the power of God. And we no dout are weake in him: but we shall live with him by the myght of God amonge you.
13:5Prove youre selves whether ye are in the fayth or not. Examen youre owne selves: knowe ye not youre awne selves how that Iesus Christ is in you excepte ye be castawayes?
13:6I trust that ye shall knowe yt we are not castawayes.
13:7I desyre before God that ye do none evyll not that we shuld seme comendable: but that ye shuld do that which is honest: and let vs be counted as leawde persones.
13:8We can do no thinge agaynst the trueth but for the trueth.
13:9We are glad when we are weake and ye stronge. This also we wisshe for even that ye were perfect.
13:10Therfore write I these thinges beynge absent lest when I am present I shuld vse sharpenes accordinge to the power which the Lorde hath geven me to edifie and not to destroye.
13:11Finallye brethren fare ye well be perfect be of good comforte be of one mynde lyve in peace and the God of love and peace shalbe with you.
13:12Grete one another in an holy kysse.
13:13All ye saynctes salute you.
13:14The grace of oure Lorde Iesus Christ and the love of God and the fellishippe of the holy goost be with you all. Ame

 

13:1Now come I the thirde tyme vnto you. In the mouth of two or thre witnesses shal euery matter be stablisshed.
13:2I haue tolde you before, & tell you before as present ye seconde tyme, & wryte it now beynge absent, vnto the which in tyme passed haue synned, & to all other: & yf I come agayne, I wil not spare,
13:3seynge that ye seke experiece of him, which speaketh in me, euen Christ, which amonge you is not weake, but is mightie amoge you.
13:4And though he was crucified in weaknes, yet lyueth he in the power of God. And though we are weake in him, yet lyue we with him in the power of God amonge you.
13:5Proue youre selues, whether ye are in the faith, exame youre selues. Or knowe ye not yor selues, yt Iesus Christ is in you? Excepte ye be cast awayes.
13:6But I trust ye knowe, yt we are not cast awayes.
13:7I desyre before God yt ye do no euell: not yt we shulde seme comendable, but yt ye shulde do yt which is good, & let vs be as cast awayes.
13:8For we maye do nothinge agaynst ye trueth, but for ye trueth.
13:9We are glad whan we are weake, & ye stronge: & the same also we wysshe for, namely yor perfectnesse.
13:10Therfore wryte I these thinges beynge absent, lest wha I am present, I shulde vse sharpnesse, acordinge to the power which the LORDE hath geue me to edifye, and not to destroye.
13:11Fynally brethren, reioyse, be parfecte, coforte yor selues, be of one mynde, be peaceable, and the God of loue and peace shalbe wt you.
13:12Salute one another with an holy kysse.
13:13All the sayntes salute you.
13:14The grace of oure LORDE Iesus Christ, & the loue of God, and the fellishippe of ye holy goost be with you all. Amen.
