Ephesians - Chapter: 3


3:1	For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
3:2	If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3:3	How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
3:4	Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
3:5	Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
3:6	That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
3:7	Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
3:8	Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
3:9	And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
3:10	To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
3:11	According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
3:12	In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
3:13	Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
3:14	For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
3:15	Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
3:16	That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
3:17	That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
3:18	May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
3:19	And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
3:20	Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
3:21	Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.


3:1	τουτου χαριν εγω παυλος ο δεσμιος του χριστου ιησου υπερ υμων των εθνων
3:2	ειγε ηκουσατε την οικονομιαν της χαριτος του θεου της δοθεισης μοι εις υμας
3:3	οτι κατα αποκαλυψιν εγνωρισεν μοι το μυστηριον καθως προεγραψα εν ολιγω
3:4	προς ο δυνασθε αναγινωσκοντες νοησαι την συνεσιν μου εν τω μυστηριω του χριστου
3:5	ο εν ετεραις γενεαις ουκ εγνωρισθη τοις υιοις των ανθρωπων ως νυν απεκαλυφθη τοις αγιοις αποστολοις αυτου και προφηταις εν πνευματι
3:6	ειναι τα εθνη συγκληρονομα και συσσωμα και συμμετοχα της επαγγελιας αυτου εν τω χριστω δια του ευαγγελιου
3:7	ου εγενομην διακονος κατα την δωρεαν της χαριτος του θεου την δοθεισαν μοι κατα την ενεργειαν της δυναμεως αυτου
3:8	εμοι τω ελαχιστοτερω παντων των αγιων εδοθη η χαρις αυτη εν τοις εθνεσιν ευαγγελισασθαι τον ανεξιχνιαστον πλουτον του χριστου
3:9	και φωτισαι παντας τις η κοινωνια του μυστηριου του αποκεκρυμμενου απο των αιωνων εν τω θεω τω τα παντα κτισαντι δια ιησου χριστου
3:10	ινα γνωρισθη νυν ταις αρχαις και ταις εξουσιαις εν τοις επουρανιοις δια της εκκλησιας η πολυποικιλος σοφια του θεου
3:11	κατα προθεσιν των αιωνων ην εποιησεν εν χριστω ιησου τω κυριω ημων
3:12	εν ω εχομεν την παρρησιαν και την προσαγωγην εν πεποιθησει δια της πιστεως αυτου
3:13	διο αιτουμαι μη εκκακειν εν ταις θλιψεσιν μου υπερ υμων ητις εστιν δοξα υμων
3:14	τουτου χαριν καμπτω τα γονατα μου προς τον πατερα του κυριου ημων ιησου χριστου
3:15	εξ ου πασα πατρια εν ουρανοις και επι γης ονομαζεται
3:16	ινα δωη υμιν κατα τον πλουτον της δοξης αυτου δυναμει κραταιωθηναι δια του πνευματος αυτου εις τον εσω ανθρωπον
3:17	κατοικησαι τον χριστον δια της πιστεως εν ταις καρδιαις υμων
3:18	εν αγαπη ερριζωμενοι και τεθεμελιωμενοι ινα εξισχυσητε καταλαβεσθαι συν πασιν τοις αγιοις τι το πλατος και μηκος και βαθος και υψος
3:19	γνωναι τε την υπερβαλλουσαν της γνωσεως αγαπην του χριστου ινα πληρωθητε εις παν το πληρωμα του θεου
3:20	τω δε δυναμενω υπερ παντα ποιησαι υπερ εκπερισσου ων αιτουμεθα η νοουμεν κατα την δυναμιν την ενεργουμενην εν ημιν
3:21	αυτω η δοξα εν τη εκκλησια εν χριστω ιησου εις πασας τας γενεας του αιωνος των αιωνων αμην


3:1	For this cause I Paul a in ye bodes of Iesus christ for youre sakes which are hethen:
3:2	Yf ye have hearde of the ministracion of the grace of god which is geven me to you warde.
3:3	For by revelacion shewed he this mistery vnto me as I wrote above in feawe wordes
3:4	wher by when ye rede ye maye knowe myne vnderstondynge in the mistery of Christ
3:5	which mistery in tymes passed was not opened vnto the sonnes of men as it is nowe declared vnto his holy apostles and prophetes by the sprete:
3:6	that the gentyls shuld be inheritours also and of the same body and partakers of his promis yt is in Christ by ye meanes of the gospell
3:7	whereof I am made a minister by the gyfte of the grace of god geve vnto me thorow ye workynge of his power.
3:8	Vnto me the lest of all sayntes is this grace geven that I shuld preache amonge the gentyls the unsearchable ryches of Christ
3:9	and to make all men se what the felyshippe of the mistery is which from the begynnynge of the worlde hath bene hid in God which made all thynges thorow Iesus Christ
3:10	to the intent that now vnto the rulars and powers in heven myght be knowe by the cogregacion ye many folde wisdome of god
3:11	accordinge to ye eternall purpose which he purposed in Christ Iesu oure lorde
3:12	by who we are bolde to drawe nye in ye trust which we have by faith on hi
3:13	Wherfore I desire yt ye faynt not because of my trybulacios for youre sakes: which is youre prayse.
3:14	For this cause I bowe my knees vnto the father of oure lorde Iesus Christ
3:15	which is father over all that ys called father In heven and in erth
3:16	that he wolde graunt you acordynge to the ryches of his glory that ye maye be strenghted with myght by his sprete in the inner man
3:17	yt Christ maye dwell in youre hertes by fayth yt ye beynge roted and grounded in loue
3:18	myght be able to comprehende with all sayntes what ys that bredth aud length deepth and heyth:
3:19	and to knowe what is the love of Christ which love passeth knowledge: that ye might be fulfilled with all manner of fulnes which commeth of God.
3:20	Vnto him that is able to do excedynge aboudantly above all that we axe or thynke accordynge to the power that worketh in vs
3:21	be prayse in the congregacion by Iesus Christ thorow out all generacios from tyme to tyme Amen.
