Ephesians - Chapter: 3


3:1	For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Iesus Christ for you Gentiles,
3:2	If ye haue heard of the dispensation of the grace of God, which is giuen me to youward:
3:3	How that by reuelation hee made knowen vnto me the mysterie, (as I wrote afore in few words,
3:4	Whereby when ye reade, ye may vnderstand my knowledge in the mysterie of Christ.)
3:5	Which in other ages was not made knowen vnto the sonnes of men, as it is now reueiled vnto his holy Apostles and Prophets by the Spirit,
3:6	That the Gentiles should be fellow heires, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ, by the Gospel:
3:7	Whereof I was made a Minister, according to the gift of the grace of God giuen vnto mee, by the effectuall working of his power.
3:8	Unto mee, who am lesse then the least of all Saints, is this grace giuen, that I should preach among the Gentiles the vnsearchable riches of Christ,
3:9	And to make all men see, what is the fellowship of the mysterie, which from the beginning of the world, hath bene hid in God, who created all things by Iesus Christ:
3:10	To the intent that now vnto the principalities and powers in heauenly places, might be knowen by the church, the manifold wisedome of God,
3:11	According to the eternall purpose which he purposed in Christ Iesus our Lord:
3:12	In whom we haue boldnesse and accesse, with confidence, by the faith of him.
3:13	Wherefore I desire that yee faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
3:14	For this cause I bow my knees vnto the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ,
3:15	Of whom the whole family in heauen and earth is named,
3:16	That he would grant you according to the riches of his glory, to bee strengthened with might, by his Spirit in the inner man,
3:17	That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that yee being rooted and grounded in loue,
3:18	May be able to comprehend with all Saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height:
3:19	And to know the loue of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that yee might bee filled with all the fulnesse of God.
3:20	Now vnto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly aboue all that wee aske or thinke, according to the power that worketh in vs,
3:21	Unto him be glory in the Church by Christ Iesus, throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.


3:1	For this cause I Paul am a presoner of Iesus Christ for you Heythen,
3:2	acordinge as ye haue herde of ye office of the grace of God which is geuen me to you warde.
3:3	For by reuelacion was this mystery shewed vnto me, as I wrote aboue in fewe wordes:
3:4	wherby whan ye rede it, ye maye perceaue myne vnderstondynge in ye mystery of Christ,
3:5	which (mystery) in tymes past was not opened vnto the childre of me as it is now declared to his holy Apostles and prophetes by the sprete: namely,
3:6	that the Heythen shulde be inheritours also, and of the same body, and partakers of his promes in Christ by the Gospell,
3:7	wherof I am made a mynister acordynge to the gifte of the grace of God, which is geue me acordinge to the workynge of his power.
3:8	Vnto me the leest of all sayntes is this grace geuen, that I shulde preach amonge the Heythe ye vnsearcheable riches of Christ,
3:9	and to make all men se, what is the fellishippe of the mystery, which fro the begynnynge of the worlde hath bene hyd in God, which made all thiges thorow Iesus Christ:
3:10	to the intent that now vnto the rulers and powers in heaue mighte be knowne by the congregacion the manifolde wyssdome off God,
3:11	acordinge to ye eternall purpose, which he hath shewed in Christ Iesu oure LORDE
3:12	by whom we haue boldnesse and intraunce in all confidece thorow faith on him.
3:13	Wherfore I desyre that ye faynte not because of my tribulacions, yt I suffre for you, which is youre prayse.
3:14	For this cause I bowe my knees vnto the father of oure LORDE Iesus Christ,
3:15	which is the true father, ouer all that is called father in heauen and in earth,
3:16	that he graunte you (acordinge to ye riches of his glory) to be strengthed with power by his sprete in ye inwarde ma,
3:17	that Christ maye dwell in youre hertes by faith, that ye beynge roted and grounded in loue,
3:18	maye be able to coprehende with all sayntes, what is the bredth, and the length, and the deepth, and the heyth:
3:19	and to knowe the loue of Christ, which loue yet passeth all knowlege: that ye maye be fylled with all maner of fulnesse of God.
3:20	Vnto him that is able to do exceadinge abundauntly, aboue all that we axe or vnderstonde (acordinge to ye power that worketh in vs)
3:21	be prayse in the congregacion, which is in Christ Iesu, at all tymes for euer and euer, Amen.


3:1	For the grace of this thing I Poul, the boundun of Crist Jhesu, for you hethene men,
3:2	if netheles ye han herd the dispensacioun of Goddis grace, that is youun to me in you.
3:3	For bi reuelacioun the sacrament is maad knowun to me, as Y aboue wroot in schort thing,
3:4	as ye moun rede, and vndurstonde my prudence in the mysterie of Crist.
3:5	Which was not knowun to othere generaciouns to the sones of men, as it is now schewid to his hooli apostlis and prophetis in the spirit,
3:6	that hethene men ben euen eiris, and of oo bodi, and parteneris togidere of his biheest in Crist Jhesu bi the euangelie;
3:7	whos mynystre Y am maad, bi the yifte of Goddis grace, which is youun to me bi the worchyng of his vertu.
3:8	To me, leeste of alle seyntis, this grace is youun to preche among hethene men the vnserchable richessis of Crist, and to liytne alle men,
3:9	which is the dispensacioun of sacrament hid fro worldis in God, that made alle thingis of nouyt;
3:10	that the myche fold wisdom of God be knowun to princis and potestatis in heuenli thingis bi the chirche,
3:11	bi the bifore ordinaunce of worldis, which he made in Crist Jhesu oure Lord.
3:12	In whom we han trist and nyy comyng, in tristenyng bi the feith of hym.
3:13	For which thing Y axe, that ye faile not in my tribulaciouns for you, which is youre glorie.
3:14	For grace of this thing Y bowe my knees to the fadir of oure Lord Jhesu Crist,
3:15	of whom ech fadirhod in heuenes and in erthe is named,
3:16	that he yyue to you, aftir the richessis of his glorie, vertu to be strengthid bi his spirit in the ynnere man,
3:17	that Crist dwelle bi feith in youre hertis; that ye rootid and groundid in charite,
3:18	moun comprehende with alle seyntis, which is the breede, and the lengthe, and the hiynesse, and the depnesse;
3:19	also to wite the charite of Crist more excellent than science, that ye be fillid in al the plentee of God.
3:20	And to hym that is myyti to do alle thingis more plenteuousli than we axen or vndurstondun, bi the vertu that worchith in vs,
3:21	to hym be glorie in the chirche, and in Crist Jhesu, in to alle the generaciouns of the world of worldis. Amen.
