Philippians - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Moreouer, (brethren) reioyce ye in the Lorde. It greueth me not to wryte one thynge often to you. For to you it is a sure thynge.
3:2Beware of dogges, beware of euyll workers. Beware of dissensyon.
3:3For we are circumcisyon, which serue God in the sprete, and reioyce in Chryst Iesu, and haue no confydence in the flesshe:
3:4though I myght also reioyce in the flesshe. If eny other man thynketh that he hath wherof he might trust in the flesshe: I haue more:
3:5beynge circumcysed the eyght daye, of the kynred of Israel, of the trybe of Beniamin an Ebrue borne of the Ebrues as concernynge the lawe, a Pharisaye:
3:6as concernynge feruentnes, I persecuted the congregacyon, as touchynge the ryghtewesnes which is in the lawe, I was vnrebukable.
3:7But the thynges that were vauntage vnto me, those I counted losse for Chrystes sake.
3:8ye I thynke all thynges but losse for the excellencye of the knowledge of Chryst Iesu my Lorde. For whom I haue counted all thynge losse, and do iudge them but vyle, that I maye wynne Chryst,
3:9and be founde in him not hauynge myne awne ryghtewesnes of the lawe: but that which is thorow the fayth of Chryst: euen the ryghtewesnes which commeth of God thorowe fayth:
3:10that I maye knowe hym and the vertue of hys resurrecyon, and the fellowshyppe of hys passyons, whyle I am conformable vnto hys (deeth)
3:11yf by eny meanes I myght attayne vnto the resurreccyon of the deed.
3:12Not that I haue attayned vnto it all ready, or that I am all ready perfecte: but I folowe, yf that I maye comprehende that, wherin I am comprehended of Chryst Iesu.
3:13Brethren, I counte not my selfe that I haue gotten it as yet, but this one thynge I saye: I forget those thinges which are behinde, & endeuoure my selfe vnto those thinges which are before,
3:14and (accordinge to the marke apoynted) I preace to the rewarde of the hye callynge of God thorowe Chryst Iesu.
3:15Let vs therfore as many as be perfect, be thus wyse mynded, and yf ye be other wyse mynded, God shall open the same also vnto you.
3:16Neuerthelesse vnto that which we haue attayned vnto, lett vs proceade by one rule, that we maye be of one accorde.
3:17Brethren, be folowers together of me, and loke on them which walke euen so, as ye haue vs for an ensample.
3:18For many walke (of whom I haue tolde you often and nowe tell you wepynge) that they are the enemies of the crosse of Christ,
3:19whose ende is damnacion, whose God is theyr belly and glory to theyr shame, which are worldely mynded.
3:20But oure conuersacyon is in heauen, from whence we loke for the saueoure, euen the Lorde Iesus Chryst,
3:21which shall chaunge oure vyle bodie, that he maye make it lyke vnto hys glorious body, accordynge to the workynge, wherby he is able also to subdue all thynges vnto him selfe.

3:1Hennus forward, my britheren, haue ye ioye in the Lord. To write to you the same thingis, to me it is not slow, and to you it is necessarie.
3:2Se ye houndis, se ye yuele werk men, se ye dyuysioun.
3:3For we ben circumcisioun, which bi spirit seruen to God, and glorien in Crist Jhesu, and han not trist in the fleisch,
3:4thouy Y haue trust, yhe, in the fleisch. If ony othere man is seyn to triste in the fleisch,
3:5Y more, that was circumcidid in the eiytthe dai, of the kyn of Israel, of the lynage of Beniamyn, an Ebrew of Ebrewis, bi the lawe a Farisee,
3:6bi loue pursuynge the chirche of God, bi riytwisnesse that is in the lawe lyuynge with out playnt.
3:7But whiche thingis weren to me wynnyngis, Y haue demed these apeyryngis for Crist.
3:8Netheles Y gesse alle thingis to be peirement for the cleer science of Jhesu Crist my Lord. For whom Y made alle thingis peyrement, and Y deme as drit,
3:9that Y wynne Crist, and that Y be foundun in hym, not hauynge my riytwisnesse that is of the lawe, but that that is of the feith of Crist Jhesu, that is of God the riytwisnesse in feith,
3:10to knowe hym, and the vertu of his risyng ayen, and the felouschipe of his passioun, and be maad lijk to his deeth,
3:11if on ony maner Y come to the resurreccioun that is fro deth.
3:12Not that now Y haue takun, or now am parfit; but Y sue, if in ony maner Y comprehende, in which thing also Y am comprehendid of Crist Jhesu.
3:13Bretheren, Y deme me not that Y haue comprehendid; but o thing, Y foryete tho thingis that ben bihyndis, and stretche forth my silf to tho thingis that ben bifore,
3:14and pursue to the ordeyned mede of the hiy clepyng of God in Crist Jhesu.
3:15Therfor who euere we ben perfit, feele we this thing. And if ye vndurstonden in othere manere ony thing, this thing God schal schewe to you.
3:16Netheles to what thing we han comun, that we vndurstonden the same thing, and that we perfitli dwelle in the same reule.
3:17Britheren, be ye my foleweris, and weyte ye hem that walken so, as ye han oure fourme.
3:18For many walken, whiche Y haue seid ofte to you, but now Y wepinge seie, the enemyes of Cristis cros,
3:19who ende is deth, whos god is the wombe, and the glorie in confusioun of hem, that saueren ertheli thingis.
3:20But oure lyuyng is in heuenes; fro whennus also we abiden the sauyour oure Lord Jhesu Crist,
3:21which schal reforme the bodi of oure mekenesse, that is maad lijk to the bodi of his clerenesse, bi the worching bi which he mai `also make alle thingis suget to hym.

3:1Morover my brethren, reioyce in the LORDE. Where as I wryte euer one thinge vnto you, it greueth me not, and maketh you the surer.
3:2Bewarre off dogges, bewarre of euell workers, bewarre off discension:
3:3for we are the circumcision, euen we that serue God in the sprete, and reioyce in Christ Iesu, and haue no confidence in the flesh,
3:4though I haue wherof I mighte reioyce in ye flesh. Yf eny other ma thynke that he hath wherof he mighte reioyce in the flesh, moch more I,
3:5which was circucysed on the eight daye, one of the people of Israel, of the trybe off Ben Iamin, an hebrue of the Hebrues: as concernynge the lawe a Pharise:
3:6as concernynge feruentnes I persecuted the cogregacion: and as touchinge the righteousnes which is in the lawe, I was vnrebukable.
3:7But the thinges that were vauntage vnto me, haue I counted losse for Christes sake.
3:8Yee I thynke all thinges but losse, for that excellent knowleges sake of Christ Iesu my LORDE: for whom I haue counted all thinge losse, and do iudge them but donge, that I mighte wynne Christ,
3:9& be founde in him, not hauynge myne awne righteousnes which commeth of the lawe, but by the faith of Christ (namely) the righteousnes which commeth of God in faith,
3:10to knowe him and the vertue of his resurreccion, and the fellishippe of his passion, that I maye be conformable vnto his death,
3:11yff by eny meanes I mighte attayne to the resurreccion from the deed.
3:12Not that I haue attayned vnto it all ready, or that I am allready perfecte: but I folowe, yf I maye comprehende that, wherin I am comprehended off Christ Iesu.
3:13Brethren, I counte not my selfe yet that I haue gotten it: but one thinge I saye: I forget that which is behynde, and stretch my selfe vnto that which is before,
3:14& preace vnto ye marck apoynted, to optayne the rewarde of the hye callynge of God in Christ Iesu.
3:15Let vs therfore (as many as be parfecte) be thus wyse mynded: and yf ye be otherwyse mynded, I praye God open euen this vnto you.
3:16Neuertheles in that wher vnto we are come, let vs procede by one rule, that we maye be of one accorde.
3:17Brethren, be ye ye folowers of me, and loke on the which walke eue so as ye haue vs for an ensample.
3:18For many walke (off whom I haue tolde you often, but now I tell you wepynge) eue enemies of the crosse of Christ,
3:19whose ende is damnacion, whose God is the bely, & whose glory shalbe to their shame, which are earthly mynded.
3:20But oure conuersacion is in heauen, from whence we loke for the Sauioure Iesu Christ ye LORDE,
3:21which shal chauge or vyle body, yt it maye be like fashioned vnto his glorious body, acordinge to ye workynge wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto himselfe.
