Philippians - Chapter: 4


4:1	Therfore my brethren dearlye beloued & lounged for my ioye & crowne, so continue in the Lord, ye beloued.
4:2	I praye Euodias, & beseche Sintiches that they be of one accorde in the Lorde.
4:3	Yea, and I beseche the faythfull yockefelowe, helpe the women, whiche laboured wyth me in the Gospell, and with Clemente also, and with other my labour felowes, whose names are in the boke of my lyfe.
4:4	Reioyce in the Lorde alway, and agayne I say reioyce.
4:5	Lette your softnes be knowen to all men. The Lorde is euen at hande.
4:6	Be not carefull: but in all thinges shewe your petition vnto God in prayer and supplication, wyth geuinge of thankes.
4:7	And the peace of God, whiche passeth al vnderstandynge, kepe your hertes and myndes in Chryste Iesu.
4:8	Furthermore brethren, whatsoeuer thynges are true, whatsoeuer thinges are honest, whatsoeuer thinges are iuste, whatsoeuer thinges are pure, whatsoeuer thinges pertaine to loue, whatsoeuer thinges are of honeste report: yf there be anie vertuous thinge yf there be anye laudable thinge,
4:9	those same haue ye in your minde, whiche ye haue both learned and receiued, hearde, and also sene in me: those thinges do, and the God of peace shall be wyth you.
4:10	I reioyce in the Lorde greatly, that nowe at the last ye are reuiued agayne to care for me, in that wherin ye were also carefull, but ye lacked opportunitie.
4:11	I speake not because of necessitie. For I haue learned in whatsoeuer estate I am therwyth to be content.
4:12	I can both cast doune my selfe. I can also excede. Euery where, and in all thinges I am instructed, both to be ful, and to be houngrie, to haue plentie, and to suffre nede.
4:13	I can do al thinges thorowe the helpe of Christe whiche strengtheth me.
4:14	Notwithstandinge ye haue well done, that ye beare parte with me in my tribulation.
4:15	Ye of Philippos knowe that in the beginninge of the Gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no congregacion beare parte wyth me, as concerning, geuinge, and receiuinge, but ye onely.
4:16	For when I was in Thessalonica, ye sente ones, and afterwarde agayne vnto my nedes:
4:17	not that I desire gyftes, but I desire aboundaunte frute on youre part.
4:18	I receiued al, and haue plentie. I was euen fylled after that I had receyued of Epaphroditus, that which came from you, & odour that smelleth swete, a sacrifyce accepted and pleasaunt to God.
4:19	My God fulfill youre nedes thorowe hys gloriouse ryches in Iesus Christ.
4:20	Vnto God and oure father be prayse for euermore. Amen.
4:21	Salute all the sainctes in Christ Iesus. The brethren which are with me grete you.
4:22	All the sainctes salute you, and most of all they, which are of the Emperours houshholde.
4:23	The grace of our Lord Iesus Christe be wyth you all. Amen.

4:4	Reioyce in the Lord alwaye and agayne I saye reioyce.
4:5	Let youre softenes be knowen vnto all men: The Lorde is euen at hande.
4:6	Be carefull for nothynge: but in all prayer and supplicacyon let youre peticyons be manifeste vnto God with geuynge of thankes.
4:7	And the peace of God (which passeth all vnderstandynge) kepe youre hertes and myndes thorowe Christ Iesu.
4:8	Furthermore, brethren, whatsoeuer thinges are true, whatsoeuer thynges are honeste, whatsoeuer thinges are iust, whatsoeuer thynges are pure, whatsoeuer thynges are conuenient, whatsoeuer thinges are of honeste reporte: Yf ther be eny vertue, yf ther be eny prayse,
4:9	those same haue ye in youre mynde, which ye haue bothe learned & receaued, hearde also and sene in me those thinges do, and the God of peace shalbe with you.
4:10	I reioyce in the Lord greatly, that nowe at the last youre care is reuyued agayne for me in that wherin ye were also carefull, but ye lacked oportunite.
4:11	I speake not because of necessite. For I haue learned in whatsoeuer estate I am, therwith to be content.
4:12	I knowe howe to be lowe and I knowe howe to excede. Euery where and in all thinges I am instructed, both to be full and to be hongrye, both to haue plenty and to suffre nede.
4:13	I can do all thinges thorowe Christ which strengtheneth me.
4:14	Not withstandynge ye haue well done, that ye bare parte wt me in my tribulacion.
4:15	Ye of Philippos knowe also that in the begynnynge of the Gospell, when I departed from Macedonia, no congregacyon bare parte with me, as concernynge geuynge & receauinge, but ye onely.
4:16	For when I was in Thessalonica, ye sent once and afterward agayne vnto my necessite:
4:17	not that I desire gyftes: but I desyre aboundant frute on youre parte.
4:18	Neuertheles I receaued all, and haue plentie. I was euen fylled after that I receaued of Epaphroditus the thinges, which were sent from you, an odoure of a swete smell a sacrifyce accepted and pleasaunt to God.
4:19	My God shall supplye all youre nede thorow his gloryous riches by Iesu Christ.
4:20	Unto God & oure father be prayse for euermore. Amen.
4:21	Salute all the saynctes in Christ Iesu. The brethren which are with me, greate you.
4:22	All the saynctes salute you, most of all they which are of the emperours housholde.
4:23	The grace of oure Lord Iesu Christ be with you all. Amen.

4:4	Reioyce in the Lord alway, againe I say, reioyce.
4:5	Let your patient minde be knowen vnto all men. The Lord is at hand.
4:6	Be nothing carefull, but in all thinges let your requestes be shewed vnto God in praier, and supplication with giuing of thankes.
4:7	And the peace of God which passeth all vnderstanding, shall preserue your heartes and mindes in Christ Iesus.
4:8	Furthermore, brethre, whatsoeuer things are true, whatsoeuer things are honest, whatsoeuer thinges are iust, whatsoeuer thinges are pure, whatsoeuer thinges are worthie loue, whatsoeuer things are of good report, if there be any vertue, or if there be any praise, thinke on these things,
4:9	Which yee haue both learned and receiued, and heard, and seene in mee: those things doe, and the God of peace shalbe with you.
4:10	Nowe I reioyce also in the Lord greatly, that nowe at the last your care for mee springeth afresh, wherein notwithstanding ye were careful, but yee lacked opportunitie.
4:11	I speake not because of want: for I haue learned in whatsoeuer state I am, therewith to bee content.
4:12	And I can be abased, and I can abounde: euery where in all things I am instructed, both to be full, and to be hungrie, and to abounde, and to haue want.
4:13	I am able to do al things through the helpe of Christ, which strengtheneth me.
4:14	Notwithstanding yee haue well done, that yee did communicate to mine affliction.
4:15	And yee Philippians knowe also that in the beginning of the Gospell, when I departed from Macedonia, no Church communicated with me, concerning the matter of giuing and receiuing, but yee onely.
4:16	For euen when I was in Thessalonica, yee sent once, and afterward againe for my necessitie,
4:17	Not that I desire a gift: but I desire the fruit which may further your reckoning.
4:18	Now I haue receiued all, and haue plentie: I was euen filled, after that I had receiued of Epaphroditus that which came from you, an odour that smellleth sweete, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasant to God.
4:19	And my God shall fulfill all your necessities through his riches with glorie in Iesus Christ.
4:20	Vnto God euen our Father be praise for euermore, Amen.
4:21	Salute all the Saintes in Christ Iesus. The brethren, which are with me, greete you.
4:22	All the Saintes salute you, and most of all they which are of Cesars houshold.
4:23	The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you all, Amen.
