Philippians - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Moreouer my brethren, reioyce in the Lorde. It greueth me not to write one thinge often to you. For to you it is a sure thynge.
3:2Beware of dogges, beware of euyll workes. Beware of dyssencyon.
3:3For we are cyrcumcysion, whyche worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christe Iesu, and haue no confidence in the fleshe,
3:4though I haue wherof I might reioice in the fleshe. If any other man thinke that he hath wherof he mighte truste in the fleshe, much more I,
3:5circumcised the eighte daye, of the kynred of Israel, of the tribe of Beniamin, an Hebrue borne of the Hebrues: as concerninge the lawe, a pharisey,
3:6and as concerning feruentnes, I persecuted the congregation, & as touching the ryghtuousnes, whiche is in the lawe, I was vnrebukeable.
3:7But the thinges that were vauntage vnto me. I counted losse for Christes sake.
3:8Yea I thinke al thinges but losse for that excellent knowledge sake of Christ Iesu my Lord. For whom I haue counted al thinges losse, and do iudge them but dounge, that I myght wynne Christe,
3:9and might be founde in hym, not hauinge mine owne rightuousnes, which is of the lawe, but that whyche spryngeth of the fayth, is in CHRISTE. I meane the rightuousnes, whiche commeth of God thorowe fait
3:10in knowinge him and the vertue of his resurreccion, & the fellowshippe of hys passyons, that I myghte be conformable vnto his death,
3:11yf by anye meanes I myght atteyne vnto the resurreccyon from death.
3:12Not as though I had alreadie atteined to it, either were already perfecte: but I folowe yf that I maye comprehende that, wherin I am comprehended of Christ Iesu.
3:13Brethren I count not my selfe that I haue gotten it: but one thinge I say. I forget that, whiche is behinde, & stretche my selfe vnto that whiche is before,
3:14and prease vnto the marke appointed, to obteine the reward of the high callinge of God in Christe Iesu.
3:15Let vs therfore as many, as be perfect be thus wyse minded, & yf ye be other wise minded, I pray God open euen this vnto you.
3:16Neuertheles in the, whervnto we are come, let vs procede by one rule, that we may be of one accord.
3:17Brethren be folowers of me, and loke on them which walke euen so, as ye haue vs for an ensample.
3:18For many walke (of whom I haue tolde you often, and nowe tel you weping) that they are the enemies of the crosse of Christ,
3:19whose ende is dampnation, whose God is theyr belye, and whose glorye is to theyr shame, whiche are worldlye minded.
3:20But oure conuersation is in heauen, from whence we loke for a sauiour, euen the Lorde Iesus Christ,
3:21whiche shal chaunge oure vyle bodies, that they maie be fashioned like vnto his glorious bodie, accordinge to the working, wherby he is able to subdue all thinges vnto him selfe.

3:1Moreouer, (brethren) reioyce ye in the Lorde. It greueth me not to wryte one thynge often to you. For to you it is a sure thynge.
3:2Beware of dogges, beware of euyll workers. Beware of dissensyon.
3:3For we are circumcisyon, which serue God in the sprete, and reioyce in Chryst Iesu, and haue no confydence in the flesshe:
3:4though I myght also reioyce in the flesshe. If eny other man thynketh that he hath wherof he might trust in the flesshe: I haue more:
3:5beynge circumcysed the eyght daye, of the kynred of Israel, of the trybe of Beniamin an Ebrue borne of the Ebrues as concernynge the lawe, a Pharisaye:
3:6as concernynge feruentnes, I persecuted the congregacyon, as touchynge the ryghtewesnes which is in the lawe, I was vnrebukable.
3:7But the thynges that were vauntage vnto me, those I counted losse for Chrystes sake.
3:8ye I thynke all thynges but losse for the excellencye of the knowledge of Chryst Iesu my Lorde. For whom I haue counted all thynge losse, and do iudge them but vyle, that I maye wynne Chryst,
3:9and be founde in him not hauynge myne awne ryghtewesnes of the lawe: but that which is thorow the fayth of Chryst: euen the ryghtewesnes which commeth of God thorowe fayth:
3:10that I maye knowe hym and the vertue of hys resurrecyon, and the fellowshyppe of hys passyons, whyle I am conformable vnto hys (deeth)
3:11yf by eny meanes I myght attayne vnto the resurreccyon of the deed.
3:12Not that I haue attayned vnto it all ready, or that I am all ready perfecte: but I folowe, yf that I maye comprehende that, wherin I am comprehended of Chryst Iesu.
3:13Brethren, I counte not my selfe that I haue gotten it as yet, but this one thynge I saye: I forget those thinges which are behinde, & endeuoure my selfe vnto those thinges which are before,
3:14and (accordinge to the marke apoynted) I preace to the rewarde of the hye callynge of God thorowe Chryst Iesu.
3:15Let vs therfore as many as be perfect, be thus wyse mynded, and yf ye be other wyse mynded, God shall open the same also vnto you.
3:16Neuerthelesse vnto that which we haue attayned vnto, lett vs proceade by one rule, that we maye be of one accorde.
3:17Brethren, be folowers together of me, and loke on them which walke euen so, as ye haue vs for an ensample.
3:18For many walke (of whom I haue tolde you often and nowe tell you wepynge) that they are the enemies of the crosse of Christ,
3:19whose ende is damnacion, whose God is theyr belly and glory to theyr shame, which are worldely mynded.
3:20But oure conuersacyon is in heauen, from whence we loke for the saueoure, euen the Lorde Iesus Chryst,
3:21which shall chaunge oure vyle bodie, that he maye make it lyke vnto hys glorious body, accordynge to the workynge, wherby he is able also to subdue all thynges vnto him selfe.

3:1Moreouer, my brethren, reioyce in the Lord. It grieueth mee not to write the same things to you, and for you it is a sure thing.
3:2Beware of dogges: beware of euil workers: beware of the concision.
3:3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh:
3:4Though I might also haue confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, much more I,
3:5Circumcised the eight day, of the kinred of Israel, of the tribe of Beniamin, an Ebrewe of the Ebrewes, by the Lawe a Pharise.
3:6Concerning zeale, I persecuted ye Church: touching the righteousnesse which is in the Law, I was vnrebukeable.
3:7But the thinges that were vantage vnto me, the same I counted losse for Christes sake.
3:8Yea, doubtlesse I thinke all thinges but losse for the excellent knowledge sake of Christ Iesus my Lord, for whome I haue counted all things losse, and doe iudge them to bee dongue, that I might winne Christ,
3:9And might bee founde in him, that is, not hauing mine owne righteousnesse, which is of the Lawe, but that which is through the faith of Christ, euen the righteousnesse which is of God through faith,
3:10That I may know him, and the vertue of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his afflictions, and be made conformable vnto his death,
3:11If by any meanes I might attaine vnto the resurrection of the dead:
3:12Not as though I had alreadie attained to it, either were alreadie perfect: but I follow, if that I may comprehend that for whose sake also I am comprehended of Christ Iesus.
3:13Brethren, I count not my selfe, that I haue attained to it, but one thing I doe: I forget that which is behinde, and endeuour my selfe vnto that which is before,
3:14And follow hard toward the marke, for the prise of the hie calling of God in Christ Iesus.
3:15Let vs therefore as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if yee be otherwise minded, God shall reueile euen the same vnto you.
3:16Neuerthelesse, in that whereunto wee are come, let vs proceede by one rule, that wee may minde one thing.
3:17Brethren, bee followers of mee, and looke on them, which walke so, as yee haue vs for an ensample.
3:18For many walke, of whom I haue told you often, and nowe tell you weeping, that they are the enemies of the Crosse of Christ:
3:19Whose ende is damnation, whose God is their bellie, and whose glorie is to their shame, which minde earthly things.
3:20But our conuersation is in heauen, from whence also we looke for the Sauiour, euen the Lord Iesus Christ,
3:21Who shall change our vile bodie, that it may be fashioned like vnto his glorious body, according to the working, whereby hee is able euen to subdue all things vnto him selfe.
