1 Timothy - Chapter: 2

2:1	I exhorte therfore, that aboue al thynges, prayers, supplicacyons intercessyons, and geuynge of thankes be had for all men:
2:2	for kynges, and for all that are in authorytye, that we maye lyue a quyete and a peasable lyfe, in all godlynes and honestye.
2:3	For that is good and accepted in the syghte of God oure sauyoure,
2:4	whiche wyll haue all men saued, and to come vnto the knoweledge of the trueth.
2:5	For there is one God, and one Meadiatoure betwene God and man, which is the man Christ Iesus
2:6	which gaue hym self a raunsome for al men, that it shoulde be testifyed at hys tyme,
2:7	where vnto I am ordeyned a preacher and an Apostle: I tell the trueth in Christe and lye not, beynge the teacher of the gentyles in fayth and verytye.
2:8	I wyll therfore that the men praye euerye where lyfting vp pure handes wythout wrath or doubtyng.
2:9	Lykewyse also the women that they araye them selues in comlye apparell wyth shamefastnes and discrete behauyoure not wyth broyded heare other golde, or pearles, or costlye araye:
2:10	but wyth suche as becommeth women that professe the worshyppyng of God thorowe good workes.
2:11	Let the woman learne in silence with all subieccyon.
2:12	I suffer not a woman to teache, neyther to haue authoritie ouer a man: but for to be in silence.
2:13	For Adam was fyrste formed, and then Eue.
2:14	Also Adam was not deceyued, but the woman was deceyued, and was in a transgressyon.
2:15	Notwythstandyng thorow bearyng of chyldren they shalbe saued, so they continue in faythe, loue & holynes with discrecion.

2:5	For ther is one God, and one mediator betwene God and man, euen the man Christ Iesus,
2:6	whych gaue him selfe a raunsome for all men, that it shulde be testifyed at hys tyme,
2:7	where vnto I am ordayned a preacher and an Apostle. I tell the trueth in Christ and lye not: beynge the teacher of the gentyls wyth fayth and veritye.
2:8	I wyll therfore that the men praye euery where, lyftynge vp pure handes without wrath, or doubtinge.
2:9	Lykewise also the wemen, that they araye them selues in comlye apparell wyth shamfastnes and discrete behaueour, not wt broyded heare, ether golde or pearles, or costly araye:
2:10	but as becommeth wemen, that professe godlynesse thorowe good worckes.
2:11	Let the woman learne in sylence wyth all subieccyon.
2:12	But I suffre not a woman to teach, nether to vsurpe auctoryte ouer the man: but to be in sylence.
2:13	For Adam was fyrst fourmed, & then Eue.
2:14	Adam also was not deceaued, but the woman was deceaued, and was subdued to the transgressyon.
2:15	Notwythstandynge thorowe bearynge of chyldren she shalbe saued, yf they contynue in fayth and loue, and holynes, wyth discrecyon.

2:2	For Kings, and for all that are in authoritie, that we may leade a quiet and a peaceable life, in all godlinesse and honestie.
2:3	For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Sauiour,
2:4	Who will that all men shalbe saued, and come vnto the acknowledging of the trueth.
2:5	For there is one God, and one Mediatour betweene God and man, which is the man Christ Iesus,
2:6	Who gaue himselfe a ransome for all men, to be that testimonie in due time,
2:7	Whereunto I am ordeined a preacher and an Apostle (I speake the trueth in Christ, and lie not) euen a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and veritie.
2:8	I will therefore that the men pray, euery where lifting vp pure hands without wrath, or douting.
2:9	Likewise also the women, that they aray themselues in comely apparell, with shamefastnes and modestie, not with broyded heare, or gold, or pearles, or costly apparell,
2:10	But (as becommeth women that professe the feare of God) with good workes.
2:11	Let the woman learne in silence with all subiection.
2:12	I permit not a woman to teache, neither to vsurpe authoritie ouer the man, but to be in silence.
2:13	For Adam was first formed, then Eue.
2:14	And Adam was not deceiued, but the woman was deceiued, and was in the transgression.
2:15	Notwithstanding, through bearing of children she shalbe saued if they continue in faith, and loue, and holines with modestie.
