>


2:1	Bvt speake thou that whiche becommeth wholsome learnyng.
2:2	That the elder men be sober, honest, discret, sounde in the fayth, in loue, and in pacience.
2:3	And the elder women lykewyse, that they be in such rayment as becommeth holynes, not false accusars, not geuen to muche drynkynge, but teachers of honest thinges
2:4	to make the yong women sobre mynded, to loue theyr husbandes, to loue their chyldren,
2:5	to be dyscret, chast, huswyfly, good & obedyent vnto theyr owne husbandes, that the word of God be not euyl spoken of.
2:6	Young men lykewyse exhort that they be sobre mynded.
2:7	Aboue all thynges shewe thy selfe an ensample of good workes wyth vncorrupt doctryne wyth honesty,
2:8	and wyth the wholesom worde, which cannot be rebuked, that he which wythstandeth, maye be ashamed, hauyng nothynge in you that he maye disprayse.
2:9	The seruauntes exhort to be obedient vnto theyr owne maysters, and to please in al thynges, not aunswerynge agayne,
2:10	neyther be pyckers, but that they shewe all good faythfulnes, that they maye do worshyp to the doctryne of oure sauyoure God in all thynges.
2:11	For the grace of God, that bringeth saluacion vnto al men, hath apered
2:12	& teacheth vs that we shoulde denye vngodlynes & worldly lustes, and that we shoulde lyue sobre mynded ryghtuouslye and Godly in this present worlde,
2:13	lokynge for that blessed hope and gloryous apperyng of the myghtye God, and of oure sauyoure Iesu Christe,
2:14	whiche gaue hym selfe for vs, to redeme vs from al vnryghtuousnes and to pourge vs a peculyar people vnto him selfe, feruently geuen vnto good workes.
2:15	These thynges speake, and exhorte, and rebuke, wyth all commaundyng. Se that no man despyse the.

2:3	the elder wemen lykewyse, that they be in soche rayment as be commeth holynes, not beynge false accusars, not geuen to moch wyne, but that they teache honest thynges,
2:4	to make the younge wemen sobre mynded, to loue theyr husbandes, to loue their chyldren,
2:5	to be discrete, chast, huswyfly good, obedient vnto their husbandes, that the worde of God be not euyll spoken of.
2:6	Yonge men lykewyse exhorte, that they be sobre mynded.
2:7	In all thinges shewe thy selfe an ensample of good worckes in the doctryne, with honestie, grauytie, & with the wholsome
2:8	worde which cannot be rebuked: that he which withstandeth, maye be ashamed, hauinge no euell thynge to saye of you.
2:9	Exhort seruauntes, to be obedient vnto their awne masters, & to please them in all thinges, not answering agayne,
2:10	nether to be pickers, but that they shewe all good faythfulnes, that they maye do worshippe to the doctrine of God oure saueoure in all thynges.

2:2	That the elder men be watchful, graue, teperate, sounde in the faith, in loue, and in patience:
2:3	The elder women likewise, that they be in such behauiour as becommeth holinesse, not false accusers, not subiect to much wine, but teachers of honest things,
2:4	That they may instruct the yong women to be sober minded, that they loue their husbands, that they loue their children,
2:5	That they be temperate, chaste, keeping at home, good and subiect vnto their husbands, that the word of God be not euill spoken of.
2:6	Exhort yong men likewise, that they bee sober minded.
2:7	In all things shewe thy selfe an ensample of good woorkes with vncorrupt doctrine, with grauitie, integritie,
2:8	And with the wholesome woorde, which can not be condemned, that hee which withstandeth, may be ashamed, hauing nothing concerning you to speake euill of.
2:9	Let seruants be subiect to their masters, and please them in al things, not answering again,
2:10	Neither pickers, but that they shew al good faithfulnesse, that they may adorne the doctrine of God our Sauiour in all things.
2:11	For that grace of God, that bringeth saluation vnto all men, hath appeared,
2:12	And teacheth vs that we should denie vngodlinesse and worldly lusts, and that we should liue soberly and righteously, and godly in this present world,
2:13	Looking for that blessed hope, and appearing of that glorie of that mightie God, and of our Sauiour Iesus Christ,
2:14	Who gaue him selfe for vs, that hee might redeeme vs from all iniquitie, and purge vs to bee a peculiar people vnto himselfe, zealous of good woorkes.
2:15	These things speake, and exhort, and conuince with all authoritie. See that no man despise thee.
