| 3:2 | that they speake euyll of no man: that they be no fyghters, but gentle, shewynge all mekenes vnto all men. |
| 3:3 | For we oure selues also were somtyme foolyshe dysobedient, deceaued, seruynge diuerse lustes and volupteousnes, lyuynge in maliciousnes and enuye, full of hate, hatynge one another. |
| 3:4 | But after that the kyndnes and loue of oure saueoure God to man warde appeared, |
| 3:5 | not by the dedes of rightewesnes which we wrought, but accordynge to hys mercye he saued vs by the fountayne of the newe byrth, and renuynge of the holy goost, |
| 3:6 | which he shedd on vs abountdantly, thorowe Iesus Christ oure saueoure, |
| 3:7 | that we iustifyed by hys grace, shulde be made heyres accordinge to the hope of eternall lyfe, |
| 3:8 | Thys is a true sayinge. Of these thynges I wyll that thou certifye, that they which beleue in God, myght be diligent to go forwarde in good workes. For these thynges are good and profitable vnto men, |
| 3:9 | Folysshe questyons, and genealogies, and braulynge, thorowe stryuinges aboute the lawe, auoyde? for they are vnprofytable and superfluous. |
| 3:10 | A man that is an auctor offectes, after the fyrst & the seconde admonycion auoyde: |
| 3:11 | knowynge, that he (that is soche) is peruerted & synneth euen damned by hym selfe. |
| 3:12 | When I shall sende Artemas vnto the, or Tychicus, be diligent, to come to me vnto Nichopolis: For I haue determined there to winter, |
| 3:13 | Bringe Zenas the lawear & Apollos on their iorney diligently, that nothynge be lackynge vnto them. |
| 3:14 | And let oures also learne to excell in good workes, as farforth as nede requyreth, that they be not vnfrutefull. |
| 3:15 | All that are with me, salute the. Grete them that loue vs in the fayth. Grace be with you all. Amen. |

| 3:2 | to blasfeme no man, to be not ful of chiding, but temperat, schewynge al myldenesse to alle men. |

| 3:7 | oure saueour, that we iustified bi his grace, ben eiris by hope of euerlastinge lijf. |
| 3:8 | A trewe word is, and of these thingis Y wole that thou conferme othere, that thei that bileuen to God, be bisy to be aboue othere in good werkis. These thingis ben good, and profitable to men. |
| 3:9 | And eschewe thou foltische questiouns, and genologies, and stryues, and fiytyngis of the lawe; for tho ben vnprofitable and veyn. |
| 3:10 | Eschewe thou a man eretik, aftir oon and the secound correccioun; |
| 3:11 | witinge that he that is siche a maner man is subuertid, and trespassith, and is dampned bi his owne dom. |

| 3:5 | not for ye dedes of righteousnes which we wroughte, but after his mercy he saued vs by the fountayne of the new byrth, and renuynge of the holy goost, |

| 3:7 | yt we beynge made righteous by his grace, shulde be heyres of eternall life acordynge to hope. |
| 3:8 | This is a true sayege. Of these thinges wolde I that thou shuldest speake earnestly, that they which are become beleuers in God, might be diligent to excell in good workes: for these thinges are good and profitable vnto me. |
| 3:9 | As for folish questions, and genealogies, and braulynges and stryuynges aboute ye lawe, auoyde the, for they are vnprofitable and vayne. |
| 3:10 | A ma that is geuen vnto heresye, after ye first and seconde monicion, auoyde, |
| 3:11 | and knowe, that he that is soch, is peruerted, & synneth euen damned by his awne iudgment. |
| 3:12 | Whan I shal sende Artemas or Tichicus vnto ye, make spede to come to me vnto Nicopolis, for I haue determyned there to wynter. |
| 3:13 | Brynge Zenas ye Scrybe and Apollos on their iourney diligently, that nothinge be lackynge vnto them. |
