| 1:1 | God who at sundry times, and in diuers manners, spake in time past vnto the Fathers by the Prophets, |
| 1:2 | Hath in these last dayes spoken vnto vs by his Sonne, whom he hath appointed heire of all things, by whom also he made the worlds, |
| 1:3 | Who being the brightnesse of his glory, and the expresse image of his person, and vpholding all things by the word of his power, when hee had by himselfe purged our sinnes, sate down on ye right hand of the Maiestie on high, |
| 1:4 | Being made so much better then the Angels, as hee hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name then they. |
| 1:5 | For vnto which of the Angels said he at any time, Thou art my sonne, this day haue I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Sonne. |
| 1:6 | And againe, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, hee saith, And let all the Angels of God worship him. |
| 1:7 | And of the Angels he saith: Who maketh his Angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. |
| 1:8 | But vnto the Sonne, he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for euer and euer: a scepter of righteousnesse is the scepter of thy kingdome. |
| 1:9 | Thou hast loued righteousnesse, and hated iniquitie, therefore God, euen thy God hath anointed thee with the oyle of gladnesse aboue thy fellowes. |
| 1:10 | And, thou Lord in the beginning hast layed the foundation of the earth: and the heauens are the works of thine hands. |
| 1:11 | They shall perish, but thou remainest: and they all shal waxe old as doth a garment. |
| 1:12 | And as a vesture shalt thou fold them vp, and they shall be changed, but thou art the same, and thy yeeres shall not faile? |
| 1:13 | But to which of the Angels said hee at any time, Sit on my right hand, vntill I make thine enemies thy footstoole? |
| 1:14 | Are they not all ministring spirits, sent foorth to minister for them, who shall be heires of saluation? |

| 1:5 | For vnto which of the angels sayde he at eny tyme: Thou art my sonne, this daye haue I begotten the? And agayne: I will be his father, & he shalbe my sonne: |
| 1:6 | And agayne, wha he bryngeth in the fyrst begotte sonne in to the worlde, he sayeth: And all the angels of God shal worshippe him. |
| 1:7 | And of the angels he sayeth: He maketh his angels spretes, & his mynisters flames of fyre. |
| 1:8 | But vnto ye sonne he sayeth: God, yi seate endureth for euer & euer: the cepter of yi kyngdome is a right cepter. |
| 1:9 | Thou hast loued righteousnes, & hated iniquyte: wherfore God (which is thy God) hath anoynted the with the oyle of gladnesse aboue yi felowes. |
| 1:10 | And thou LORDE in ye begynnynge hast layed the foundacion of the earth, and ye heaues are the workes of thy handes, |
| 1:11 | they shal perishe, but thou shalt endure: they all shal waxe olde as doth a garmet, |
| 1:12 | and as a vesture shalt thou chaunge them, and they shalbe chaunged. But thou art ye same, and thy yeares shal not fayle. |
| 1:13 | Vnto which of the angels sayde he at eny tyme: Syt thou on my righte hade, tyll I make thyne enemies thy fote stole? |
| 1:14 | Are they not all mynistrynge spretes, sent to mynister for their sakes, which shalbe heyres of saluacion? |

| 1:5 | For to whiche of the aungels seide God ony tyme, Thou art my sone, Y haue gendrid thee to dai? And eftsoone, Y schal be to hym in to a fadir, and he schal be to me in to a sone? |
| 1:6 | And whanne eftsoone he bryngith in the firste bigetun sone in to the world, he seith, And alle the aungels of God worschipe hym. |
| 1:7 | But he seith to aungels, He that makith hise aungels spiritis, and hise mynystris flawme of fier. |
| 1:8 | But to the sone he seith, God, thi trone is in to the world of world; a yerde of equite is the yerde of thi rewme; |
| 1:9 | thou hast louyd riytwisnesse, and hatidist wickidnesse; therfor the God, thi God, anoyntide thee with oile of ioye, more than thi felowis. |
| 1:10 | And, Thou, Lord, in the bigynnyng foundidist the erthe, and heuenes ben werkis of thin hondis; thei schulen perische, |
| 1:11 | but thou schalt perfitli dwelle; and alle schulen wexe elde as a cloth, and thou schalt chaunge hem as a cloth, |
| 1:12 | and thei schulen be chaungid. But thou art the same thi silf, and thi yeeris schulen not faile. |
| 1:13 | But to whiche of the aungels seide God at ony tyme, Sitte thou on my riythalf, till Y putte thin enemyes a stool of thi feet? |
| 1:14 | Whether thei alle ben not seruynge spiritis, sente to seruen for hem that taken the eritage of heelthe? |
