9:1	So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies, & behold, they were written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and Iudah, who were caried away to Babylon for their transgression.
9:2	Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions, in their cities, were the Israelites, the Priests, Leuits, and the Nethinims.
9:3	And in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh.
9:4	Uthai the sonne of Amihud, the sonne of Omri, the sonne of Imri, the sonne of Bani, of the children of Pharez the sonne of Iudah.
9:5	And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the first borne, and his sonnes.
9:6	And of the sonnes of Zerah: Ieuel, and their brethren, sixe hundred and ninetie.
9:7	And of the sonnes of Beniamin: Sallu the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Hodauiah, the sonne of Hasenuah:
9:8	And Ibneiah the sonne of Ieroham, and Elah the sonne of Uzzi, the sonne of Michri, and Meshullam the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Reuel, the sonne of Ibniiah,
9:9	And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fiftie and sixe. All these men were chiefe of the fathers in the house of their fathers.
9:10	And of the Priests: Iedaiah, and Iehoiarib, and Iachin,
9:11	And Azariah the sonne of Hilkiah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub the ruler of the house of God.
9:12	And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Passhur, the sonne of Malchiiah, and Maasia the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iahzerah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Meshillemith, the sonne of Immer.
9:13	And their brethren, heads of the house of their fathers, a thousand, and seuen hundred and threescore, very able men for the worke of the seruice of the house of God.
9:14	And of the Leuites: Shemaiah the sonne of Hasshub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah, of the sonnes of Merari.
9:15	And Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal: and Mattaniah the sonne of Micah, the sonne of Zichri, the sonne of Asaph.
9:16	And Obadiah the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun: and Berechiah the sonne of Asa, the sonne of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
9:17	And the Porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chiefe.
9:18	(Who hitherto waited in the kings gate Eastward) they were Porters in the companies of the children of Leui.
9:19	And Shallum the sonne of Kore, the sonne of Ebiasaph, the sonne of Korah, and his brethren (of the house of his father) the Korahites, were ouer the worke of the seruice, keepers of the gates of the Tabernacle: and their fathers being ouer the hoste of the Lord, were keepers of the entrie.
9:20	And Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar was the ruler ouer them in time past, and the Lord was with him.
9:21	And Zechariah the sonne of Meshelemiah, was porter of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
9:22	All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates, were two hundred and twelue. These were reckoned by their genealogie in their villages: whom Dauid and Samuel the Seer, did ordeine in their set office.
9:23	So they and their children had the ouersight of the gates of the house of the Lord, namely, the house of the Tabernacle, by wards.
9:24	In foure quarters were the porters: toward the East, West, North, and South.
9:25	And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seuen dayes, from time to time with them.
9:26	For these Leuites, the foure chiefe porters, were in their set office, and were ouer the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
9:27	And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was vpon them, and the opening thereof euery morning, perteined to them.
9:28	And certaine of them had the charge of the ministring vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
9:29	Some of them also were appointed to ouersee the vessels, and all the instruments of the Sanctuarie, and the fine floure, and the wine, and the oyle, and the frankincense, and the spices.
9:30	And some of the sonnes of the Priests made the oyntment of the spices.
9:31	And Mattithiah, one of the Leuites (who was the first borne of Shallum the Korahite) had the set office ouer the things that were made in the pannes.
9:32	And other of their brethren of the sonnes of the Kohathites, were ouer the Shew-bread to prepare it euery Sabbath.
9:33	And these are the singers, chiefe of the fathers of the Leuites, who remayning in the chambers, were free: for they were imployed in that worke, day and night.
9:34	These chiefe fathers of the Leuites, were chiefe throughout their generations; these dwelt at Ierusalem.
9:35	And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Iehiel, whose wiues name was Maacha:
9:36	And his first borne sonne Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
9:37	And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
9:38	And Mikloth begate Shimeam: and they also dwelt with their brethren at Ierusalem, ouer against their brethren.
9:39	And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begate Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
9:40	And the sonne of Ionathan was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal begate Micah.
9:41	And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
9:42	And Ahaz begate Iarah, and Iarah begate Alemeth, & Azmaueth, and Zimri: and Zimri begate Moza,
9:43	And Moza begate Binea: and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his sonne, Azel his sonne.
9:44	And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sonnes of Azel.

9:9	And their brethren according to their generations nine hundreth, fiftie and sixe: all these men were chiefe fathers in the housholdes of their fathers.
9:10	And of the Priestes, Iedaiah, and Iehoiarib, and Iachin,
9:11	And Azariah the sonne of Hilkiah, ye sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub the chiefe of the house of God,
9:12	And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham, ye sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiiah, and Maasai the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iahzerah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Meshillemith, the sonne of Immer.
9:13	And their brethre the chiefe of the households of their fathers a thousand, seuen hundreth and three score valiant men, for the worke of the seruice of the house of God.
9:14	And of the Leuites, Shemaiah the sonne of Hasshub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah of the sonnes of Merari,
9:15	And Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal, and Mattaniah the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zichri, the sonne of Asaph,
9:16	And Obadiah the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun, and Berechiah, the sonne of Asa, the sonne of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
9:17	And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chiefe.
9:18	For they were porters to this time by companies of the children of Leui vnto the Kinges gate eastward.
9:19	And Shallum the sonne of Kore the sonne of Ebiasaph the sonne of Korah, and his brethren the Korathites (of the house of their father) were ouer the worke, and office to keepe the gates of the Tabernacle: so their families were ouer the hoste of the Lord, keeping the entrie.
9:20	And Phinehas ye sonne of Eleazar was their guide, and the Lord was with him.
9:21	Zechariah the sonne of Meshelemiah was the porter of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
9:22	All these were chosen for porters of the gates, two hundreth and twelue, which were nombred according to their genealogies by their townes. Dauid established these and Samuel the Seer in their perpetuall office.
9:23	So they and their children had the ouersight of the gates of the house of the Lord, euen of the house of the Tabernacle by wardes.
9:24	The porters were in foure quarters Eastward, Westward, Northward and Southward.
9:25	And their brethren, which were in their townes, came at seuen dayes from time to time with them.
9:26	For these foure chiefe porters were in perpetuall office, and were of the Leuites and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God.
9:27	And they lay rounde about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened euery morning.
9:28	And certaine of them had the rule of the ministring vessels: for they brought them in by tale, and brought them out by tale.
9:29	Some of them also were appoynted ouer the instruments, and ouer all the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and of the floure, and the wine, and the oyle, and the incense, and the sweete odours.
9:30	And certaine of the sonnes of the Priestes made oyntments of sweete odours.
9:31	And Mattithiah one of the Leuites which was the eldest sonne of Shallum the Korhite, had the charge of the things that were made in the frying panne.
9:32	And other of their brethren the sonnes of Kohath had the ouersight of the shewbread to prepare it euery Sabbath.
9:33	And these are the singers, the chiefe fathers of the Leuites, which dwelt in the chambers, and had none other charge: for they had to do in that busines day and night:
9:34	These were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites according to their generations, and the principall which dwelt at Ierusalem.
9:35	And in Gibeon dwelt ye father of Gibeon, Ieiel, and the name of his wife was Maachah.
9:36	And his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
9:37	And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
9:38	And Mikloth begate Shimeam: they also dwelt with their brethren at Ierusalem, euen by their brethren.
9:39	And Ner begate Kish, and Kish begate Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan and Malchishua, and Abinadab and Eshbaal.
9:40	And the sonne of Ionathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begate Micah.
9:41	And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech and Tahrea.
9:42	And Ahaz begate Iarah, and Iarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaueth, and Zimri, and Zimri begate Moza.
9:43	And Moza begate Binea, whose sonne was Rephaiah, and his sonne was Eleasah, and his sonne Azel.
9:44	And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these are the sonnes of Azel.


9:1	And so all Israel numbred by kynreddes: beholde, they are wrytten in the boke of the kynges of Israel and of Iuda, and were caryed awaye to Babylon for their transgressyon:
9:2	Euen the olde enhabiters, that dwelt in their awne possessions & cyties, the Israelites, the preastes, Leuites & Nethenei.
9:3	And in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iuda, of the chyldren of Beniamin, & of the children of Ephraim & Manasse.
9:4	Uthai the sonne of Amihud, the sonne of Omri the sonne of Imri, the sonne of Beni, of the chyldren of Pharez, the sonne of Iuda.
9:5	And of Siloni, Asaia the eldest and his sonnes.
9:6	And of the sonnes of Zerah, Iehuel & their brethren .vj. hundred & nynetye.
9:7	And of the sonnes of Beniamin: Salu the sonne of Mesullam the sonne of Hodauia, the sonne of Senua:
9:8	& Iibneia the sonne of Ieroham. And Ela the sonne of Uzi the sonne of Michri. And Mesullam the sonne of Sephatia the sonne of Rehuel, the sonne of Iibnia.
9:9	And their brethren accordinge to their kynredes, nyne hundred fyftie and syxe. All these were principall men, and auncient in the housholdes of their fathers.
9:10	And of the preastes: Iedaia, Iehoiarib & Iachin:
9:11	Azaria the sonne of Aelkia the sonne of Mesullam, the sonne of Zadoc, the sonne of Maraioth, the sonne of Ahitob the chefest in the house of God.
9:12	And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham the sonne of Phashur, the sonne of Melchia. And Maasi the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iehezrah, the sonne of Mesullam, the sonne of Mesillomith, the sonne of Immor.
9:13	And their brethren which were heedes of the auncient housholdes of their fathers, a thousande seuen hundred & thre skore actiue men, for the worcke of the seruice of the house of God.
9:14	And of the Leuytes: Semeia the sonne of Aasub, the sonne of Asricam, the sonne of Hasabaia of the sonnes of Merari.
9:15	And Bacbakar & Heres and Galal. And Mathania the sonne of Micah, the sonne of Zicri, the sonne of Asaph.
9:16	And Obadia the sonne of Semeia the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Iduthun. And Berechia the sonne of Aza the sonne of Elcana that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
9:17	The porters were Sallum. Acub, Talmon & Ahiman and their brother, Sallum was the chefe.
9:18	For they watched hytherto, euen vnto the kynges gate eastwarde, thorowe out the tentes of the chyldren of Leuy.
9:19	And Sallum the sonne of Corah the sonne of Abiasaph the sonne of Corah, and his brethren the Corahites (of the house of their father) had their busynesse and offyce to kepe the porches of the tabernacle: and their fathers the Hoste of the Lorde, kepte the enterynge.
9:20	And Phinces the sonne of Eleazar was their foregyde, and the Lorde was with him.
9:21	And Zacharia the sonne of Meselemia kepte the watche before the dore of the tabernacle of witnesse.
9:22	All these were chosen men, to kepe the thresholdes, euen two hundred & twelue, and thorowe out all the genealogy were they numbred in their villages. And them dyd Dauid & Samuel the sear institute, because of their fidelite.
9:23	So they & their children had the ouersyght of the gates of the house of the Lorde, euen of the tabernacle, to kepe them.
9:24	In foure quarters dyd they kepe the watche: towarde the east, west, north, & south.
9:25	And their brethren remayned in the countre and came after seuen dayes from tyme to tyme with them.
9:26	For the Leuites (which had the ouersyght of the vestryes & treasures of the house of God) were vnder the custody of foure notable porters:
9:27	& they laye rounde aboute the house of God: because the kepynge therof pertayned to them, and they had the keyes to open euery mornynge.
9:28	And certen of them had the rule of the mynistringe vessels, & brought them in and out by tale.
9:29	Some of them were appoynted to ouerse the vesselles, and all the ornamentes of the Sanctuary, and the floure, wine, oyle, frankincense and swete odoures.
9:30	And certayne of the sonnes of the prestes made oyntmentes of the swete odoures.
9:31	And Mathathia one of the Leuites which was, the eldest sonne of Sallum: the Corathite, had the ouersyght of the thynges that were made in the fryenge panne.
9:32	And other of their brethren the sonnes of Cahath had the ouersyght of the shewbred which they prepared euery Sabboth.
9:33	These are the syngers: euen auncient fathers of the Leuites, which dwelt in separate chambres: & were fre, for they had to do in the temple bothe daye and nyght.
9:34	These were auncient fathers of the Leuites in their generacions, & dwelt at Ierusalem.
9:35	And in Gibeon dwelt Abi Gibeon & Iehiel, whose wife was called Maacha,
9:36	his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, Cis, Baal Ner and Nadab:
9:37	Gedor, Ahio, Zacharia and Mikloth.
9:38	And Mikloth begat Simean. And they also dwelt wt their brethren at Ierusalem, euen harde by them.
9:39	And Ner begat Cis, & Cis begat Saul. And Saul begat Iehonathan, Malchisua, Abinadab and Esbaal.
9:40	And the sonne of Iehonathan, was Meribbaal. And Meribbaal begat Micah,
9:41	and the sonnes of Micah were, Pithon, Melech and Thahrea.
9:42	And Ahaz begat Iahra. Iahra begat Alameth, Asmaneth, Zimri. Zimri begat Moza.
9:43	Moza begat Binea whose sonne was Rephaia, & his sonne was Elasa, & his sonne Azel.
9:44	And Azel had syxe sonnes, whose names are these: Azricam, Bochru, Ismael, Searia, Obadia and Hanan. These are the sonnes of Azel.
