27:1	Iotham was twenty and fiue yeeres olde, when hee began to reigne, and hee reigned sixteene yeeres in Ierusalem: his mothers name also was Ierushah, the daughter of Zadok.
27:2	And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit hee entred not into the temple of the Lord. And the people did yet corruptly.
27:3	He built the high gate of the house of the Lord, and on the wall of Ophel, he built much.
27:4	Moreouer hee built cities in the mountaines of Iudah, and in the forrests he built castles and towers.
27:5	He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and preuailed against them. And the children of Ammon gaue him the same yeere an hundred talents of siluer, and ten thousand measures of wheate, and tenne thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay vnto him, both the second yeere, and the third.
27:6	So Iotham became mightie, because he prepared his wayes before the Lord his God.
27:7	Now the rest of the actes of Iotham and all his warres, and his wayes, lo, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and Iudah.
27:8	Hee was fiue and twentie yeeres olde when he began to reigne, and reigned sixteene yeeres in Ierusalem.
27:9	And Iotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of Dauid: and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his stead.


27:1	Iotham was fiue and twentie yere olde when he began to reigne, and reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Ierushah the daughter of Zadok.
27:2	And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord according to all that his father Vzziah did, saue that hee entred not into the Temple of the Lord, and the people did yet corrupt their wayes.
27:3	He buylt the hie gate of the house of the Lord, and he buylt very much on the wall of the castle.
27:4	Moreouer hee buylt cities in the mountaines of Iudah, and in the forests he buylt palaces and towres.
27:5	And he fought with the King of the children of Ammon, and preuailed against them. And the children of Ammon gaue him the same yere an hundreth talents of siluer, and ten thousande measures of wheate, and ten thousand of barley: this did the children of Ammon giue him both in the second yeere and the third.
27:6	So Iotham became mightie because hee directed his way before the Lord his God.
27:7	Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all his warres and his wayes, loe, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel, and Iudah.
27:8	He was fiue and twentie yeere olde when he began to reigne, and reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem.
27:9	And Iotham slept with his fathers, and they buryed him in the citie of Dauid: and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his stead.


27:1	Iotham was fyue and twenty yere olde, when he beganne to raygne, and raygned syxtene yere in Ierusalem. Hys mothers name also was Ierusa the daughter of Zadoc.
27:2	And he dyd that which was ryght in the syght of the Lorde in all poyntes as dyd hys father Uzia saue, that he came not into the temple of the Lorde, and the people dyd yet wyckedly.
27:3	He buylt the hye gate of the temple of the Lorde, and on the walle (where the house of ordinaunce was) he buylte moche.
27:4	Moreouer he buylt cyties in the mountaynes of Iuda, and in the wood countreye he buylt castelles and towres.
27:5	He fought with the kynge of the chyldren of Ammon, and preuayled agaynst them. And the chyldren of Ammon gaue hym the same yere an hundred talentes of syluer, and ten thousande quarters of wheate, & ten thousand of barleye. So moche dyd the chyldren of Ammon geue hym the seconde yere and the thyrd also.
27:6	So Iotham became myghtie, because he directed hys waye before the Lorde his God.
27:7	The rest of the actes of Iotham & all hys warres, & his conuersacyon, lo, they are written in the boke of the kynges of Israel and Iuda.
27:8	He was .xxv. yere olde when he beganne to raygne, & raygned syxtene yere in Ierusalem.
27:9	And Iotham slepte with his fathers, and they buryed hym in the cytie of Dauid: & Ahaz hys sonne raygned in hys steade.
