Job - Chapter: 10

>
10:1My soule is weary of my life, I will leaue my complaint vpon my selfe; I will speake in the bitternesse of my soule.
10:2I will say vnto God, Doe not condemne mee; shewe me wherefore thou contendest with me.
10:3Is it good vnto thee, that thou shouldest oppresse? that thou shouldest despise the worke of thine hands? and shine vpon the counsell of the wicked?
10:4Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
10:5Are thy dayes as the dayes of man? are thy yeeres as mans dayes,
10:6That thou enquirest after mine iniquitie, and searchest after my sinne?
10:7Thou knowest that I am not wicked, and there is none that can deliuer out of thine hand.
10:8Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me together round about yet thou doest destroy me.
10:9Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and wilt thou bring me into dust againe?
10:10Hast thou not powred me out as milke, and cruddled me like cheese?
10:11Thou hast cloathed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinewes.
10:12Thou hast granted me life and fauour, and thy visitation hath preserued my spirit.
10:13And these things hast thou hid in thine heart; I know that this is with thee.
10:14If I sinne, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquite me from mine iniquitie.
10:15If I be wicked, woe vnto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift vp my head: I am full of confusion, therefore see thou mine affliction:
10:16For it increaseth: thou huntest me as a fierce Lion: and againe thou shewest thy selfe marueilous vpon me.
10:17Thou renuest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine indignation vpon me; Changes and warre are against me.
10:18Wherfore then hast thou brought me forth out of the wombe? Oh that I had giuen vp the ghost, and no eye had seene me!
10:19I should haue bene as though I had not bene, I should haue bene caried from the wombe to the graue.
10:20Are not my dayes few? cease then, and let me alone that I may take comfort a litle,
10:21Before I goe whence I shall not returne, euen to the land of darknes and the shadow of death,
10:22A land of darknes, as darknes it selfe, and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkenes.

10:1My soule is cut of though I lyue, I wil powre out my coplaynte against my selfe, and will speake out of the very heauinesse of my soule
10:2I will say vnto God: O do not condempne me, but shewe me wherefore thou contendest so with me
10:3Thinkest thou it welldone to oppresse me? to cast me of beyng the workes of thy handes? and to mayntayne the counsell of the vngodly
10:4Hast thou fleshy eyes? or doest thou loke as a man loketh
10:5Or are thy dayes as the dayes of man? and thy yeres as mans yeres
10:6That thou makest such inquisition for my wickednes, and searchest out my sinne
10:7Whereas thou knowest whether I shall do wickedly or no, and that none can deliuer me out of thyne hande
10:8Thy handes haue made me, & fashioned me altogether rounde about, wilt thou then destroy me
10:9Remember I besech thee that thou madest me as the moulde of the earth, and shalt bring me into dust againe
10:10Hast thou not powred me as it were milke, & turned me to cruddes like cheese
10:11Thou hast couered me with skinne and fleshe, and ioyned me together with bones and sinnowes
10:12Thou hast graunted me life, and done me good: and thy visitation hath preserued my spirite
10:13Thou hast hyd these thinges in thyne heart yet I am sure that thou remembrest this thing
10:14If I dyd sinne, thou haddest an eye vnto me, and shalt not pronounce me innocent from myne offence
10:15If I haue done wickedly, wo is me therefore: If I haue done righteously, yet dare I not lift vp my head, so full am I of confusion, and see myne owne miserie
10:16And let it increase, hunte me as a lion, & returne and shew thy selfe maruaylous vpon me
10:17Thou bringest freshe witnesse against me, and thy wrath increasest thou vpon me: diuers and many are the plagues that I am in
10:18Wherfore hast thou brought me out of the wombe? O that I had perished, and that no eye had seene me
10:19And that I were as though I had not ben, but brought from the wombe to the graue
10:20Are not my dayes fewe? Let him then leaue of fro me, and let me a lone, that I may comfort my selfe a litle
10:21Afore I go thyther from whence I shall not turne againe, euen to the lande of darknesse and shadowe of death
10:22Yea a lande as darke as darknesse it selfe, and into the shadowe of death where is none order, but the light is there as darknesse

10:1My soule is cut off though I liue: I wil leaue my complaint vpon my selfe, and wil speake in the bitternesse of my soule.
10:2I will say vnto God, Condemne mee not: shew me, wherefore thou contendest with mee.
10:3Thinkest thou it good to oppresse me, and to cast off the labour of thine handes, and to fauour the counsel of the wicked?
10:4Hast thou carnall eyes? or doest thou see as man seeth?
10:5Are thy dayes as mans dayes? or thy yeres, as the time of man,
10:6That thou inquirest of mine iniquitie, and searchest out my sinne?
10:7Thou knowest that I can not do wickedly: for none can deliuer me out of thine hand.
10:8Thine handes haue made me, and fashioned mee wholy rounde about, and wilt thou destroy me?
10:9Remember, I pray thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and wilt thou bring me into dust againe?
10:10Hast thou not powred me out as milke? and turned me to cruds like cheese?
10:11Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and ioyned me together with bones and sinewes.
10:12Thou hast giuen me life, and grace: and thy visitation hath preserued my spirit.
10:13Though thou hast hid these things in thine heart, yet I knowe that it is so with thee.
10:14If I haue sinned, then thou wilt streightly looke vnto me, and wilt not holde mee giltlesse of mine iniquitie.
10:15If I haue done wickedly, wo vnto me: if I haue done righteously, I will not lift vp mine head, being full of confusion, because I see mine affliction.
10:16But let it increase: hunt thou me as a lyon: returne and shew thy selfe marueilous vpon me.
10:17Thou renuest thy plagues against me, and thou increasest thy wrath against me: changes and armies of sorowes are against me.
10:18Wherfore then hast thou brought me out of the wombe? Oh that I had perished, and that none eye had seene me!
10:19And that I were as I had not bene, but brought from the wombe to the graue!
10:20Are not my dayes fewe? let him cease, and leaue off from me, that I may take a litle comfort,
10:21Before I goe and shall not returne, euen to the land of darkenesse and shadow of death:
10:22Into a land, I say, darke as darknes it selfe, and into the shadow of death, where is none order, but the light is there as darkenesse.
