| 27:1 | Moreouer Iob continued his parable, and sayd, |
| 27:2 | As God liueth, who hath taken away my iudgment, and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soule; |
| 27:3 | All the while my breath is in mee, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; |
| 27:4 | My lips shall not speake wickednesse, nor my tongue vtter deceit. |
| 27:5 | God forbid that I should iustifie you: till I die, I will not remoue my integritie from me. |
| 27:6 | My righteousnesse I hold fast, and will not let it goe: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I liue. |
| 27:7 | Let mine enemie be as the wicked, and he that riseth vp against me, as the vnrighteous. |
| 27:8 | For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soule? |
| 27:9 | Will God heare his cry, when trouble commeth vpon him? |
| 27:10 | Will he delight himselfe in the Almightie? will hee alwayes call vpon God? |
| 27:11 | I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almightie, will I not conceale. |
| 27:12 | Behold, all ye your selues haue seene it, why then are yee thus altogether vaine? |
| 27:13 | This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressours which they shall receiue of the Almightie. |
| 27:14 | If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offpring shall not be satisfied with bread. |
| 27:15 | Those that remaine of him shall bee buried in death: and his widowes shall not weepe. |
| 27:16 | Though he heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay: |
| 27:17 | He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall diuide the siluer. |
| 27:18 | He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh. |
| 27:19 | The rich man shall lie downe, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not: |
| 27:20 | Terrours take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. |
| 27:21 | The East winde carieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storme hurleth him out of his place. |
| 27:22 | For God shall cast vpon him, and not spare: hee would faine flee out of his hand. |
| 27:23 | Men shall clap their handes at him, and shall hisse him out of his place. |

| 27:2 | The liuing God hath taken away my iudgement: for the Almightie hath put my soule in bitternesse. |
| 27:3 | Yet so long as my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God in my nostrels, |
| 27:4 | My lips surely shall speake no wickednesse, and my tongue shall vtter no deceite. |
| 27:5 | God forbid, that I should iustifie you: vntill I dye, I will neuer take away mine innocencie from my selfe. |
| 27:6 | I will keepe my righteousnesse, and wil not forsake it: mine heart shall not reprooue me of my dayes. |
| 27:7 | Mine enemie shall be as the wicked, and he that riseth against me, as the vnrighteous. |
| 27:8 | For what hope hath the hypocrite when he hath heaped vp riches, if God take away his soule? |
| 27:9 | Will God heare his cry, when trouble commeth vpon him? |
| 27:10 | Will he set his delight on the Almightie? will he call vpon God at all times? |
| 27:11 | I will teache you what is in the hande of God, and I wil not conceale that which is with the Almightie. |
| 27:12 | Beholde, all ye your selues haue seene it: why then doe you thus vanish in vanitie? |
| 27:13 | This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of tyrants, which they shall receiue of the Almightie. |
| 27:14 | If his children be in great nomber, the sworde shall destroy them, and his posteritie shall not be satisfied with bread. |
| 27:15 | His remnant shall be buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe. |
| 27:16 | Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay, |
| 27:17 | He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer. |

| 27:19 | When the rich man sleepeth, he shall not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone. |

| 27:2 | As truly as God lyueth (which hath taken awaye my iudgement) and the Almightie, that hath vexed my mynde: |
| 27:3 | My lyppes shal talke of no vanyte, and my tonge shall speake no dysceate, |
| 27:4 | whyle my breth is in me, and as longe as the wynde (that God hath geuen me) is in my nostrels. |
| 27:5 | God forbid, that I shulde graunte youre cause to be ryght. As for me, vntyil myne ende come wyll I neuer goo fro myne innocency. |
| 27:6 | My ryghtwes dealynge kepe I fast, which I wyll not forsake: my hert shall not reproue me of my dayes. |
| 27:7 | Therfore, myne enemy shalbe founde as the vngodly, and he that taketh parte agaynst me, as the vnryghteous. |
| 27:8 | For what hope hath the ypocryte though he haue greate good, and though God geue him riches after his hertes desyre? |
| 27:9 | Doth God heare him the soner, when he crieth vnto him in hys necessite? |
| 27:10 | Hath he soch pleasure and delyte in the Almightye, that he darre alwaye call vpon God? |
| 27:11 | I wyll teach you in the name of God, and the thinge that I haue of the Almyghtie, will I not kepe from you, |
| 27:12 | Beholde, ye stande in youre awne conceate, as though ye knewe all thynges. Wherfore then do ye go aboute with soch vayne wordes, |
| 27:13 | sayenge. This is the porcion that the wycked shall haue of God, and the heretage that Tyrauntes shall receaue of the Almyghtie. |
| 27:14 | If he get many children, they shall perish with the swerde, and his posterite shall haue scarcenesse of bred. |
| 27:15 | Loke whom he leaueth behinde him, they shall dye and be buried, and no man shall haue pitye of hys wyddowes. |
| 27:16 | Though he haue as moch money as the dust of the earth, and rayment as ready as the claye, |
| 27:17 | he maye well prepare it: but the godly shall put it vpon hym, and the innocent shall deale out the money. |
| 27:18 | His house shall endure as the moth, and as a boothe that the watch man maketh. |
| 27:19 | When the ryche man dyeth, he carieth nothynge with him: he is gone in the twyncklinge of an eye and hath nothynge. |
| 27:20 | Destruccion taketh holde vpon him as a water floude, & the tempest stealeth him awaye in the nyght season. |
| 27:21 | A vehement east winde caryeth hym hence, and departeth, a storme plucketh hym oute of his place. |
| 27:22 | It russheth in vpon him, and spareth hym not, he maye not escape from the power therof. |
| 27:23 | Then clappe men their handes at him, yee, & ieast of hym when they loke vpon his place. |
