Psalms - Chapter: 24

24:1A Psalme of Dauid. The earth is the Lordes, and all that therin is: the compasse of the worlde, and they that dwell therin.
24:2For he hath founded it vpon the sees, & prepared it vpon the floudes.
24:3Who shall ascende into the hyll of the Lorde? Or, who shall ryse vp in his holy place?
24:4Euen he that hath cleane handes & a pure hert: & that hath not lyfte vp his mynde vnto vanite, ner sworne to disceaue.
24:5He shall receaue the blessynge from the Lorde, and ryghteousnesse from the God of hys saluacyon.
24:6Thys is the generacion of them that seke him, euen of them that seke thy face, O Iacob. Sela.
24:7Lyfte vp youre heades O ye gates, & be ye lyfte vp, ye euerlastynge dores, & the kynge of glory shall come in.
24:8Who is this kynge of glory? It is the Lorde stronge & myghtie, euen the Lord myghtye in battell.
24:9Lyfte vp youre heades (O ye gates) & be ye lyfte vp ye euerlastyng dores, & the kyng of glory shall come in.
24:10Who is thys kynge of glory? Euen the Lorde of Hoostes, he is the kynge of glory. Sela.

 

24:1The title of the foure and twentithe salm. To Dauid.
24:2Lord, to thee Y haue reisid my soule; my God, Y truste in thee, be Y not aschamed.
24:3Nethir myn enemyes scorne me; for alle men that suffren thee schulen not be schent.
24:4Alle men doynge wickyd thingis superfluli; be schent. Lord, schewe thou thi weies to me; and teche thou me thi pathis.
24:5Dresse thou me in thi treuthe, and teche thou me, for thou art God my sauyour; and Y suffride thee al dai.
24:6Lord, haue thou mynde of thi merciful doyngis; and of thi mercies that ben fro the world.
24:7Haue thou not mynde on the trespassis of my yongthe; and on myn vnkunnyngis. Thou, Lord, haue mynde on me bi thi merci; for thi goodnesse.
24:8The Lord is swete and riytful; for this he schal yyue a lawe to men trespassynge in the weie.
24:9He schal dresse deboner men in doom; he schal teche mylde men hise weies.
24:10Alle the weies of the Lord ben mercy and treuthe; to men sekynge his testament, and hise witnessyngis.

24:2For he hath fouded it vpo the sees, & buylded it vpon the floudes.
24:3Who shal go vp in to the hill off the LORDE? Or, who shal remayne in his holy place?
24:4Eue he yt hath innocet hodes & a clene herte: which lifteth not vp his mynde vnto vanite, & sweareth not to disceaue.
24:5He shal receaue the blessinge fro the LORDE, ad mercy fro God his sauioure.
24:6This is ye generacio of the yt seke him, of the yt seke yi face, o Iacob.
24:7Sela. Open yor gates (o ye prices) let the euerlastinge dores be opened, yt ye kynge of glory maye come in.
24:8Who is this kynge of glory? It is the LORDE stroge and mightie, euen the LORDE mightie in batell.
24:9Open youre gates (o ye prynces) let the euerlastinge dores be opened, yt the kynge off glory maye come in.
24:10Who is this kynge off glory? It is the LORDE of hoostes, he is the kynge of glory. Sela.
